Not only did I not have a cake ordered, but had committed to getting a custom photo cake. I checked with all of the big box folks, and they either didn't make photo cakes anymore or had a long lead time. I called Cakes by Karen on a Thursday, needing a Saturday pickup, and not only were they able to meet my timing needs without an additional fee, but the cake was perfect looking and even better tasting. We decided to go with a tart cake in the shape of a 30. I sent her some photos of the look we were going for and she nailed it. We did the 3 in vanilla and 0 in chocolate tart.
