Russell and Daniel cleaned all the carpets and the sectional in our house. They were efficient and thorough. I feel like the deep steaming did wonders for our filthy carpets when I compare the results to previous cleaners. They worked really hard for hours with hardly a break. This was hard work and I really appreciate the care they took. Thank you both! read more

Cleaner Carpets - Comparison while cleaning.... - Carpet Cleaning Near Me - Alameda, California

You can't beat Russell and Daniel from Cleaner Carpets. Yes, you can find a cheaper service, but you'll be sorry you did. I have such peace of mind knowing Russel is on the case (and will be for years to come) He knows he's good. When I asked him why he's a cut above the rest, he said, quite plainly, "I care." Isn't that what you want as a homeowner? Someone who cares about doing the job right? Someone who cares about getting your carpets as clean as they can possibly be? Using the best tools, not leaving a mess, making jokes along the way...? We hadn't cleaned our carpets for a good 10 years. We've got a dog and 2 kids (not to mention kids' friends). The dirt, the grime -- it all came up. What's more, Russell is transparent about what he does. He'll explain it to you and show you why his equipment is superior. He's proud of his work. And he definitely cares. read more

Cleaner Carpets - I didn't realize how filthy my carpets were! I forgot they were light brown. - Carpet Cleaning Near Me - Alameda, California

Fantastic experience. So friendly, honest, and would absolutely recommend. We got a large area rug cleaned read more

I work for a business that requires carpets to be regularly cleaned. Thoroughly impressed with responsiveness, ease of scheduling and results. I have now made this company my primary contact for carpet cleaning needs. There is no comparison to other carpet cleaning services that simply clean the surface. For a deep cleaning and excellent service give them a call :) read more

I don't know how this company has such good reviews on yelp. They must either be fake or they paid to have the bad reviews removed. First, they were rude. They came into my house saying that they needed three outlets to operate their equipment. In the past when I've worked with companies they had the necessary power sources in their can/truck. When I showed them where the outlets were located the older gentleman literally pushed me aside with his hand in order to plug in his equipment. This stranger shoved me to the side in my own home when I was paying him for services that he proceeded to perform poorly. While they were washing the carpets, I noted that they still smelled and appeared very dirty, there were visible chunks of soil still on the carpet. They said that they were as clean as they were going to get and were very defensive. After washing the carpets, they proceeded to walk across the carpet with their dirty shoes without using shoe covers. When I requested they use shoe covers they were irritated with the request and said they didn't have any. Using Cleaner Carpets was a waste of my time and my money, and I let rude disrespectful people into my home. We initially chose this company because we wanted to support a local business and they had good reviews, but now this experience has taught us that we should stick to larger organizations. I was recently venting to my brother-in-law about my experience and he knew exactly the company I was speaking of - describing the owner and his son to a T. He said they did a horrible job at his home and he ended up purchasing his own carpet steamer to complete the job that they were unable to do. Honestly, I am probably more upset about how disrespectful those two men were to me in my own home than I am about having wasted my money on hiring them. read more

I texted Cleaner Carpets for an estimate. Russell decided to actually stop by (maybe I was asking too many questions) to make sure before quoting a price. Long story short, Russell & Daniel are a very professional, organized & thorough. They did an excellent job cleaning 3 + partial rooms, hallway & a curved stairway. Russell really cares, making sure that every area is clean with precision. They are both very hard workers that do the best job! Very satisfied with the quality of service. My carpets looks and feels new again. Thank you Russell & Daniel! read more

Russell and his team did an outstanding job cleaning my upstairs carpet. He quickly responded to my request for a quote and scheduling was easy. I appreciate that he and his team showed up on time and were careful setting-up their equipment in my home. I'm so happy my carpet looks fresh and new. I highly recommend Cleaner Carpets. read more

Excellent service, communication and value. They were able to leave the carpets looking dramatically better. Highly recommend (and we have two kids and a dog!) read more

