Take your business elsewhere. The owner Oscar doesn't speak any English, so he's always needing someone to translate for him. That I've seen, he's been through three translators within the year that we have used him. He can't seem to keep his workers and something tells me it's probably because he's shady. He made us pay him in full, said that he would come back anytime to cut the weeds if it grew more than 4" (as required by the city). A few months later, he came back only because we needed to get our palm trees cleaned. After he took our money, we asked him about the weeds that were growing more than 4". He then proceeded to half-spray some weed killer, and said he would be back that week to finish the job. We told him that we were trying to sell the house and that we would need everything nice and clean. He said no problem and took off. Since then, we've tried calling numerous times and he would never answer his phone. He just sends us straight to voicemail now. One star, because he completely left us hanging! He only cared about taking our money upfront. read more

What a waste of time! Don't waste yours! I called on Tues. and left a message, and he called back soon after, saying he missed a call. I needed an estimate for my front and back yard maintenance and/or landscaping needs. He immediately referred to the reviews, saying the other people never sent him their address and that's why he was unreliable, and he asked me to send the address, which I did immediately. We made an appointment for Friday 11am. He asked ME to send HIM a reminder, which right there is already suspect.  I sent him the reminder on Thursday evening and he replied "Sounds good, thank you for the reminder."  I changed my whole day around, rushed and tried to be there on time, and lo' and behold he was nowhere to be seen.  I texted and called. He called back. It went like this: "Where are you? I'm here." "In Ontario?" "No, Pomona! What time are you going to be here?" "Oh, what's the address?... I can be there in 37 minutes." "What happened to our appointment? We said 11am!" "Oh, I had a job to do..." [fill in excuse here] Despite the multiple bad reviews, I wanted to give him a chance.  What  a waste of time. So update on my review. Oscar saw my review and i am sure that's why he's not fixing the issues that i wrote above. Here is pictures of what my grass looks like right now and how the sprinklers are set up. I have not used the sprinkler system because it was messing up my tree, so I've been watering by hand and tree is doing much better. So disappointing, how can you tell someone you are coming at 5, and then never show up and my husband has to call to see what happened. We had Greenleaf come out to trim four trees on our property. They did an excellent job, we just bought our house and all four trees were overgrown and hadn't been trimmed in years. We gave them the job because when Daniel came out for the quote he mentioned safety, that there's an arborist on the crew and gave us a fair price. The trees looked clean and not hacked up. They were cheaper from the other quotes I received. They were available the next day and were 15 minutes early. They trimmed down 2 trees that were in the power lines and a couple of other side trees. Very professional and got the job done in 2.5 hours. If I could give Oscar ZERO stars I would. He came to my house a few weeks ago to give me an estimate and he promised and promised and we agreed on the work to be done and on a price. I told him I would think about it and get back to him and he kept calling and texting me to convince me to go with him and to allow him to start the work and upon finally deciding to go with him he asked if I could pay cash and give him a payment up front and then midway and then when the work was done. Well he started asking for more cash to "pay" the workers and little by little his promised began falling apart and he underdelivered. Mistake after mistake started happening and he had an excuse and justification for everything. I kept calling him and texting him and he said he would come and finish the work and the time never came. Excuse after excuse after excuse. Oscar is honestly full of talk and no action! I regret going with him for my work and he is a dishonest untrustworthy person who is only looking to SCAM people and walk away with their money not caring what consequences can come his way for this type of behavior and attitude! The County and The State along will be contacted about this and a lawsuit will come his way. I gave him opportunity after opportunity for him to resolve the issue and he just doesn't care! The pictures below demonstrate the unfinished work he did, leaving a mess, cables that were not ran and reconnected to valves and timer, cable exposed on pavers covered by dirt, an unfinished block wall with pillars, the level of concrete for water not done right so water accumulates bad, and the whole unfinished portion that is dirt and he was supposed to install pavers there along side of extended driveway and create a paver pathway leading to side door. The initial work done for our lawn was great. They came right in and worked very hard and completed the work fast and efficiently. The only issue we had with them is our sprinkler system. They did not connect our system correctly. It took them weeks to return to correct the problem. This work was done for my mother's lawn and they kept giving her the run-around of when they would return to fix the problem. After about a week of going back and forth, my mother was at the point of frustration and demanded that the contractor returned right away. To no avail they did not show up when they said they would. After I called, I was able to get them to come on a Sunday morning. It was like pulling teeth to get them to come back out to us. Since they had already gotten paid in full, we were no longer their priority. They had taken other jobs and put us at the bottom of the list. I wish they would have just done everything correctly the first time instead of rushing. Overall, they did decent work on our lawn, but when they do something wrong, it takes forever to get the problem fixed by them which put a bad taste in our mouth about the company. We definitely would not rehire this company at all, based on this issue alone. read more
