I don't throw around the word "franchise" lightly. But I walked out of Mango Mango Dessert on Colorado Blvd genuinely researching whether I could open one in centennial or south area. That should tell you everything. The crepe cake is what got me. Thin crepe after thin crepe, stacked with cream, and somehow light enough that you don't feel like a monster for finishing it. We also grabbed some to bring home... which lasted about 20 minutes if I'm being honest. Perfect end of night dessert. Here is the thing though... this place doesn't feel like it was built for an American audience. It feels like someone picked it up directly from Asia and just set it down on Colorado Blvd, completely intact. The flavors, the presentation, the whole experience... it's the real deal. Not a watered down approximation of what Americans think Asian dessert tastes like. The actual thing. Now the lines. They are long. At all hours. And the answer is yes... people just love it this much. A line that long is usually trying to tell you something. Go. Just bring a bag if patience.

Our order came out in a zippy. I had the special mango mango drink and shared few deserts. All gone! Licked the plate, sucked the last drop! When you are in a mood for some mango, this is the place. Thank you for bringing the order to our table. 1. Very noisy. Need some noise absorbing wall art. 2. Those chairs legs - as bad as the chalk board

Portions are awesome and priced well. I would suggest this place as a first date to get to know each other over a awesome meal. You got to check out the baked goods as well. FOOD: Gallo has a complete menu of every Italian restaurant staple you can make, and its feel of authenticity is enhanced by the wide variety of pasta and baked goods in a shop up front (which you can add to your check to have for dessert). The garlic knots are mandatory to order; I would go there for just a meal of them. My wife subbed in gnocchi for pasta in a vodka sauce, both of which were quite good. I had a lasagna Bolognese which was tasty, but a bit heavy on the bechemel and a little too overall soft (lasagna shouldn't squish). We had a couple of desserts from the bakery, and they were decadently spectacular. Cocktails were also quite good. SERVICE: This place felt like, if you showed up twice, they'd welcome you into the family, ask about your kids, come over and visit, etc. This made things friendly (even with strangers), but made the service only good, not great. AMBIANCE: The place looks to have been redecorated recently, and is stylish and comfortable. Almost too stylish -- the "supper club" / "mia famiglia" image just didn't quite work with the high-end decor. TIP: The place is in downtown Englewood on Broadway -- but has a great public parking lot behind. NET-NET: a darned good place -- but not enough for the distance we'd usually need travel to it, compared to darned good Italian places we have closer to home. I would never turn down an invitation from friends to join them there, but it wouldn't be my first choice to go to.

There are many flavors to choose from and everything is amazing. My favorite is the original/vanilla but recently had to pivot to chocolate as they ran out of the original flavor. Interesting they call it original but the sign says vanilla, so it can be confusing for some customers. Overall always a great experience here and glad they decided to open a store in Denver.

I wanted something different from cookies or donuts and thought Beard Papa's was the perfect opportunity for the office to try something new. The 24 minis (original flavor) for $30 was a good compromise and figured it would give each office personnel a little taste of these cream puffs. The filing options are: strawberry, vanilla, green tea, and chocolate. Yum! The associate was nice, it was clean inside and plenty of parking in the shopping complex. There are stairs to consider if you visit the store. Beard Papa's also offers catering! Go check them out if you need a sweet treat for yourself or an office. Lastly, stay tuned for their updated loyalty program.

BUT OH MY GOODNESS - I THINK THIS IS THE BEST ICE CREAM PLACE IN DENVER. I bought 2 pints and they were so delicious. Perfectly creamy ice cream with a TON of mix-ins if you like that. I think getting the pint is the best way to experience their ice cream, especially if you love mix-ins and toppings. Street parking but it's not impossible to find a spot within 2-3 blocks. So some of our group started with their ice cream while we waited. There was only one person cooking and one running the front - and I do mean running. She didn't even have time to take a breath! Their ice cream is definitely their star. The flavors are creative and delicious and the toppings craveworthy. I've had their burgers before at a pop up and they were wonderful. That wasn't the case today. I'm betting that was due to there only being one cook and a large crowd. I'm not sure why they were so understaffed on a warm weekend day but it definitely effected the food quality. All of our burgers were way overcooked and greasy. I had to wipe the grease off the top of my bun before I ate some. The fries were pretty good but cold. They only have 4 small tables outside for seating and all the tables were pretty dirty. There was also a lot of trash on the ground. So I bumped my rating to 4 stars because of the ice cream and the front of house staff person. I don't think I'd order food there again though.
