Will come again I got the shrimp cocktail and ultra great customer service. Definitely recommend
Happy we stopped in for happy hour. Our sever was very attentive and our food came out correctly and hot! Although these were all good experiences, I must admit I wasn't "blown away" hence the 3 star rating. Again, our meal was good, just not above and beyond
Yum!! Stopped in and their food is so good! Although the outside isn't much, the inside is cozy. The staff were super friendly. The price point to ratio is spot on. The queso will have you dreaming about it as it's just that good. Everything was cooked to perfection and seasoned well.

I went on Saturday around 5:30p. There were t many people there so we were seated immediately. The restaurant decor was your typical Mexican restaurant decor. The chips and salsa and waitress came immediately and took our drink orders, which, since it was still Happy Hour, we ordered a couple of margaritas. For our entrees we ordered the Chile Relleno Chimichanga which comes smothered in a jalapeño cream cheese sauce which is my favorite and the Buld your own with: Fish taco, Chicken enchilada and Green Corn Tamale. Both dishes came with rice and beans. The food was delicious, that all I can really say. The first bite immediately had me knowing I was going to finish the whole burrito, even though I know I shouldn't have. I've live in Ahwatukee for over 30 years and however long they've been here I never thought to visit, until my sister told me. I wish I'd have gone sooner. Total bill $45 + tip
La Casa de Juana has a tamed down menu to accommodate their clientele and not very authentic. There is nothing wrong with that. It is down the street from my almost 80 year old mother who can't handle chili anymore and her flavor palette is now set on basic. She had the chicken enchiladas and I had a piping hot bowl of albóndigas. Having a very hot bowl of caldo brought me back to my days as a kid where Nana would tell you to eat it so you cool down. Maybe it's psychosomatic, but it does make the heat manageable outside. Mom enjoyed her plate and I have to say the arroz verde is a bit of a surprise. Not anything you would see in most Mexican food joint. It was flavorful and not anything I would have expected. The dining area is very big with a small bar. It is very clean. The only thing that really didn't match with the food and motif is the reggaeton and tropical music playing. This will for sure be on Mom's rotation of places I take her for lunch!
Beautifully decorated restaurant that is inviting. Fantastic service Great daily happy hour that's easy on the budget Complimentary chips and salsa - very mild homemade salsa and loved that the chips weren't overly salted House frozen margaritas on a hot day is the ticket. Queso dip is a bit thick and could be hotter but we enjoyed the taste Refried beans were your typical variety Rice had a great taste and something we both enjoyed Chicken Enchiladas tasted "Americanized" and could have used more sauce (were a bit dry) Creamy chipotle chicken - onions weren't cooked and tasted raw, wasn't creamy at all and chicken tasted as if it was boiled
Food portions were great . Great flavor. Nice open space and the art they display along with the walls are beautiful accent pieces. Customer service was great and they were quick to attend to you. Definitely would come back .
I had very high hopes for this restaurant. The website boasted authentic Mexican food so I was ready to give it a try. First off, the ambiance gets a 5/5. The place was decorated in a way that made it fun to look around. Hand painted murals were everywhere. Service was a 4/5. There was not a lot of people in the restaurant and I feel like it took a decent amount of time for the food to be brought out and the check to be brought. Server was nice though. The food was a 3/5. To start off we got the dip trio (queso, guacamole, and bean dip) and this dish was very underwhelming. It all had a premade taste and texture to it. The queso was very cream cheese forward which struck me as odd, and the beans were thick. Not a typical bean dip consistency. The guacamole looked like cheese and pico were thrown on top and had too smooth of a texture. Like it was blended or premade. Next came the entree. First thing I noticed was the creamy jalapeño sauce I paid extra to be topped on my enchiladas was the exact same sauce that was supposed to be "queso". The beans and guacamole that came on my plate were the same as the beans and guac in the dip trio. Honestly the only thing that made me rate the restaurant this high was the meat. It was seasoned very well and extremely tender. I think the tacos or fajitas would have shone a lot more. Overall, a good ambiance with a lot of potential, but okay for the price.

If you've ever been the victim of flavorless taquitos... If you understand that the Mark of a great Mexican restaurant is the rice and beans... If you love warm ambiance, friendly service and dialed in Mexican food at really great prices this place is for you. Try it out you won't regret it. read more
We came here on a Sunday with family visiting. They picked it because they had been their favorite, now it's a must stop spot when in town for them! Food was good! Drinks were good. It was an early day! Photo ops around the place with the decor. Service was nice and patient with the picky eater we had with us! read more
Stopped by again Recently and food is back up to par. The fajitas were sizzling, the quality of meat was plenty and the food came out quick. Service was friendly and as usual plenty of veggie options outside of a Bean Burrito. Will return again! read more

