Phil was very communicative, gave a quote after seeing a photo. They showed up early and cleaned my 8 x 10 rug in about 30 minutes. It was quiet and painless. So much better than renting a carpet cleaner - I will never do that again. Highly highly recommend! read more

Called Bonadona for help with cleaning a fabric, 74 inch couch. He asked for a photo of the couch via text and provided me a quick quote at a fair price! For $175, he was able to revive my couch and return it damn near to the state was 5 years ago when I bought it. He even got a stain out I never thought would budge. He was on time, professional, and fast. Scheduling was very easy and he was very responsive. I was very impressed with his work and will be sure to call him in the future for carpet and upholstery cleaning! read more

Thorough job, fairly priced, and great communication. I was especially pleased with the stairs and how quickly everything dried.

In the last couple months I have given Phil 6 area rugs to clean. He has done a remarkable job on all of them. He is quick, knowledgeable, courteous and professional. He gave me estimates by looking at pictures I sent him and they all came in at or under the estimate. Feels like I'm living in a new house now. I had forgotten how beautiful the rugs were and they're so vibrant now and look great. Also, his prices are more than fair. I highly recommend this company. read more

The guys cleaned my bedroom and guest room plus area rugs and did a very nice job. They were very good with communications, prompt and very nice. It feels good to support a small business that does quality work versus the big guys that do just enough to get by. I felt the pricing was fair. read more

The company I keep coming back to. Their cleaner is not smelly or toxic. It just smells clean. They are punctual and friendly guys

Bonadona's was a referral from our landlord and we were not disappointed. Phil was quick to respond and able to get us booked with short notice. He was very professional to work with and the communication was great. He provided updates on the work being done and was able to get a stain out that we didn't think he would. He was more affordable than the big name companies quoted, and we were very happy to support a local shop. Highly recommend!! read more

Thank you tor an amazing job!!!! My 12 year old carpet looos brand new. Reasonably priced too! read more

Amazing job on my stairs and area rugs. The stairs in particular, were quite dirty after a year in between cleanings. Between kids and pets running up and down them, I wasn't sure if they could look good again. Bonadona's was responsive to my call, give me an estimate over the phone after I sent pictures, was on time with the date and time they promised to be here, worked efficiently while at my house, and left my stairs looking amazing. I will not hesitate to call next year when it is time to clean all of my carpets again read more

Amazing! Phil and his team were great--cheerful, professional, reasonably priced and SUPER fast. Really easy to schedule too via text. We have three kids and hadn't cleaned our carpet in two years. The house feels so much lighter now--I set a reminder on my calendar to call them every year! read more

After a few texts and sending photos, Phil gave me a quote and we set a day. He and his assistant worked efficiently and quickly; Phil has decades of experience, and I could tell he was a real pro. I was stunned when they were finished and I saw my 20-year-old carpet that I thought would need to be replaced soon. It looked brand new! Phil was great to work with, a good communicator and reasonably priced. I highly recommend him. read more

Holy smokes, this team is one hard-working pair. Phil Bonadona owns the Alameda company and has worked the Island for decades. Needless to say, a company that sees your ENTIRE house has to be reputable. Wow. What a guy! Mr Bonadona came out to price the job and returned the next morning to do it. He did me that favor for a quick turn around because are hosting the Super Bowl this weekend. Yep. He arrived on time and brought his helper Kyle--a more pleasant and polite young man cannot be found. Plus a serious worker along side the determined Phil. We have wall-to-wall carpet and an equal square footage of large (and small) area carpets--some very high quality--some old, some cheap some wool, some poly. The team worked two sprayers two buffers and vacuums. What a difference a day makes. I've been using another company for years and I was lucky they retired. Can make a higher recommendation. You won't be disappointed. read more

I love it when a contractor shows up on time! They cleaned three offices and managed to remove stains left by other companies (and my own efforts with a rental machine). No problem negotiating the stairs with their equipment and even helped me move a heavy file cabinet. Quick and friendly - highly recommended. read more

We needed to have our carpets cleaned after our move out and Phil was so easy, accommodating, and reliable. He did an amazing job with the carpets! I would highly recommend booking Bonadona's. read more

The team was friendly and dependable. They did a nice job on our carpets and the price was reasonable.

