It had been a long time since I visited The Greenery. We actually just stopped by for dessert today. On this Saturday before Easter Sunday, it was mostly empty at about 2:30 pm, so no wait - always a plus. From the beginning the service was great - friendly and sincere. The ambiance is probably one of my favorite things. It feels like a hideout in the woods, with a commercial kitchen, so even better. We ordered coffee and dessert. The chocolate cake was yummy and the specialty coffee was perfect. No substitutions or add-ons were needed. The prices were also decent and fair. While we were there briefly I was impressed all over again. So much so that this may be my meeting spot when on the west side of town. I want to try more of their menu items. (I think I saw chile enogadas on the menu.)

First, I want to say that the salads and food items are good here. However they used to have a butternut squash salad here that was great and they got rid of it. We like to pick up food from here because finding good salads in El Paso is so rare. The wait time isn't always what they say. We always have to wait for pick up orders because they are never ready when we go in to pick them up. Also, it's very difficult to get anyone to answer the phone. Several people in our family tried to call and the phone just rang and rang, and nobody answered. We were persistent and finally someone picked up the phone.

The Greenery is a hidden gem that deserves more recognition. The French Onion soup here is one of the best I've had in El Paso. We also tried the fettuccine alfredo with green chile alfredo sauce and chicken, along with a burger. The food was pretty good overall.

Overall a good experience for Valentine's Day at the Greenery. The place was absolutely packed. Service was on the the slow side but this was to be expected. I had the meatloaf with green chili which well prepared. Comfort and winter food par excellence. Great company with Ricardo Baraza the owner of Wine Attitude. The ambiance was relaxed and festive for this romantic celebration. This is definitely a easy and great place for power lunches.

This restaurant comes up as one of the top restaurants for vegan friendly foods in El Paso, so naturally I had to check it out during my recent visit. First things first, they are located inside a mall with a very cozy ambiance. Second, they had a separate vegan menu - Whattt?!!!! I was impressed! They had a lot of options on the vegan menu made with impossible. I had the spicy Thai salad, and didn't want to have cold veggies so they were very gracious to sustitute greens with rice for me. It was decent, a bit too sweet for me. Lastly, and most importantly - they had a seasonal vegan dessert option that was delicious - a pumpkin muffin. I opted to go for the regular butter and whipped cream on the side. 4 stars because of the sweetness in the entree. Overall, recommend the place.

I decided to try the Greenery while wondering around the mostly vacant sunland park mall. I wish this place was in a better location. However, that's about the end of the negatives. The prime rib was one of the best I've tried. The mashed potatoes were amazing. The Latte was pretty dang good. All around it was a great dining experience.

An old family favorite. Blueberry muffins are oustanding. Service is always great. Pasta and their rueben sandwich are really good.

Went on a date to try a new burger place while getting the car serviced at a west side dealership…read more We've heard about the about Chase the Taste which was originally a Food Truck and decided to give it a try. Plus we love supporting local businesses. Immediately we were greeted and the woman answered our questions. We prefer the Green chili burger and the smash burger with an appetizer of onion rings. They brought everyone out at once- it was hot, gooey, juicy and amazing. The onion rings had the perfect crunch and were delicious. The green chili burger had a slight spice but not hot, just flavorful. I ordered the smash burger and the amount of meat on that burger was astounding. While the store front itself is a bit bare and could use some sprucing up to make it more fun or stand out, it was by far the cleanest restaurant I have ever stepped foot in. This place is wiped down after every guest very well (not just a quick wipe down but very clean) even the bathroom was extremely clean. Over all great food, quick service, clean place to eat. Would recommend but mostly for the burgers, everything else is just icing on the cake.

Oh man I'll admit that this place took me by surprise in the best way possible! My friends and I…read morewere in town and were looking for a solid place to eat when we came across this spot through Yelp. I ordered the skirt steak that was drizzled with chimichurri sauce. The steak was well seared and at the temperature I requested, medium, which is sometimes hard to do with this cut of steak. It was well-seasoned and juicy! The potatoes and green beans were cooked perfectly as well. Our server was really kind and efficient when it came to servicing the size of our party. This is definitely a place worth checking out when you're in town!

Easy to find location in downtown El Paso. Lots of seating inside with some patio seating as well…read more I got here for lunch, and the server was very nice. I ordered the calamari and the skirt steak. The calamari was very crispy, and came out super fast (like, within minutes). Plate wise, it looks massive, but I could have definitely finished it off by myself. The skirt steak was a different story. It took forever to come out. I was texting a friend from when I ordered to when I received it, and it took 30 minutes. I don't totally understand how since the restaurant barely had any tables... but it was good? In that time though, I didn't know where my server was, and no one has checked in on me so I didn't even know how to ask about my food. Under normal conditions, I think I would be happy with this meal, and would order it again. Would I come back? I think so. The salmon sounded very yummy. I don't think I'd order the calamari again though.