I needed my carpets cleaned for a move out and called Russell to get a quote, his response time was quick and his price was reasonable. I live in a loft with a spiral staircase and he was able to get up to the bedroom and clean the carpets after figuring out how to rig all his equipment from downstairs. He was the only carpet cleaner that I called who was able to accommodate this unique situation since other carpet cleaners required their equipment to run from a truck outside. Both Russell and his assistant were friendly and had a good sense of humor about the situation as well. They were extremely careful in making sure that the power source for the equipment was substantial and to not short the breakers. I also had Russell clean a wool area rug of mine and I was very pleased with the outcome! The bedroom dried within a day and the wool area rug with fans took about 2 days. I plan on definitely using him again if I ever need carpet cleaning! read more

My carpets are very clean!!! I tried this business because I wanted to use a local business rather than a national chain. Russell and his partner spent 4 hours cleaning all of the common areas, 2 BR, stairs and hallway. I thought it was a lot of time, but I cannot complain as all of the spots are gone! They need to use bathrooms to get water and dump water and I had forgotten so I had stuff piled everywhere. At first I saw a small mess in the bathrooms but they did clean up before they left. I would use them again!! read more

Cleaner Carpets - Had lots of spots. All gone now! - Carpet Cleaning Near Me - Alameda, California

Russell and his team were fantastic. Communication was clear and prompt. Their quality of work was faultless. They even accommodated some extra work on the day and were very reasonably priced. Russell even gave me tips for ongoing cleaning and maintenance. My carpets and rugs look great - I will definitely use them again. read more

I bought a new rug that had a strong chemical smell and they were able to get rid of it at a fair price. Very responsive and on time. Would work with them again, no doubt! read more

Terrific! Russel and his team did a wonderful job on a carpet I thought was not salvageable. I thought I would end up replacing it, but when they were finished it looked as good as new. Russel's response time was quick when I called to get a quote and inspection, and his price was very reasonable. I will not use anybody else from now on. read more

I've used Cleaner Carpets for my carpets and furniture for years. They are always prompt and their work is exceptional. He even gave me a tip once on the nuances of maintaining my new carpet that was stain proof, and yet always seemed dirty. Turned out the carpet cleaner I normally used was counterproductive on that carpet type. He suggested another brand so I could keep them clean in between their visits. Highly recommend their service! read more

My carpet was stained and smelled like cigarette smoke. It now looks clean and smells like nothing - ahhhhh, I love it!! They do offer deodorizer but I opted not to. I also had them clean my white couch and area rugs. They were on time and very professional in general. read more

So, I had a different service come to do the house. Don't get me wrong, they gave great service, and that was wonderful, but the result of their topical system left a bit to be desired. Topical treatment just leaves the dirt in the carpets and disguises it. One of the rooms still had a bad stain from my kid as well as a horrible chemical smell I just couldn't deal with. So, while the other guys were still backing out of the driveway, I called Cleaner Carpets. I explained what the problem was and asked if they could come out. they were excited to be able to show the difference in the cleaning methods. Not only were they able to come out same day to fix the problem, but they were also there in an hour. And lemme tell you, the difference in a steam clean vs. a topical clean are incredible. 1st, you can actually see the dirt that vacuums out in the wastewater, and there was a lot of filthy water that came out. 2nd, that means all that dirt was left behind from the topical cleaning, so just how good a cleaning could that topical cleaning have been? 3rd, not only were they able to get out that horrible smell out of the wool that was left behind from the "other guys" topical treatment, Cleaner Carpets got the bad stain out of the carpet as well. 4th, the price was virtually the same as the "other guys" and the work was soooooo much better. So, long story short. I recommend Carpet Cleaners. Good job. read more

My father in law has been using Russell for years and said stop wasting your time. He was right, Russell was amazing! We have used a few other carpet cleaners, but nothing compared to job he did. The carpets looked brand new. Everyone who came over thought we remodeled the house or got new carpet. I can't recommend him enough. Carpet cleaning is truly his passion!! read more

I have 2 cats, so my carpet had been looking pretty grubby. Russell and his assistant were able to accommodate me on short notice and provided me with fair, reasonable rates. I really appreciated how thorough they were in getting rid of all of the stains, and they even took care of one that was in the communal hallway (when they had only been hired to clean inside of my apartment). My only complaint was that they did not wear facemasks for most of the cleaning, which, during COVID times, is a bit of a concern. But, overall, I was extremely happy with the service and would hire them again. read more

