We heard about Friendly Green Services from a deal on Groupon. They were super nice and accommodating to our schedule! It took us a few texts back and forth to figure out a time that works best (my fault), but they were super patient and understanding. When we finally did get an appointment, Kobi was awesome. He called to give us a heads up on when he would be on his way, and called again once he arrived. The service itself was spectacular!! We watched our carpet get the cleaning it needed. We're unfortunate where our slumlords never cleaned the carpets before we moved in, so they were dirtaaayy. Kobi was cool enough to show us how everything worked, he explained what kinds of cleaning methods are used for particular carpets/stains, and he wasn't pushy at all about the service he recommended. Honestly though the services are so budget-conscious, we were happy to ask him to do more with our carpet. I had spilled a blackberry on an ancient oriental rug, then stepped on it, then spread it before noticing. I then added insult to injury by trying to clean it myself. FGS arranged for a free in-home inspection and estimate. They could have cleaned the spot in-home, but we elected to have the entire rug cleaned at their shop for a reasonable additional cost. The whole job was done quickly, efficiently and it was a beautiful job. I had forgot how colorful the rug really is. There is no trace of the original blackberry stain. Kudos to Kobi and Kate for a quick response to my desperate plea to clean a 2 day old orange juice spill out of my beni ourain rug. I made a mess of things by dumping different cleaners into the stain. When I realized it wasn't helping, I called them for a quote. Friendly Green Services & Kobi are simply the best. Because of pets, we clean the carpets every 6 months or so. He was going to come on a Tuesday, but I got held up and had to cancel. I called again Friday morning and he found a way to fit me in. Did an amazing job, detailed for pets, etc. Fit me in but I did not feel cheated on the time he spent at all. He takes the time to do the job right. Kobi is a great guy, smart, who knows his business, his equipment and what needs to be done to get the job done right. Just had our area rugs cleaned by Kobi, the company owner on a Saturday morning after having to reschedule our initial Thursday cleaning. We had a cleaning scheduled for this past Thursday and confirmed the 11am-2pm cleaning time window the day before via text message. I thought that was professional and convenient. However, Thursday rolled around and no contact at all during the alleged cleaning time. So at 2:15pm I started calling the company and left 2 messages because no one was answering my calls. I sent an email on the website and then one from my personal account. At about 2:45 I received a text message explaining that the tech who was scheduled to clean my carpet was in a car accident and would not make it to clean that day. The office person asked when would be the next convenient cleaning time and I told her the next day or first thing Saturday morning. Would've been nice to receive a phone call, but I suppose a text message was more straight to the point. I received a text confirmation Friday saying the tech would arrive Saturday morning and would call when he was as on his way. Kobi called when he was about 30 minutes away and showed up just after 9:30am to our house to clean the carpet and due to the inconvenience of what happened on Thursday said we could name our own discount percentage off! I spoke with my partner about it and instead we asked if Kobi would be willing to clean two other rugs we had all for the same original price. He agreed and was very tidy when he cleaned up after himself; he wiped up any spots of moisture or spray from our bathroom floors and off our hardwood floors from cleaning the area rugs. Was apologetic for the whole tech no show and asked how I was treated during the rescheduling process. Great follow-up customer service after an unacceptable initial encounter. Carpets look and smell great. Polite, professional, accommodating service. He gave a receipt on the spot after we wrote a check. Hopefully the rugs dry well with no weird after-feel or residue. Kobi did a great job cleaning my carpets and an ottoman that had a pet stain. Its an oatmeal color ottoman that I thought was permanently ruined but looks good as new. There was a miscommunication about time but Kobi made it right and was super nice about it. Price was fair and about what I've paid before for carpet cleaning. Best carpet cleaning experience ever! I sent Friendly Green a note at 9am on a Saturday after waking up to discover my pup had done everything a pup could do to (two!) rugs: Pooped (two spots), peed, and vomited (also in two spots). By 10am, Kobi had called me, discussed the spots, and said he could be there in 2 hours. By the time he left (after less than an hour), both of my area rugs looked like new! Especially impressed that he got the vomit stains out of a light carpet -- those are notoriously difficult to remove. Best of all, he was super nice, understanding, and friendly.
