Beehold Cakes did a fantastic job on the cakes for my wedding! I initially hired them because of the unique cake design and reviews that they were good tasting cakes. The picture included is the dessert table at the event. I think my favorite flavor of cake was the triple chocolate cake. The chocolate drizzle on it was so flavorful as well! It might've been the best cake I've ever had because I love chocolate. The salted caramel coconut one had a great blend of flavors. All of them tasted fresh and they all looked so fancy with the unique cake design. Just ran into this adorable new bakery while at the Cherry Creek Shopping Center. They just opened yesterday and the store is already decorated for the holidays. They are located in the first floor in the spot that I believe previously housed Cinnaholic. Although I had never heard of them before, I believe they have been around for awhile and are well known for their cakes though the store did have cookies and other baked goods available. They have a large selection of their pretty spiral bundt cakes. They sell them by the slice or in different sizes if you want to buy a full cake. They also take custom orders for special occasion and there were flyers in the store for those interested. The staff was very friendly and helpful while I made up my mind on what to order. I tried a slice of their coconut cake which was delicious. Perfectly moist and just the perfect size for a quick dessert after lunch. Will definitely be coming back to try their other flavors. read more

These are amazingly delicious, unique cakes made by a group of incredible women who genuinely care about not only their cakes, but their customers. My first Beehold Cake, an Original Coconut, was a gift from a thoughtful friend following my mom's passing. Obviously, that's a moment where nobody really knows what to say, but they just want to do SOMETHING -- anything -- to brighten your world. Well, it worked. And I never forgot that delicious, rich-but-not-too-rich, eat-anytime cake. Last week, when I learned that my friends'/neighbors' daughter was in the hospital fighting a profoundly serious bacterial infection that nearly killed her, I had that same moment: a deep desire to find anything at all that might be day-brightening for them. It also needed to be practical and welcome for people who are essentially living in a hospital right now. I immediately thought of that Beehold Original Coconut Cake, and couldn't shake the idea that it was really my best and possibly only option. I figured flowers were still unwelcome in what are still COVID-World hospitals, and who really wants balloons? Also, I remembered -- from my own too-recent experience -- that what worried, preoccupied people stuck in hospitals REALLY need is some universal-appeal snack-type food that's okay not to be refrigerated for a spell. Voila: A Beehold Cake was the answer. (Not to mention my neighbors used to keep bees, so that was on the nose, too.) But I needed the cake ASAP. So, pre-tucking my tail between my legs, I sent a humble entreaty via email to Beehold Cakes seeing if they might be able to make an Original Coconut happen for me in less than 24 hours. (Typically, they require 48-hour lead time.) I admitted in that email I knew I was asking a lot, but that I felt compelled to ask regardless. To my wonder and delight, Laura replied within only a few minutes' time saying she'd make it happen for me. She couldn't have been more gracious throughout our interactions. And indeed, the next morning I had an early email saying my cake was ready for pickup pretty much at my convenience. It meant a great deal to be able to give this glorious cake alongside our feel-better-soon card. You just want people to know you care, and to give them something they're sure to enjoy.