Love Casa De Juana. Immediately you walk into this welcoming really colorful atmosphere. You can see the owners are really proud of their culture and I love to see that. Their food is great too, they have everything and also accommodating to any changes. I love the chimichanga. I've tried the shrimp chimichangas, which tasted great! I love the jalapeño cream sauce! I usually ask for it on the side, just cause this is my preference. The food is bountiful. I saw that they now offer birria selections. I plan to go back to try this! read more
Quiet and comfortable. This eatery got busy right when we walked in. We were on a time crunch since we only get a 30 minutes lunch and my wife and I wanted to try something new (probably a bad thought process). There was 1, only 1, server in the dinning room. This slowed some of the service, but WOW did she do amazing, she was quick, attentive, and friendly. She did not let her situation get to her and she did not show any stress or let it reflect in her service. The food came out quick and tasted great. read more

This place was great! Loved the colorful atmosphere & the delicious food. Their menu is endless, so many good options to choose from. The margaritas were so good, but make sure to order a better tequila. They accidentally gave us 'the cheap one' and it had no flavor at all. They quickly corrected it before we even realized what happened. The service was super friendly & the only reason we knocked off a star was we'd need to try more (first timers), but everything was delicious. The salsa was excellent. Jalapeños were very hot, carne asada enchiladas & beans were some of the best we've had. read more

Stopped in on national margarita day while waiting on food at green tea. Hubs and I each had a margarita strawberry and mango, respectively. We found seats right away at the bar and had Mauro as our server. He was friendly, fast and offered great service. We made it just after happy hour but the margaritas were still reasonable at just $8. Would visit again and try the food. read more

This is a colorful, cute place to grab some Mexican food. Their menu is large, with all the stuff you would expect: tacos, burritos, enchiladas, chimichangas, fajitas, rice and beans. It's a typical American sit-down Mexican place, with chips and salsa to start and plenty of heavy, savory dishes. They have vegetarian options, good drink deals, and solid service. I always feel like I over eat when I'm here, and I always bring home a little bit of leftovers. Whatever you end up getting, my sisters and I recommend a side of the creamy jalapeño sauce. It's not spicy (most of their food isn't at all) but it's definitely delicious. read more
Tried this once a year ago via delivery and liked it. While put running and finishing errands, I got hungry and decided to stop in for a late lunch and I am happy I did! I love the decor and welcoming feeling of this fine restaurant. I had an awesome waitress who checked on me and kept my drink filled and even gave me a Coke Zero to go as I was leaving! How's that for too-notch service? I got the 2 item Lunch Combo Platter and chose a chili relent and a beef enchilada for my choices and had rice and beans. Very, very delicious and filled me up plus I enjoyed the complimentary chips and salsa you get when you dine in. The dining room was so clean and well stocked and I enjoyed looking at all the Mexican decor throughout the restaurant. This is a local business and I love giving back to local business and do so whenever possible because they work so hard for the customers. This business has been through an emotional time lately as well so I am glad I could dine in and give my support to them. I will definitely return and I recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone! read more

First time! This gem of a place is tucked back into the Fry's plaza off of 40th street and Chandler. Ambiance: 5 Gorgeous visually. I came just past lunchtime during the week so was quiet. Service: 5 The server was kind, courteous, attentive! Cost: 5 Average to other places Food: 4 I tried a couple of my lunchtime favorites bean tostada, cheese enchilada, cheese crisp, fresh guacamole, and some dessert. I gave a 4 because I wish everything was a bit hotter and I don't mean spicy. The cheese crisp was not really crispy and the cheese was not completely melted and the same with my cheese enchilada on the inside. I do hope they do better in the evening. In addition, the Flan Napolitano was actually more Cheesecake than flan. I understand Napolitano is typically right in between traditional Mexican Flan and cheesecake....anyways this was actually straight cheesecake and although it was brown on the top there was no caramel sauce or flavor. Disappointment. However, It could have just been this batch, who knows. It's not enough to keep me away though! I cannot wait to try more menu items on my next visit. The Guacamole was superb! Also had mango on it which just put it to the top of my most favorite place for guacamole now!!!! The spicy salsa was great. Although I did have to request it. I'll be back for more as this is super close for me and the menu is huge with so many options! I will continue to be looking out for more authentic Mexican food places... read more
Absolutely wonderful!! We stopped by for a quick bite and margaritas before doing some grocery shopping and can't wait to come back! Verenice greeted us with a smile and friendly welcome before immediately seating us and grabbing our drink order. She even let us know about happy hour deals which I definitely recommend! I got the Mexican pizza and my bf got an enchilada plate but the real star was the rice and beans!! So flavorful and the interior is so cute!! Verenice's customer care was top shelf! Thank you! read more

Pretty decent Mexican food, spoken by someone who used to know good TexMex but can't find anything resembling good food in Colorado these days. The stuffed sliced jalapeños were different from regular fried jalapeños but still pretty tasty. The chicken and steak fajitas actually tasted like fajitas I remember, which is a very good thing. Chips were good. I didn't care for the salsa, which had oregano in it, but my buddy liked it exactly for that reason. Strong service too. read more
