YUM!!! Really enjoyed my lunch at Green Chili Love. Really cool that they let you sample heat levels on the green chilis before you order. From Mild to Super hot. The Smashed Green Chili Burger and Green Chili Frys were outstanding. A+++ Rating

Owner! He's so friendly and welcoming

Was great to try something new so close to home. Met the owner and he was super kind and passionate. The ambiance is quaint and cozy and open for hanging out with friends. I came a couple times to try out different foods. I'm vegetarian now so was easy to navigate. Green chile homemade salsa was nice and tangy, loved the eggs, potatoes and cheese tacos not corn and flour and the burros. With the welcoming vibes I'll be back over and over again! Come decide for yourself. I believe they have a Food truck as well so ASK about it when you go there!

Customer service is awesome, the ambiance is inviting, the food is delicious. Amazing light flavors! I was expecting something different With the texture of the eggs and potatoes in the bowl. Definitely different from the burrito. Will I come back again? Of course. I need to try more.

Had the Mexican Hamburger Handheld with a side of fries and guacamole. The burger was so unbelievably juicy, tasty, and filling. Im stuffed now-- food coma time!

Customer service is excellent, food was or is Great! I will be back, for more try outs. Had the lunch special green chile cheeseburger

Supposed to be a green chili pork breakfast burrito. Where is the pork? It had great flavor, but don't feel like I got what I paid for.

Great flavor, but where is the pork? Ordered a green chili with pork breakfast burrito. Little to no meat.

The food was so authentic and super tasty. I have been there multiple times and tried various dishes. From chicken taco salad to the green chilly wrapped burger everything is yummy. Highly recommend it and the owner is very friendly and genuine. We can't wait to go back.

Never been to the brick and mortar but visited food truck in the past. Pleasantly surprised to have the owner at the counter. So fun to talk with him. Food was fantastic and heat was appropriate. Green hatch Chiles are perfectly balanced in the food. While waiting, I was offered water or coffee. Price was great because it was lunch and a mid afternoon snack. Definitely going back!!

Happy Hour is daily with $3 off all appetizers (not just selected as the menu says) in addition to drink specials. We ordered a few apps to share and had: - Chips with Guacamole and Salsa: solid - Queso Fundido: I was excited for this as friends have said they liked it, but the cheese harden within minutes and it wasn't as nice - Street Style Esquites: I was expecting more corn rather than mixed in another cheese dip and likewise, the cheese harden quickly. - Shrimp cocktail: it was pretty heavy on the liquid rather than thicken, but good - 3 potato tacos: okay, wasn't expected it to be fried so it was a bit greasy but loved the slaw it came with - Southwest egg roll: not bad, was a crowd's favorite and I liked the sauce it came with We didn't realize most of the apps came with tortilla chips otherwise we may have ordered differently. I got the frozen margarita and it was a bit sweet, but nice for the summer evening. Our server wasn't super attentive, but was nice whenever they came around. There's a sampler entree platter I'd like to try, but of all the appetizers we tried, the best was probably the chips with guacamole and salsa.

The heat level is bold (in the best way) and everything is so flavorful and fresh. I especially love the roast pork, but really, everything we've tried--from the cheese crisps to the combo plates--has been consistently delicious. If you go, definitely order "Christmas style" with both red and green salsa. The hospitality is always warm and welcoming, too. We used to live in AZ and came as often as we could, and now it's the one place we always make sure to visit whenever we're back in town. We always order extra tortillas to freeze and take home to savor until our next trip back, and we plan on ordering tamales to ship for the holidays! Can't wait until our next visit!

The flavors were off and nothing tasted like the real thing. To make matters worse, I specifically asked our waiter if a certain dish was spicy because we were dining with our child. He assured me it wasn't spicy at all. It absolutely was, and our child couldn't even eat it. Then my child's quesadilla came out without the sides that were supposed to come with it. We had to ask about it after everyone else was already eating. Between the misleading information, missing food, and lack of authentic New Mexican dishes, this was a very disappointing experience. Definitely won't be coming back.

