The workers were very kind and efficiently pumping out orders as the line was never ending in the time I was there! Overall impression of the macarons is they are not so sweet that you feel like you're instantly getting a cavity but still very flavorful and bright. I got 6 of them: Raspberry white chocolate 6/10 I hate white chocolate so not sure why I thought I'd like this but even as a white chocolate hater it's not too bad Chocolate 7/10 surprisingly the most bland, kind of just tasted like a brownie Coffee 8/10 pretty simple coffee flavor going on here, very robust and a good pick for people that don't like super sweet Strawberry champagne 10/10 delicious!! Floral, sparkly, tastes like real strawberry not synthetic strawberry flavor Strawberry kiwi 10/10 delicious and beautiful! The kiwi flavoring comes through in a way I've never tasted with a sweet before Creme brûlée 10/10 my favorite!! The charred sugar on top was so delicious, paired perfect with the creamy marshmallowey flavor of the macaron. Again is a great pick if you don't like super sweet.

Everything we have gotten from Bella's is amazing: bagel sandwiches, cookies, macaroons. It's a cute little spot, definitely more of a grab and go but there are a couple of tables! The service is always great and the ladies that work there are just the sweetest. I would recommend the bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich and any of the macaroons.

Somewhat small on the inside with a cute bar, a variety of both high and low top seating, and a bakery case for quick ordering near the entrance. Service was excellent and it was clean and bright inside. The food was out of this world good. First off, I'm a sucker for a London Fog and this was one of the best I've had. Their cocktails all look super good and will be back to try some. Our table ordered a variety of meals and some pastries to-go. We tried the hash, Benny, stuffed French toast, veggie omelet, sourdough baguette, macarons, croissants, and a pop tart. For the meals: - hash (corned beef is perfectly cooked and it's a nice sized portion with a runny poached egg on top and hollandaise over a crispy/well-seasoned Rösti - very good but a little on the heavy side for me) - benny (loved the flavors of this one and that duck confit was so flavorful and tender. Also, loved the bright, refreshing salad it comes with) - veggie omelet (I didn't try this one, but my brother in law said it was a great, traditional omelet - nice and cheesy) - stuffed French toast (WOWWWW - no notes. It was sublime. The passionfruit stuffing was to die for and it comes with a candied honeycomb. Not something I normally order, but we split it for the table and everyone wanted another one it was so good!) The sourdough baguette is perfect and has little flakes of sea salt on the crust. Crunchy on the outside and soft and spongey on the inside. All of the pastries are delicious and I've got my eye on so many more things for the next visit. 10/10 experience.

We tried 4 different desserts - lychee mousse, passion fruit mousse, basque cheesecake and tiramisu. The basque cheesecake I had was so good! The lychee was a little lacking in flavor, the passion fruit was delicious and so was the tiramisu. Everything was not too sweet and tasted fresh! It was lacking in flavor depth and texture was not airy enough; not even top 10-15 I have ever had. The best plain croissant I've tried in Denver is at Reunion Bakery, which is pretty much perfect and exemplifies what I had in Paris. They do have more unique flavors and offerings, but again, none of them blew me away and were actually quite underwhelming. Spinach artichoke croissant and chorizo strada were bland and lacking salt. Cinna-roll and almond croissant were probably the best ones but still nothing to write home about. I found it hard to eat more than 3 bites of anything I got because I did not feel any enjoyment from it and my taste buds were not sufficiently tingled lmao. Maybe I have higher pastry standards coming from San Francisco where there are just so many amazing options, but I think Poulette is a fine neighborhood bakery although not a place anyone should go out of their way for or wait more than 5 minutes for. I went on a Saturday morning at 9am when the wait was around 20-30 minutes. Staff were helpful and nice. Street parking was easy to find. There is limited seating indoors and outdoors.

I was greeted by one of the owners, Gonzo Jimenez (he was on Netflix's Bake Squad reality show) when I approached the counter. I ended up purchasing the following: White Chocolate Strawberry Swirl, $8.50 prior to tax and fees- Of the two bars that I purchased, this one was my favorite. I love white chocolate, especially when combined with fruit or peppermint or dark chocolate. This was a nice creamy bar that really complemented the strawberry flavors. I would purchase this bar again. The only down side is that this bar is thin and I think this bar is pricey for what it is. Pistachio Milk Chocolate Bar, $9.85 prior to tax and fees- According to Gonzo Jimenez, this bar is their take on the trendy Dubai chocolate. I was definitely disappointed with this bar. There really wasn't that much pistachio and a higher ratio of chocolate. This bar was just average for me and wouldn't purchase it again. ------------------------------------ (Total= $20.10 after tax and fees) There are numerous of chocolate desserts, chocolates, bars, etc that one can choose from at this little boutique. But they are a bit pricey, but that's because these are artisan chocolates and some are very pretty. Gonzo Jimenez did tell me that you can also purchase some of their items online, including the bars I purchased (shipping is extra but if you feeling extra spendy, if your order $150 then you can get free shipping).
