Came here many years later and while I'm still a fan of the concept--cheap sliders and basically budget tapas, I left the place feeling slightly dissatisfied and my stomach hurt. My sister has been here a few times and always went on about the food. We were out and about today and I suggested stopping here for lunch. I had no idea that the menu was only sliders as I am not a big fan (same with small plates). There were five of us and we each ordered two sliders plus an order of fries for each. The fries came out fairly promptly, and we sat there looking at them not knowing whether we should eat them or wait for the sliders. Four of us ordered regular fries and one ordered Cajun, and when they were brought out, they were set down on the end of the table, and we were told to sort out for ourselves who got what. About 15 minutes later, the sliders came out after we had finally started eating and finished the french fries (which were good although small portion sized). I told the server that I generally prefer to have my sides delivered with my main dish, and she said that they were a small restaurant with a small kitchen and that everything was à la cart, so they deliver food when it's ready. I told her I had been at many à la carte restaurants in my life, but I've never had food brought out like that before. Reading the other reviews, other people have had the same complaint, so maybe they should start telling people this fact. Each of us got different sliders, and again the server just set them at the end of the table and told us to sort out who got what. As far as the quality of the sandwiches, well, they were nothing to write home about. Needless to say, I have no desire to go back. An additional point is that when we arrived, we had to wait for a table, and were directed to the patio in the back. It was a cold winter day with temperatures around 20°, and the patio was comfortable, so I didn't understand why they couldn't put some patio heaters out there and pick up some extra seating. Went on a Saturday, first time even hearing of this place but I was pleasantly surprised. Upon arrival, was told it was a 20/30 minute but it was more like 15/20 minutes. We were seated, and took a look at the menu. All the food was under 5 dollars which was very cool. I ordered 2 Chicken Caesar sliders and 1 Impossible Burger. The food came very fast and was hot. I love that all sliders were on a soft fluffy bread and all ingredients were fresh. It was just okay for me, great experience but not mind blowing. I had a great time here! The weight is often really long. The last time I went in the weight was over two hours and I wasn't able to stay. I am so glad I came back and tried again! We came in the afternoon so the wait was only about 15 minutes. The drinks are pretty cheap and there are so many different types of burgers you can try. I personally loved the Reuben! Our server was great and even gave us a few suggestions like adding bacon to the PB&J. I highly recommend the truffle fries they didn't even need a dipping sauce. This spot has been on my list for about 3 years. My expectations were higher than normal. It was good, not great. Prices were fair, many flavorful options, even dessert sliders. The thing is.. I ordered just about everything. My bill before tip was nearly 50 dollars and I did not order anything but the main event which was food! The double cheeseburger was disappointing, I thought the lamb special lacked flavor, the Cajun fries were crispy and they look seasoned but they were just okay. The fish fry and the chicken cesar were definitely the highlights of the meal. Just based off dinner, 3.5 stars. But the dessert slider I had which was a smore they served unsurprisingly on a roll instead of a graham cracker. It was honestly really good in a simple way. I'd do that at home. Not for me, but I get the appeal - having a host of different sliders to try for ~$4 each is a fun novelty plus where else can you wash it down with a $4 beer these days? I just felt the food didn't taste very good. It was ~45 minutes to be seated during non peak hours but luckily they have a covered waiting area in the back with picnic tables and a separate bar. Once seated, service was quick and ambiance was lively. I enjoyed the Christmas Ale they had on tap but others in my group who ordered cocktails were disappointed. For food, I decided to try the pork belly slider and cuban slider but wouldn't order them again. The best thing I ate was probably the fries and the kale salad, although it was pretty basic. Came here on a Wednesday around 6pm and they were busy but not crazy...the host was very nice and willing to seat me without the rest of my party present (they have a sign that you cannot be seated without your full party). We ordered the mystery meat(duck), Korean, corn beef, and gyro along with the venison chili cheese fries along with the bread pudding for desert. All items were delicious. Out of three of us, I thought they went a little heavy on the sauces but the others did not mind this, thus the stack of napkins that are available on the table. It was a busy 4:00 Saturday with a 40 minute wait. There were 7 of us. Luckily we were able to wait in back bar area and have drinks. Hostess was great. Beers were good. Fries were fine. Food brought out sporadically by different servers but that's okay. It's just that the sliders weren't anything special to us. They sound interesting but flavor and quality lacking. For a cocktail I had an Old Fashioned and for the price I had to try it but it was VERY watered down I definitely wouldn't get another one. We stopped here for Detroit Dinner Week/Let's Do Dinner on a Friday night. They had a special for $20 where you get 2 sliders, 2 sides, and a dessert. I got the fried chicken slider and the mystery meat which was a flank steak with fried sweet potato strings and a chimichurri aioli for my sliders, truffle fries and mac & cheese for my sides, and bread pudding for my dessert. I honestly wasn't too impressed with the food. The fried chicken slider was overwhelmingly sweet and all I was able to taste was the maple syrup. I am a big truffle fry fan and these were just wayyyy too salty and they hurt the roof of my mouth, plus they had forgotten them and we had to ask our waitress where they were. It was definitely very very busy and she had a lot of tables and the food runners just grab things as they come out so I can understand the chaos. The mac and cheese was tasty though and the s'mores that my boyfriend ordered was just marshmallow fluff and nutella on a slider bun which I thought was funny lol. However, we waited quite a while before even being acknowledged by our server and then only after wasting on a large table that came in after us. The ambience is cute but tight.