Russell is a man of his business, he is straight forward and does amazing work. He has done my carpets twice now and both times his work is impeccable, they look like new carpets when he is done. His prices are fair and he goes above and beyond with the service he provides. I will be using him again read more

My carpets are 15 years old and I have 2 large dogs that track in all kinds of dirt and 2 kids and my carpets actually look brand new after Cleaner Carpets cleaned them! I've had my carpets cleaned by several companies in the past and none of the previous cleaners were able to get my carpets anywhere close to as clean as Cleaner Carpets. I've had Cleaner Carpets clean my carpets several times in the past and the only reason I even tried other companies is because Cleaner Carpets was already booked up on the days I was looking for, but the other companies were really a waste of money because the carpets didn't get anywhere as close to clean as when Cleaner Carpets cleans them. If your #1 priority when hiring a carpet cleaner is to have your carpets as clean as possible, this is the company to hire! read more

Russell was brilliant, efficient and left our bedroom carpet sparkling clean! We couldn't be more pleased with the service. We will always use this exceptional company in the future and we recommend you do the same. Thank you so very much for your amazing work! read more

I genuinely thought our (old) upstairs wall-to-wall carpet was a lost cause, but Russell and Daniel brought it back to life. It genuinely looks almost brand-new. They took four hours from set up, cleaning two bedrooms, office, common area and one area rug. Fantastic service, reasonably priced and super friendly people to boot. Russell clearly knows almost everything there is to know about carpet care and I appreciated the tidbits of wisdom he provided too. We will absolutely have them back on a regular basis to try to keep things from getting out of hand again. read more

I have used Cleaner Carpets for four years and I must say that Russell the owner always does a seriously excellent job with his devoted staff. His equipment is newer and they use a suction steam cleaning that extracts the warm water they inject and along with the water comes the shocking amount of embedded dirt. Your service call with Cleaner Carpets is personalized and high quality because this local company depends on significant word of mouth and leaving you with results that go way beyond what would be provided by some companies using a lesser quality extraction system. My carpets get lots of traffic from people walking in from the outside and every year the results honestly surprise me after Russell is done...my carpets look amazing and very close to the brand new look they had 15 years ago. The prices are very fair for the effort that is a custom cleaning from people who's continued success depends on satisfying you with the kind of results we all hope for ... This is a 5 Star company. I simply answered the questionnaire on Yelp to initiate an inquiry and this is the response I get?? I have no experience in the carpet cleaning/couch cleaning business and I was looking for a local professional to help keep our first home clean. Quite frankly, I felt a little attacked by this response and found it extremely unprofessional. "How many butts does it sit?" Is this a professional question? All I read in this reply is that they simply don't want my business. I had 3 other quotes from other businesses that didn't ask this and they provided me great service with my inquiry. Don't waste your time asking for a quote. All you'll get is attitude. read more

Cleaner Carpets - "How many butts does it sit??" This is unprofessional and I received 3 more friendly quotes that never asked me that. - Carpet Cleaning Near Me - Alameda, California

Quick, professional and effective. Will definitely call them again the next time we have carpet cleaning needs.

Cleaner Carpets was professional and showed up on time. My carpets were restored to my satisfaction. Russell was cheerful and showed me how to spot clean my rugs properly without Resolve and other harsh products. read more

We needed our carpets cleaned ASAP and wanted to use somebody local. We found Cleaner Carpets on Yelp and spoke with Russell. He offered to come out for a free estimate the next day, quoted a very reasonable price for our entire condo, including the entire carpet with Scotchguard, all bathroom and kitchen tile, and an extra rug we had spilled red wine on, and then came with an assistant 3 days later to do the job. They did an amazing job! Our carpets, tile, and rug all look brand spanking new! You can really see that they love what they do and have pride in their work! He also made great recommendations on the future care of our carpets and tile. We definitely highly recommend his quality of work!! read more

Russel was able to accommodate a quick turnaround for a very dirty shag rug and a sofa. Even though the job took longer than originally anticipated (due to how dirty the rug was) he still charged the agreed upon quote price. They were very careful with transporting the machinery into the house as well. I will definitely use them again next time I need to. read more

