Green Carpet Care is awesome! I just moved into a new place and noticed the carpet was in need of some serious TLC. I found a great deal on Groupon and made the appointment for a few days later. While I was a little skeptical about leaving a number on a cell voicemail, I got a pretty quick call back and they had great customer service. I called the day of to confirm and they weren't tripping that I would be cutting into the time block because I was coming from work. The deep cleaning went very fast and the results are amazing. Max recommended I do scotch guard on my carpet [a very valid suggestion, as I love red wine] and I couldn't be happier with the results! This review is based on BOOKING ALONE! (There might be an update if this incompetent ass company has the manager call me back) - I called this company to schedule a carpet cleaning on Friday, they agreed to come on Sunday. I asked the girl who booked my appointment to MAKE SURE they came with a TRUCK MOUNTED CARPET CLEANER which she said she would check to see if they had one that could extend 4 levels from the ground (although My garage is on the 3rd level and apartment is not far from garage so the 4 flights technically weren't needed). The girl called me back to CONFIRM that yes they indeed had a long enough hose that could suffice. I get a call the day before my appt to confirm my appt slot which I also asked on the phone abt truck mounted and got another confirmation that it was available and coming for my appt. Day if appt: After waiting alllllll day (appt slot was 12-2) the carpet cleaner (who btw was a very nice guy) shows up with a portable carpet cleaner ‍ Anyway he was nice enough to confirm that a truck mounted cleaner would work for my apartment, and that he would let the company know to call me to sort things out. I ended up calling the company myself to speak on the phone with a child who sounded like she could care less. I asked for a manager; she told me Veronica comes in at 4pm and I should be hearing from her when she gets in. I am now waiting to hear back.. Update coming soon read more

Be careful from this company the are not honest they also go by USA carpet cleaners. They do not use anything but water fir steam cleaning absolutely no solution, if you want that they charge about $150 more just to do they same thing as steam clean but with solution . After I called and spoke to them after the quote they were argumentative and dismissive. Then they called me back saying they were with another company and set up an appointment to have someone come give a quote and do the work. Found this company on Living Social and I'm sad to say I wouldn't use them again. My greatest hesitation about Living Social/Groupon type deals, is when the merchant arrives and tries to upsell you, or worst--tells you that the coupon you have doesn't cover the services you need. That's exactly what happened with Green Carpet Care. When I called to make my appointment, it was a cell phone...so I left a message, and got a call back/voice mail saying that they Could clean our carpets, on our desired date, in the evening. But when I called back minutes later to grab that coveted evening spot, the 1st thing they wanted to know is if I had a Groupon or Living Social deal. When I admitted I did, all of a sudden the evening appointment was not available. Sketch. The day before our appointment, they called and tried to reschedule for the next weekend... since we were such Low Priority Living Social Customers. I politely declined because we would be moved out of the apartment by then. They said they'd call me back, and fortunately did so and kept our original appointment. A young guy came solo to carpet clean our small apartment; I don't recall his name, and don't intend to get anyone in trouble here. But he immediately told us that our less than 1 year old carpet was so dirty that our coupon wouldn't cover his services, and we needed to pay double. In the midst of moving hell & not having time to argue, we paid him the extra $80. He also admitted that we were his 4th appointment of the day, and that everyone else that morning had to pay double too, because everyone's carpet was so filthy that the Living Social deal wasn't enough. The one thing I did appreciate, is that he called to let us know he was on his way prior to our appt. By the way, both his van and his receipt didn't even say Green Carpet Care, it said USA Carpet Clean or something. I wish I could say, in the end, that our carpets were sparkling clean since we paid double. But no, the one high-traffic spot he pointed out, was still darker than the rest of the newish carpet. No special treatment seemed to be given to it, even with our additional payment. I don't know. If I were this company, I would be a little more grateful to the Living Socials and Groupons of the world - thankful for the business they bring. And turn a low-cost client into a RETURNING CLIENT. We Will have carpets again in the future, whether they be apartments, or when we eventually buy our big homes. You'd want to leave a good impression on us so that we call on you every time in the future. read more

Bad carpet cleaning and it stayed wet for 4 days and carpet became dirty and they didn't clean my other rooms. I called to have it redone and they never showed up . They made me move everything for nothing .. I don't recommend this place at all read more

Cleaning technicians max and Lina greeted me with smiling faces and were happy to help me refresh my overdue carpet. They even covered another section that I didn't pay for for FREE! I bought a living social deal they arrive in time. He look around where he would have to clean and I said that I paid for the 2500sq. feet, meaning the whole house, that's what the deal says. He said NO, it is for 6 rooms. Then he was trying to make some extras wanting to clean my rugs said that wasn't included. He offered the deep cleaning. Price was ok. The stairs not very big was $$$ terribly expensive. Anyway, they left and i went to look and the job done was terrible. He did not clean the guest bedroom at all, only the closet. Did not clean under the beds at all. What is the purpose to bring professionals to clean your carpet if they don't clean under the bed????? Overall, my experience wasn't a good one. I no longer want to use their services. I bought the max deal because I want my two rugs cleans as they count as 1 room each rug. read more

I would never recommend this company to anyone they upsell you so much that it's over $100 more than what they said they were going to charge you on the phone. And maybe that wouldn't bother me so much if at the end of it my carpet was clean. They said they couldn't clean my carpet that's only 4 months old and that's the best that they can do. I wanted to use them cuz they're independent but I should have just gone with one of the big companies that could have got the job done properly for probably half the price. Very bad service I had discount from groupon for $39. It was $125. He charged me more deep cleaning for $99. They did not dry the carpet.

Booked a GroupOn with these guys, and they turned up and did the job fine, but the guy doing my cleaning offered me a discount if I left a 5 star review not the company who actually did the cleaning, but his mate's company "Steam Green Carpet Clean" in San Francisco.
