Since we had a slope we needed the wall installed and then to have some old concrete removed and a good amount of new concrete poured. Rick went over our options and cost, and we decided on the route to go with. My neighbors highly recommended Rick and his team for the job. Communication and scheduling was very easy. Pricing was extremely reasonable, especially when you consider you have the best team for the job. They handled the permit with the city and kept me updated as the work was being completed. Everything looks beautiful and we are extremely happy with how this project turned out. Zero issues or hiccups, just an amazing team of professionals getting a job done perfectly and quick.

Rafael was excellent with communication, very professional, knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and clearly experienced in what he does. He took the time to explain the work, answer questions, and make sure everything was done correctly. His crew was just as impressive. Everyone arrived in company shirts, they brought the proper equipment for the job, and they even provided their own portable restroom. The entire operation felt organized, efficient, and professional. You could tell this was a legitimate business that takes pride in its work and in how it presents itself at a customer's home. The quality of the landscaping and hardscape work exceeded my expectations, and the project moved along efficiently without sacrificing attention to detail. I'm very happy with the finished result and would absolutely use Rafael's Landscape again. Highly recommended.

Now that is great customer service as any customer would like to hear that their ideas/visions can come to life. Tony & his crew made our project a top priority. They even re-did our backyard after we decided to add a pool, more cement, & cover. This project was hard work since they had to gut the whole backyard and start over - Yikes! But this was no problem to Tony & his crew. Thanks to Tony's Landscaping, our family has been able to host our family/friends and enjoy many memories with our kids in the backyard. We are forever grateful for the hard work, effort, and dedication Tony & his crew made to make our home an oasis. I want to add that they also did our front yard and we have referred them out to many others who are very happy with the work they've done.

While he appears knowledgeable, he also appears to bid on the overall value of the home versus the job he is doing. He did offer two options, repairs and removing all the stone and reinstallation, but even his repair quote was more than the other two quotes for complete removal and installation of the stone. In the end I went with another local firm that did an excellent job at a third of the cost of what Tony quoted. Maybe this is a one off as I see Bernas has generally good reviews, but in my case I feel Tony was just trying to take advantage of an unfortunate situation. Now three months later I'm still receiving quotes and Bernas Masonry requesting the job, even though I have told Tony that I went with another company. Before you commit to these guys, just make sure to get at least another quote for reference, as in my case they were not competitively priced even had I gone with their cheaper option of a few basic repairs they were still more than the other guys completely redoing the job.

I got 5 bids on the the flatwork I needed on one of my projects, his was very competitive with 2 others and much lower than 2 other contractors. After speaking with him, I could tell he was very knowledgeable and was the only subcontractor that wanted to pour the driveway at 5.5"-6" thick, compared to everyone else who wanted the minimum requirements of 3.5"-4" thick. He added more control joints than what most concrete controls would. The mix was exactly what we needed for the slope of the driveway (low slump). His finished product is beautiful. Most importantly, he pointed out a grading to stucco issue that I should have caught way before; I got the stucco to grade issue resolved quickly, but without his knowledge and communication skills I would have had a serious problem. I will forever recommend Keyway West and Burt. He's a professional and completes his job on schedule and takes pride in doing work correctly.
