This place has moved locations multiple times and it still is awful despite better locations and facilities. The service is the worst part. The food is average but it takes 40 minutes to get drinks, when the drinks do finally come they taste awful, and the chips have to be refilled at least 5 times. We started off with chips and guac, chips were freshly fried, thick, crispy. Just needed a hint of salt and it would've been perfect for me. The guac was on point, even my friends 2 year old ate it and he hates anything green. I opted for the American tacos today, which comes with cheese, lettuce and tomatoes. You have the option of corn or flour tortillas, pressed, grilled and made in house. The meat were well seasoned and moist, but the star was the pastor! I loved the fresh pineapple, hit it with some of that smokey, but sweet red chili salsa, it was fire! The corn tortilla had a hard time holding up against the salsa, but man, the flour tortilla was amazing. Has a nice little chew, I can load it up with salsa and it held up nicely until the very last bite. Alivia Ashburn-Townsend had the steak quesadilla, honestly, I wanted to know what the fuss was about, it's just meat and cheese... Now I can see why everybody loved their quesadilla so much. The homemade flour tortilla and the mix of different Mexican cheeses, it was perfection. Just give me that, I dont even need meat! I am a little jealous that I didn't order that. The owner was very personable, came by and spoke to every patron. She let us try the sopapillas. Deep fried crispy flour tossed in cinnamon brown sugar, drizzled with honey, and chocolate syrup and topped with vanilla ice cream. I don't eat a lot of sweets or fried stuff but it was good. Extremely unprofessional & disappointing. I have eaten here before with no complaints. BUT, last Sunday Green Ghost confirmed they would be at All The Pretty Things Bridal Expo at The Sheraton on Flowood AND no showed. At first they ghosted (pun intended) the host/creator of the event. The day before they finally confirmed they would be there. Keep in mind, we trusted them and we're counting on them to provide lunch for 48+ wedding vendors and 500 guests. They did not contact us beforehand, the day of, or afterwards to let anyone know why they did not show up. I reached out to them Tuesday to find out what happened. I got no apology or explanation. I was offhandedly told by the manager or owner (not sure which one I spoke to) that he would let the food truck guy know. Just in case I contacted the food truck guy personally, Cesar Torres, he did not answer my phone call so I left a voicemail. He texted me and asked how he could help me. I told him I left him a voicemail and to let me know when he got it. No reply. All this to say, they have good food - but I would not trust them to show up to any event. Personally, I like food that has flavor in it & not having the need to to keep adding hot sauce to make it good. Here, I had to depend on the hot sauce to add flavor to my empanadas because the chicken was not marinated at all & while the sauce on the outside was good, it was definitely not enough. My friend got the tortas, which she said had more pineapples than the pork. We also had the Tamarindo drink, which was absolutely disgusting. While my friend thought it was unlike any other tamarindo drink she's ever had (in a bad way). We wanted to get the horchata but that is what we had to get instead. If you like not too spicy food, then this is your place to go. If you like food with flavor & spice, then don't waste your time. read more

My family and I came in today for lunch around 1. We were very pleased with the service we received from our waitress ash! The chips we're a crispy corn tortilla that are mine and my husbands favorite! I ordered an urban bowl that was perfectly put together and the flavor was amazing! My husband had the steak fajitas and the aroma we got from them left us drooling lol Ash was very respectful and generous! One of the best waitresses we've come across. My reason for visiting was to try churros for the first time, however I also ordered a shrimp taco which turned out to be the highlight of my visit. I ordered Togo online which was VERY convenient. The churros were okay. I ordered Caramel churros but I didn't quite taste Caramel and it had the consistency of warmed peanut butter although I knew it wasn't. The shrimp taco was very delicious and flavorful. I will be back for the tacos and possibly try other items from the menu. read more

I recently have had to cut rice and gluten out of my diet and the waitresses were so helpful .. they even let me order bell peppers instead of chips to dip salsa with. They were not upfront about fees. They charge you to use your card. We went for a birthday celebration and they put an extra $15.89 on everyone's ticket without telling us. They said it was to help with the waitress for serving us. We had one waitress for 20 people, she didn't take good orders for and hour. There were several wrong orders. If we are going to pay a room fee for sitting in a section then we should have good service and no mistakes. They did not tell me on my ticket that I would be charged for using my card but then swiped it for more than my bill. Wrong on so many levels read more

While staying at the Homewood Suites by Hilton right across the street, trying this spot was a must! The Happy Plate (shrimp add chicken) is simple but delicious! The Hawaiian was different and comes with potatoes but very tasty. The strawberry margarita was great! During this stay we ordered online and received a 15% off coupon which was very nice. Really amazing food! Authentic Mexican food something I haven't had in a long time! I got tacos Al Pastor and they were absolutely amazing! I also got carnitas taco and that was also awesome! My husband got a Torta and the smashed potatoes on the side were the best thing ever! But my all time favorite things were the black beans and the salsa verde! Gave this place a shot on a whim and I'm glad we did we will be back for sure!!! We have been back a few times now and are obsessed with the Carne Asada Fries! Normally I have great experiences here. A few weeks ago, I was missing them during the pandemic, so I called the restaurant asking what their covid precautions were. The woman on the phone told me everyone was wearing masks and practicing social distancing. This was an outright lie. When i got to the restaurant, no tables were closed off and not a single staff member was wearing a mask. When i mentioned it to a waitress, she stared at me blankly like I was the one acting stupid. Two weeks later, the internet tells me a staff member tested positive so they closed down, and will re-open for curbside pickup only. What a surprise read more
