The prices are reasonable especially for the portion sizes. They are so generous! Saw one customer order the tinga burrito and it was massive! I ordered the taco salad with shredded beef. It was delicious! My boyfriend got the surf and turf fries and he loved it. Oscar's was quite generous with ingredients. First time trying this place and it's safe to say it was our last. We walked up to the counter to order and I let the lady know it was our first time there and asked couple of questions... the lady looked like she could not be bothered. We ordered and 10 minutes later she brought our food. There was soooo much shredded cheese on the plate which made me think what are they trying to cover. Immediately we noticed both our orders were completely wrong. I mean how do you mix up ground beef and chicken? And I specifically repeated that I wanted a cheese enchilada. I got chicken enchilada instead. The food was cold and honestly it was so bad! I took one bite and that was it for me. Where do I begin? I've been seeing these Instagram videos of their Surf n Turf burritos being made and they always pull at my stomach strings! They look so darn good. So I told myself I had to try it one day soon. Well, today after my motorcycle trip to Canyon Lake I decided to stop by since it was on my way home. Yes, I ordered the Surf n Turf burrito. I received my ordered hand delivered in about ten minutes, which is not bad. I immediately cut my burrito in half so I could show you all. It was kind of a loose burrito. It did not look anything like the Instagram video. Next was the first bite! Again a loose burrito where ingredients wanted to fall into the styrofoam container. The carne asada was cut too small and possibly overcooked because the meat was so tuff and chewy, it made my jaw sore from chewing and chewing. I ate half the burrito and I only came across two shrimp. The other half fortunately contained the other four shrimp. I had intended on taking my other half a burrito home. But it didn't go that way. Food is good. Fries were average. I'm not a huge fan of fries though. The carne asada tortas were delicious and different. My parents liked their food. Cashier was slow. They have some issues to work on. I had to wait 10-15 minutes for the cashier to help the large group before me while my order was sitting out behind the counter. Excellent service with authentic Mexican food that is always a great deal. One of the better salsa bars with a great selection- including fresh peppers, onions, carrots, cucumbers, radish, and limes! Food is so FIRE! definitely recommend the Al pastor taco, they fill the taco so much and it comes with two tortillas so you literally get 2 tacos for the price of one, not only that, it's loaded with GUAC and pico, they also have a SALSA BAR, limes, cucumber, many different salsas, onion jalepenos. They also have daily specials only listed in store, but not online. $2.75 extra stuffed tacos (not street taco size.. BIGGER!) for taco Tuesday. Definitely recommend stopping in! I ordered lunch online today for pickup. This time I got the chicken asada burrito. It comes with chicken, pico & guacamole. I added sour cream, beans & cilantro. My work is just down the street. I left & when I got there it was only a couple minutes before my order was ready. The bag was heavy for just a burrito. The burrito was huge & fat! It was full of chicken and the other stuff. They wrap it in aluminum foil to keep it warm. I was going to take a picture, but I was so hungry I started eating it. By the time I thought to take a pic I was already 6 bites in. I could only eat half of it. I brought the other half home. Should make for a good lunch this weekend. The place was packed, so ordering online is the way to go. Plus you earn rewards. We stopped in to give it a try. I ordered a chicken quesadilla which ended up being more like a burrito. It was very good, but not at all like what you think of when quesadilla comes to mind. We went there on cinco de mayo and while yes, it's a busy day for taco shops, this experience was awful to say the least. Not only did it take 50 minutes for 6 tacos, but the gentleman handing over the food was an absolute prick about it and yelled at us for commenting on the long period of time that we had to wait. As a customer, I get you're very busy and you have a mass amount of tickets but respectfully, that's not our problem. It would be smart and beneficial to let your customers know BEFORE they order that the kitchen is backed up and it'll be a long wait, with some what accurate estimates, so we can make an educated decision on whether or not to wait and your kitchen staff won't be so stressed out. The drive thru was ignored and backed up with very angry customers, the lids for drinks were out, the small cups for the toppings bar were out. The tacos were good but we'll never be back. They had an Oscar's location by my old apartment and I would used to love getting their breakfast burritos but they ended up closing that location. I saw that this location just somewhat recently opened in Tempe and I finally got a chance to try it. I got their carne asada burrito and while it wasn't the best carne asada it definitely was a better quality and value than most places. A little over 10 bucks for a decently sized burrito and the tortilla is wonderful. It's nice that they have a drive thru too. The green salsa could use some help but the red one was tasty with a good amount of spice. I gotta come back to try their breakfast burrito again though! Prices on the drive thru menu and what you're actually charged are different! The large menu states that 5 street tacos are 9.99, there's a paper menu attached to the main menu that states 5 street tacos w drink is 11.25. I ordered the 5 without a drink and the lady said that isn't an option. I told her it's clearly on the menu in huge letters and she said you're now forced to buy a drink. They need to change their menu if their menu has changed. Also, the time I went before this, they forgot half my order and I had to drive back. This place is amazing like their other location. They have both dine in and drive through options, which is super convenient if you are headed to or from work. Every option I've had is amazing with fresh ingredients. I lean towards the Fish and Carnitas burritos. Their tacos are really good as well, and of course they have Taco Tuesday specials. read more