Russell just left and wow, our carpet looks just like it did when we moved in two years ago! At that point it was brand new white carpet and we showed up with our two black cats and our six day-old daughter (given our choice we would never have bought white carpet). Now she is an active and messy toddler who has spent most of the last year dropping food and the floor and dancing on it to make sure it's preserved for posterity. We contacted Russell through Yelp last week and set up an appointment for today. The crew arrived precisely at 11:30 and got started right away. A little over two hours later the carpet is white and beautiful again. Additionally, they deep cleaned our nine year-old couch and it, too, looks brand spanking new. Many, many thanks to Cleaner Carpets for the great work and an amiable interaction at a very reasonable price. And I want to underscore the GREAT WORK part. His is exactly what we were hoping for when we started looking for a carpet cleaning service. read more

Wow! Russell and team transformed my soiled carpet to looking new. They were timely, communicative, and professional. My carpet was gray/black before they came, after they were done back to original brown/tan color. Thanks guys! read more

Russell did an outstanding job on my carpet, got some of those stains I was unable to get up myself. Also, he cleaned my kitchen and bathroom tile floors and what an amazing job he did. Russell is now my go to guy for getting my floors cleaned. I did shop around other cleaning company's and Cleaner Carpets by far had the most reasonable pricing. Also, one more thing that might not make a difference to some but Russell answers the phone. read more

Excellent work. No bait and switch. First quoted price was an honest, reasonable price. (He charges by the square foot, so his original phone estimate may be a little different from his final bid. Our cost was $10 higher than the phone estimate.) We had two very dirty spots which he was able to clean perfectly (an earlier estimate from a competitor claimed that the two dirty spots were wear marks and couldn't be cleaned.) I recommend that you go with Russell and not waste time working with anyone else. read more

I needed to get the dirty carpets cleaned in a rental in the East Bay. I wanted somebody that did steam cleaning, check. That was going to do the job himself, check. That wasn't going to leave the carpets too wet, check. That knows how to remove tough ugly stains, check. Russell from Cleaner Carpets fulfilled all my requirements and then some. He was on time, very personable and a pleasure to deal with. The job he did on the carpets was beyond my expectations. The dirty carpet looks like new after he was done. Thanks Russell for a great job. read more

Well...I had promised my roommate that I wasn't going to share ANY after cleaning shots with her, but...I didn't say I wouldn't post any on Yelp!! ;-) So, original company flaked day of and I was stuck. House was empty (finally), no dog (main reason for getting carpet cleaned) around, so...I was stuck and uncertain when I would have this opportunity again. Say this company and reviews on Yelp..called...get a response within about an hour and he came out THE SAME DAY!! Can you believe it?? Truly awesome! Photos show horrid looking carpet before and, even though not every single stain could be gotten up (let's face it...stain has been in for over a year and trodden on infinitum) I am very, very please with this man and his assistant with the quality of work that was done. Price? Outstanding! Rush job? Absolutely not! Would recommend to others? In a heartbeat! Photos on original posting. Could not find a spot here for them. Russell responded to my call quickly and then came by the property to give me an accurate quote. Russell and his assistant showed up the very next morning and spent 3 1/2 hours cleaning and getting the deep dirt that learked in my carpets. Got the yelp deal... 50$ worth for 30$. I had never used this company before. I had two large rooms and one closet that needed to be cleaned; one carpet was pretty dirty (pet used to live in the apartment). I was praying that they could resurrect it from the years of dirt and stains. When I called to make my appointment Russell was very professional and honest about his service. He explained that his pricing was competitive for the market... Lower than average... But that his results couldn't be matched. He asked me about the condition of the carpet and he was confident that they could get the stains out. When they came it was Russell and his coworker. They were very professional and gave me a reasonable estimate after looking at the carpet. The process took about 1.5 hours. The carpet looked like new when they were finished. I would highly recommend this service to anyone looking to have their carpets cleaned at a reasonable price. I asked Russell how long the company has been around and he said he has been servicing this area for decades. The only issue that anyone may have is their limited hours. My appointment was at 1130 so I had to take some time off work to let them in and do the job. But if you are able to swing it choose them. read more
