This place is confusing, although pictures look great, it lacks ambiance, right as we entered a strong smell of pinesol or floor cleaner. You order as a fast food restaurant but they bring the food to you, weird, their menus is mostly made of the birria which tasted ok, but portions are small compared to the prices, My son's carne asada burrito had American cheese, tomatoes and lettuce, served with fries he said it tasted like a burger, wonder why...most of their dishes are like a quick snack not a meal, fries, nachos, ramen, Doritos, not authentic at all, it was meh Service was good, food was served as it came out, party of 4 that's a Nono for me, as one person eats as the rest watches. Quiet little spot. Came in around 4pm to get some burritos and tacos for a late lunch. No one else was here. Staff was super nice and helpful. I'm excited to try a burrito with American Cheese although I'm hesitant about it. Also got 1 of each of the street tacos to try. No alcohol. They have tables inside and a little outdoor patio as well. Pepsi products. The street tacos were $2ea today for taco Tuesday . Love them. 2 bites perfect for a snack or if you're not too hungry. But the burrito is a better bet if you're hungry. Their red sauce is definitely hot I'll stick with the green!! They were not as cheesy as I like could barely see the cheese. So lost a star for that. I've wanted to love the Taco Spot for years, but gave it my last try today. After receiving a text for "buy 2 get 1 burrito free" (chicken and al pastor only), I came in to grab 1 chicken and 2 pork burritos. After tax, for 2 burritos (3rd one was free), it was just under $30. When I arrived home, I was disappointed. Largely rice and beans, minimal meat. Not a great burrito. Even the tortilla chips were not good. I'm not sure when burritos became $15, but I won't be getting them from Taco Spot again. If I'm going to pay $15 for a burrito (which is absurd to begin with), there are places where the value is better. 2 stars for friendly staff and super clean location. read more

I really wanted to like this place, but my hunt continues for a goo chicken burrito. I just want grilled white meat, cheese, pico & sour cream. I ordered pick up for lunch. I ordered the chicken burrito with no lettuce or beans and add sour cream, and chips & pico. The restaurant was clean. The person behind the counter was friendly and nice. That's where the good ended. I got back to work & took a bite of my burrito to discover I received a chicken burrito with lettuce and no sour cream that I paid extra for. I don't like Lett in my burrito. The rice was mushy, what small chicken pieces there were in the burrito had no flavor. The American cheese is not shredded, it's a couple of small pieces of sliced cheese. I tried to eat it, but after a couple of bites I couldn't. It was the nastiest burrito I've ever had. They had a two for one burrito special but the burritos had almost no meat in them. It was all basically rice and beans for 15 bucks.

The food is very tasty...but a little overpriced! We ordered the carne asada tacos and birria taco meal. Each came with three street tacos and the carne asada came with sides while the birria only came with the soup. The three birria taco meal came out to around $18. Music plays very loud so it is a bit hard to sit down and hold a conversation. We appreciated that it was open later (closed at 11 pm). I went to use the bathroom and the toilet had a couple of stains on it. While the food was SO delicious, I'm not sure if the value is worth the price. read more

Two stars because I like the food. I'm a big fan of the ramen, birria, and also the carne tacos. However, it's so dirty and gross inside. I went here over the weekend, and it smelled like cleaner but incredibly strong. The tables were all dirty. The floor was wet in random places. Who mops in the middle of the day on the weekend? We decided to eat outside since the smell was pretty unappetizing. Food was good. However it's hard to enjoy it so much when the restaurant itself feels gross. After we had our meal, we went inside to throw away our trash. The inside was still messy, wet, and smelly. They couldn't finish cleaning up in the 20-30 minutes we were there? This was the worst experience I've had at a taco shop in a long time. The fryer was broken so half the menu was out. Everything was way overpriced. I had the carne asada tacos. The meat was an odd light brown color and dry. They load up the tortilla with so much lettuce day old tomatoes that you can't tell how little meat is in it. It also hides that their cheese is a sandwich single slice. The tables were filthy,yet employees were standing around doing nothing. Their menu is an issue too. It doesn't indicate if anything is gluten free or at least mention whether the tacos are served with corn or flour. The girl at the front had no idea what the heck I was talking about. The order for my family of 5 was like $80. I should have taken my family to a real taco shop. It would have been half the price with better food. What a surprise! This place was super authentic and tasty. We stopped in because Birria Ramen sounded amazing with this colder weather and it was actually delicious! I saw they also had vampiros and Jugos Naturales so we got a Jamaica Juice. So good! The device was great and the cashier helped us to choose some of the most popular items. It was not too busy but we came at an off time. They also have keto (cheese) tacos and healthier options. It was quiet and it was great for a quick bite! Came here directly from the airport, prior to the hotel, had to see the hype around the birria ramen, and it did not disappoint. The birria ramen is to die for, the right amount of oil, cilantro, cebolla, and like on the side, with massive chunks of birria. I got the combo with the ramen and 2 birria tacos, the birria tacos were good, not the best I've had, but solid good tacos. If I make it back to this spot I'm definitely trying the tortas, the pics online for the tortas look divine. On Tuesdays they do $2 street tacos, which is a great deal. We actually were trying to visit a different establishment in the center, but they weren't open yet so in we go here. The interior is cute with bright colors and cute neon signs. The menu is limited and kinda pricey for what you get. The portions are on the small side and mostly rice. I got a burrito bowl and hubby got a burrito. The biggest disappointment was that the food was cold. We only live a couple of miles away so it should've been hot. You can tell it wasn't given to us hot. The food bland and hubby said the orange sauce tasted gross. Luckily I had some green Chile salsa from Costco that I put on mine. Service was slow and we were the only people in there. Everything always tastes great, however, the portions are tiny compared to what they charge. The amount that you pay for what you get is ridiculous. That's their quesadilla. Smaller than the palm of my hand. That tiny thing off of my pinky is a street taco that they charge almost $4 for. A Barbie taco for $4? If you order for two, and you want to feel satisfied and not full, be prepared to spend at least $80. read more

The restaurant was undergoing a remodel so the smell of "new" was strong. That didn't take away from the delicious food. I've been wanting to try Birria Ramen for a while and took the plunge. Delish! Very generous servicing; I needed a to go top for my ramen container but they don't have any. We improved with some foil and a rubber band. That is my only criticism. We went here on a Saturday afternoon to only grab a few tacos because we had already ordered next door but wanted to try this place too. We ordered 2 asada tacos and 2 birria tacos. When we opened the tacos, we saw that we received 2 chicken and 2 birria. The total was $14 and change for the tacos which I felt was pricey given that they were tiny street tacos. We waited like 30 minutes for them and people who ordered after us got their orders first but there weren't many people inside. The tacos were good and so was the salsa, the servings are just super small. It was clean and organized inside. It has a cute telephone booth for pics. There are stacks of ramen in the middle of the floor that look like a wall which threw us off because we almost leaned on them and knocked them over LOL but it's a cute place. read more

Food was edible, but extremely underwhelming. I ordered the birria tacos, asada tacos, asada quesadilla. Birria tacos were bland, the birria soup tasted alright, but it had a water taste as if they watered it down too much. Asada tacos aren't asada, it was ground beef with diced tomatoes and iceberg lettuce. Asada quesadilla was good but nothing special. I paid $46 for two combos and a quesadilla, definitely not worth that. This place is charging high quality prices, but the food is on par with Filiberto's or del taco.
