The menu lists them all, and you select one by one, along with options for different types of french fries. There are a couple other options, too, including a cup of clam chowder. Some favourite sliders we tried: BCT, Fish Fry, Corned Beef, Fried Chicken, Cuban, and truffle fries. The Cuban and Fried Chicken (with syrup) were extra good. Green Dot Stables, located in the Corktown neighborhood of Detroit, was previously a dive bar from the 70's until 2011. After being closed a year the new owners opened it back up as a craft slider "bar". There is nothing fancy about this restaurant. Its decor is basic wood tables and chairs in the center with booths lining one side of the space and a bar on the other. The staff are casual about you being there - there is no fanfare. When we arrived, we checked in at the host stand to get our names on the wait list. They text you when your table is ready. The place was full when we got there but the turnover was quick. We didn't wait more than 10 minutes and were seated in a booth. The menu is all sliders on one side and fries, salads, and sweets on the other. Fairly simple and the prices are beyond reasonable. The server told us most people get 3 sliders and fries. I did that plus I got a Moscow Mule to drink - it was only $5! I chose the Double Cheeseburger, Spicy Crispy Chicken (with a slice of provolone added), Olive Burger, and the Truffle Fries. Everything is served as soon as it's made so your items arrive at different times, which was fine by me. Each slider was served in its own cardboard "dish". Again, nothing fancy. The Olive Burger was really good - served with green olives and cheese on top of a beef burger. I liked the saltiness of the olives - it added to the total taste in a positive way. The Double Cheeseburger was actually pretty big so I would just get the single next time. And the Spicy Crispy Chicken was recommended by our server. He suggested adding the provolone slice, which I did. That was basically a buffalo chicken sandwich. And it was good! The truffle fries were excellent - you could really taste the truffle seasoning/oil. I also liked that they were the skinny type of fries. Had a great dinner last night with my family. My kids had a great time selecting their sliders and being creative. The fried chicken was a favorite at our table since it also had a drizzle of maple syrup (ala chicken and waffles.) I heard the guys behind me order a PB&J with bacon so I ordered one as well. That was a fun flavor profile, too. The Cajun fries weren't my favorite. I know there are a lot of reviews raving about them so I decided to try them. But, it's just a really heavy dusting of Cajun seasoning on top of them. No subtlety to the seasoning at all. The ambience hasn't changed over the years. First of all, I'd give this place 3.5 stars if it were possible, definitely not a 4, it just didn't live up to the hype. We got the double cheeseburger, Philly cheesesteak, fried chicken, Cuban, pork belly and fried chicken Caesar. We also got Cajun fries, Poutine , chili cheese fries and Mac and cheese. The double cheeseburger was typical and good. Fried chicken Caesar was good, We liked the dressing Pork belly was disappointing and bland Cheesesteak was just ok Fried chicken was good The Cuban was one of the better ones For the sides, we liked the thin fries, with Cajun and poutine being our favorites. I didn't care for the venison chili cheese fries, but the others liked it. The Mac and cheese was so bland, even some salt and pepper would have made it better, but it wasnt on the table and our server wasn't around to ask for it. Not for me, but I get the appeal - having a host of different sliders to try for ~$4 each is a fun novelty plus where else can you wash it down with a $4 beer these days? I just felt the food didn't taste very good. It was ~45 minutes to be seated during non peak hours but luckily they have a covered waiting area in the back with picnic tables and a separate bar. Once seated, service was quick and ambiance was lively. I enjoyed the Christmas Ale they had on tap but others in my group who ordered cocktails were disappointed. Went on a Saturday, first time even hearing of this place but I was pleasantly surprised. Upon arrival, was told it was a 20/30 minute but it was more like 15/20 minutes. I had a great time here! The weight is often really long. The last time I went in the weight was over two hours and I wasn't able to stay. I am so glad I came back and tried again! We came in the afternoon so the wait was only about 15 minutes. The drinks are pretty cheap and there are so many different types of burgers you can try. I personally loved the Reuben! Our server was great and even gave us a few suggestions like adding bacon to the PB&J. I highly recommend the truffle fries they didn't even need a dipping sauce. Came here on a Wednesday around 6pm and they were busy but not crazy...the host was very nice and willing to seat me without the rest of my party present (they have a sign that you cannot be seated without your full party). I came here for a late lunch and sat at the bar. I'm a shortie and even I have to note that the bar stools sit suuuupeeeer low lol. The clam chowder came with a drizzle of sriracha which was unexpected but actually complemented the chowder very well! I paid my bill but mingled for a while after and ended up deciding I wanted something sweet so I ordered a s'more. I was super disappointed when it arrived to see that it was marshmallow and chocolate melted and encased on a toasted slider bun. I did taste it to give it a try and nope it was not good. We stopped here for Detroit Dinner Week/Let's Do Dinner on a Friday night. They had a special for $20 where you get 2 sliders, 2 sides, and a dessert. I honestly wasn't too impressed with the food. The fried chicken slider was overwhelmingly sweet and all I was able to taste was the maple syrup. I am a big truffle fry fan and these were just wayyyy too salty and they hurt the roof of my mouth, plus they had forgotten them and we had to ask our waitress where they were. It was definitely very very busy and she had a lot of tables and the food runners just grab things as they come out so I can understand the chaos. The mac and cheese was tasty though and the s'mores that my boyfriend ordered was just marshmallow fluff and nutella on a slider bun which I thought was funny lol. Definitely a cute place, loved all of the decor and the horse races on the TVs. It might be more worth it if I had just ordered off the regular menu.