I agree with all the reviews that Bonadona's did a great job cleaning our carpet. It was easy to make an appointment and I was very impressed that they were right on time which is rare for a worker who's never been to your house before. It is also a plus that the owner of the company, Phil, actually does the work. Phil and Anthony were very efficient and worked well as a team. They completed our upstairs carpet and stairs in a little over an hour. In addition, Phil was very friendly and cordial. Finally, as an Alameda native, I'm always happy to support a local business. read more

My carpet looks better than it has in a Long time. My dog was sick last week, vomiting on the carpet leaving a fairly large spot that I couldn't get out. Now you would never know where it was. Phil was also great at letting me know when he was coming. Great service! read more

This is our second year using Bonadona's and we still happy clients. Phil and his crew are punctual, efficient and did a great job. Previous companies have left the carpets extra wet and the baseboards a dirty mess. Not with this company. Give them a call! read more

Saw their reviews on Yelp and that they use eco friendly products. Last thing I want is to inhale cleaning chemicals after my carpet is cleaned. In my younger years I might've been down for the chemicals though. The carpet they cleaned was for my roommates room (he recently moved out) that hadn't had the carpet cleaned in at least 5 years, I'm guessing 10. Not only that, my roommate was also content to live in a filthy room, and he let the filth pile up. There was a bunch of mouse feces under his bed. Stains everywhere. Did I say mouse feces? When they arrived, I had 0 expectations. Probably why I'm so happy, not having expectations helps, but besides that, they did a phenomenal job! They got some stains out that I was convinced were impossible. Mouse poo be gone. The before and after here is phenomenal, though I didn't take pictures with the blind/ open, so the lighting doesn't do it justice. Take my word for it: they revived a disgusting carpet that didn't deserve to be saved. Not only that, but the owner and his peer were really cool, easy to talk to, hard-working, and efficient. Great business owned by great people with non-chemical cleaning supplies. 10 stars!!! read more

I called, described the job, and set up an appointment. Then, as we shared more info about the job, via text, he backed out with some lame and unbelievable excuse. Gave these guys a call after seeing some good reviews, and it was well worth it! Phil and his crew was able to accommodate for me and clean my carpet in less then 40 minutes! It was a small living room with a fairly old carpet that has some clearly visible high traffic areas in need of cleaning. They brought in their machines, sprayed the place down and scrubbed every stain out. This carpet looks better than when I first moved in, feels soft and such a huge change from what it was a day before. They came in quick, took care of everything and were on to the next one before I knew it! I would definitely call them again the next time I do a cleaning or maybe do an annual thing to keep it up as best as possible! read more

First time using this service. We'd completed a fairly major remodel. Lots of dust & dirt. And we have 2 cats. Living room, master bedroom & dressing area, and hallway. You can really see how dirty the carpet is once you move the furniture. Our request for quote was quickly answered and an appointment made for a few days later. Showed up on time and worked quickly and efficiently. Done in 1 hour. 4 hour drying time, after. Looks great. By the way, moving all of your furniture is a great workout. read more

I had a very small job, just one 12 X 12 bedroom. Phil Bonadona found a way to fit me into his schedule just a few days later. Arrived on time, cleaned a very dirty carpet (many years of grime), and finished the job in good humor and in good time. The price was very fair. read more

Phil cleaned my off-white carpet a bunch of years ago and did a great job. In the intervening years, I used someone else (based on a friend's recommendation). Turns out they are not as good as Phil. When this week's hot weather appeared I realized I had one last chance to get the carpets cleaned (and dried) before winter set in. Phil fit me into his busy schedule at the last minute and did a super thorough job. He's also always very friendly and pleasant to work with. I'll never not call him again! read more

I needed my stairs& spare room carpets cleaned & I was worried the dark old stains would still be there after Bonadonas was done but OH MY GOD..WHAT A MAJOR DIFFERENCE! . My carpet looks so good for an apartment now & my stairs look 10 times better than before. Highly recommend these guys. They are pretty fast in responding, by text or phone. They give you a qoute after you talk& send pictures so they can see what they have to work with. Very fast service, only took them maybe 45 mins if that & im very please with the results! I will be sure to use them in the future for my living room. read more

The many positive reviews on Yelp are on the mark. The communication is excellent, Phil and his team are reliable, and the work is as good as can be done by anyone, with safe materials and a friendly but professional approach. We discovered that our landlord was very concerned about the insurance coverage of the company doing the carpet cleaning and made Bonadona's Carpet Cleaning jump through hoops to prove not only that they were fully insured, but that there was no chance that the landlord would be sued. This was handled by Bonadona's and his insurance agent quickly, cheerfully, and at no extra cost to us. We couldn't be more grateful to Phil. read more

A main reason I've been missing from Yelp these past few weeks is because I've been helping my Mother-In-Law(not officially, but one of these days) move into a her new condo. Over these past few weeks, I've experienced the highs and the lows of selling, purchasing, and renovating homes and condos. I'm completely spent. While carpet cleaning probably isn't the first thing you think about when I bring up 'buying and selling condos', finding reliable and professional help is. Like I mentioned, I've seen the lows- But Bonadona's Carpet is a very, very high! I used Bonadona once before when leaving an old apartment, and again after Mom's condo had been purchased. These guys from Bonadona's are always on time, always professional, and always do an AMAZING job. They are very personable, they know their stuff, and charge a very low-to-reasonable rate in my opinion. I know we all don't need Carpet Cleaning Yelp reviews everyday like we need our 5 Star Burrito reviews, but trust me, when you're in need- Bonadona's is tops. read more
