Honestly, I would way rather pay a little more for the kind of quality and service I receive from Greener Printer. I have been using them for printing since 2005 and have always had an exemplary experience. A couple of years ago we tried a different local printer as they were half the price, but the quality of what we got ended up costing us more as we then had to go back to Greener Printer to get the whole job redone. We won't be making that mistake again! I appreciate the attention to detail and that they are ecologically sound. My experience with this company was miserable. I communicated with a marketing staff member and went back and forth working to meet their printing demands. When the marketing staffer was satisfied, she sent the two orders to a print staff member who told me that all my work was wrong and chastised me by writing in ALL CAPS. Then when I cancelled my orders, they could not even do the math to refund the correct amount. For the printing, I ordered 70lb matte paper, 80lb matte cover, perfect bound - to make an arts catalogue. It is truly perfectly printed. Greenerprinter has been my to-go sustainable print vendor for quite some time now. I'm a designer for a clean energy tech company in Santa Monica and we have been very conscious of printing our brand collateral on recycled materials. They offer a discount on all orders for fellow B Corps (excluding printing business cards) so that's a plus. +1 for doing good for the environment!! I'm also very drawn to their flexibility in accommodating for our various print needs. They have a drop down menu of standard sizes and materials for specific items but I could easily call in to order custom sizes and paper weights. They are a good environmentally friendly printer as long as you don't mind your orders being late and paying extra for turnaround times that they fail to meet. Their customer service is indifferent when orders are delayed due to their own errors. Most recently my order shipped an order four days late and they didn't even notify me about it, didn't upgrade the shipping and now my very time sensitive christmas cards won't get out by christmas because of it. (I'm hoping they will at least refund my holiday order that they completely botched this year). Sadly because I've had issues with them missing deadlines in the past - I felt like it was time to write this review. Bottom line: if you don't care when you will get your materials, they are fine and a good option for environmentally friendly paper. But if you are on a deadline, do not use them. read more

I placed an order for three labels. After getting the soft proofs, I realized I couldn't really tell how the color would look in person so I requested hard proofs instead. They asked that I call them on the phone and I did, and had a pleasant conversation with one of their representatives. I was told the cost included overnight shipping, and I said the order wasn't urgent...could I pay less and not get it overnighted (they said no). That was a bit annoying, but I told her it was ok. She told me it would arrive on Wednesday. Wednesday -- no labels, Thursday -- no labels, Friday -- no labels and I reached out trying to figure out what was going on. The email responses to my inquiries were round-about without giving me a clear answer of the reason for the delay. The next week on Monday I reached out again and was told that because of a mistake in how the order was designated, the proof hadn't been printed but they'd do it and get in the mail ASAP. I thought it was odd that they didn't offer some sort of compensation for the delay since I ended up getting the sticker 6 days after it was promised. The label's quality was lower compared to another company we used in the past, and the color was quite faded. Perhaps I could have worked with them to improve it, but the exchange left a negative impression so I decided to cancel the order. I was then notified that wouldn't be refunding me the $45 for the soft proofs...so now I'm out $90. Though they were nice on the phone, once a problem arose they didn't seem too keen on trying to keep my business. I think it's really unfortunate that I'm out nearly $100 for the three digital proofs (which are just uploads of the design that I made...I'm not sure what work was done on their end for these proofs) and one hard proof that came 6 days after it was promised (even though I paid for overnight shipping). read more

I've so far printed 2 sets of booklets with greener printer and the results have been great. I've appreciated the quick responses from the customer service, despite the challenges posed to small businesses by the pandemic this year. Having an online account integrated in their website made re-printing a breeze and checking in on printing job progress very simple. Love the idea of the business, however the experience was difficult. I have no idea if my order even shipped out to mailboxes, as the order page doesn't update to what is going on (in production or mailed, etc) and no one responds to messages or takes a long time to do so. I paid for a quick turn around and it took twice as long to get my order started because they kept changing my design from what I originally sent in. Not as fast and efficient as other printers. We spend a lot on print and I really wanted to bring the rest of my business here for the environmental aspect of it, but I will have to look elsewhere for a printing company that is running more smoothly. read more

Clear process, timely delivery and excellent print quality.

This is my first year using GreenerPrinter and it has been a real pleasure working with their team! My typical print orders are relatively large (1k+ units) and I have previously worked with an out-of-state printer but decided to try GreenerPrinter so I could actually visit in person and have the flexiblity to be more environmentally friendly with recycled paper options. Really not sure where all these recent bad reviews are coming from but the customer service and product quality I received (including print paper, print color, shrink wrapping, and box packaging) defintely exceeded my expectations. What I loved: Communication - Both Sarah and Jeff were great to work with. Sarah helped work with me on the initial quote and was honest and clear about the pricing and what she could do to accommodate. Jeff was especially helpful throughout the project, always picking up my calls and answering all my questions as we went through each stage of the project ( proofing, printing, packaging and finally shipping ). Overall great people. Product - The project came out perfect. High print quality, no complaints. Location - The print center is large and well organized. A real professional establishment.