I likes it here enough that I had two meals there and stopped another time just for drinks. They have a fairly large dining area and also seats at the bar. We…read morewere sat and waited for our server Donte to show up and I don't know if he was new but man he was not a good server. We first ordered drinks my wife got a traditional margarita and I got the jalapeño pineapple margarita. I mean there were ok but definitely have had better. The cups they served it in is not the appropriate cups for this drink. Along with the drinks came the chips and salsa which were surprisingly good. Now the food. My wife ordered the chimichanga with red sauce and i ordered shrimp tacos. Nearly 35 mins later and 2 basket of chips gone our food arrives. Her chimichanga was covered in green sauce not red like she ordered and my shrimp tacos were inedible. The shrimp was sooo hard I literally couldn't pull them apart and the crunch I heard while I tried to chew it (which is a clear indicator that it's way over cooked) grossed me out. When my waiter finally came around, after stopping at the table behind us and the 2 tables in front of us, I let him know how bad these tacos were. He took my food and exchanged it for birria tacos. I didn't have to wait long before my tacos arrived. Again they were good but not great. So as we finished our dinner the waiter was nowhere to be found. 11 mins later he comes outside where we were sitting didn't acknowledge us and once again went to the other tables around us. He does whatever it is the other patrons asked him to and goes back inside. When he comes back out he had a tray of drinks dropping them off at the previous tables mentioned and then once again heads back inside. Luckily I grabbed his attention prior him to completing going inside and asked him for a box. Now I was in the food business for almost 16 years and managed servers in those 16 years. Most servers understand when a patron asks for a box to go that usually means they're done and ready to go, so naturally you'd think as he's retrieving the box you'd bring the check. Nope not Donte he brings the box and walks away. Comes back later to pick up the dirty dishes and continues to walk away again, I had to tell him we wanted our check. With all the choices in downtown for food and drink id avoid this one for sure. To think we were up in the air between this place and Arrogant Butcher. Clearly we chose wrong. And one more thing when food gets returned for whatever reason a manager should make an appearance. Nope not here

Blanco seemed like it would be a good choice, however I enjoyed it more than I anticipated. Sitting at the bar, service was pretty good. The bartenders were busy making drinks at times, but overall were attentive. The queso was delicious! We started with the appetizer sized serving and the chips were very good with a thick texture and good crunch. We saved some of the queso, intending to use it for dipping with the mixed grill fajitas we split. I will put that queso on anything, it's tasty! On the mixed grill fajitas platter, the carne asada was the item we enjoyed the least. The shrimp was definitely my favorite. Perfectly juicy and grilled, and had a great sauce over the top, it's labeled as spicy but I didn't find it to be too spicy, it just had a good flavor. The chicken was very juicy and then the steak was okay. I would definitely come back to try the short rib tacos, as other reviewers said were pretty tasty. Blanco reminded me of yummy Tex-Mex restaurants I've had in Texas, although its description is Sonoran Mexican food. Maybe it depends on the dish ordered. Either way, both are delicious food styles. And my rating reflected my overall enjoyment of the green chili queso, fresh chips & salsa, and juicy shrimp. I think the difference between 4-5 stars for me, comes down to having a nice ambiance, attentive service, and some items standing out. My cocktail was decent, however I wouldn't order that particular margarita again, I don't love mescal but I keep trying drinks that have it because I do like cocktails that have a note of the mescal flavor not the predominant taste. I did check with the bartenders before I ordered it and let them know, they said it's mild mescal taste, but I think it was pretty strong. We had missed happy hour by coming in 530pm, it ends at 5pm. I'd like to come back next time for HH. And thank goodness they are smart enough to provide free 2 hour parking in the Novus garage close by . That makes so much sense for customers. Some reviewers said the restaurant doesn't have any parking options besides valet. That isn't correct, just park at the appropriate garage and ask the staff for a validation ticket to scan when leaving.

I split time between Phoenix and Rhode Island, so every time I'm back here, this place ends up on the list. This trip, I brought the extended family along, first timers across the board. No hesitation. They got it immediately. We always start with the Machaca pizza. That's non-negotiable. It comes out hot, loaded with flavor, and just enough heat to wake you up without knocking you over. It sets the tone. You know exactly what kind of meal you're about to have. Last night I went with the Relleno Dinner with the garlic pulled pork, and it was ridiculous in the best way. Rich, smoky, layered with flavor, and yes, it brings heat. Not gimmicky heat. Not "let's see how spicy we can make this" heat. Real, intentional, built-into-the-dish kind of heat. The kind that actually belongs there. And that brings me to the complaints I keep seeing. "It's too hot." Come on. Their slogan is literally "Some Like It Hot." That's the whole point. You don't walk into a place like this expecting mild salsa and a side of bottled hot sauce. This is not that. This is bold, unapologetic, New Mexican-style cooking that doesn't water itself down for anyone. If you want toned-down, there are a hundred other places in Phoenix happy to oblige. Service has always been on point. Friendly, efficient, and comfortable. Not stiff, not rehearsed. Just people who know what they're doing and keep things moving without making it feel rushed. What I respect most is the consistency. I've worked my way through most of the menu over the years, and I've never walked out disappointed. Not once. That's rare. The place has a personality, and it doesn't bend. It knows exactly what it is, and it executes it every single time. I highly recommend it. And if history holds, I'll probably be back within the week.
