Well I guess leaving a yelp review gets their attention...after leaving a review they harassed me by repeatedly calling me over and over again. I tried to set up a simple appt that I wasn't able to do. The fact that they said I was trying to get free services is a total lie. Saying I was trying to manipulate the system again isn't true I just wanted a simple carpet cleaning that turned into fee add on after fee add on. I'm sure youre going to try to spin it to make it look like I am a horrible customer yet your response to my review says a lot. Kobi is awesome and so was Kate who set up the service. They were so accommodating to our schedule and to our needs. We did the Groupon which is for only a steam refresh (no shampoo or deep cleaning) which was clear in the Groupon, and it turned out to be perfect for our home. Our carpets were in good condition to start with (new construction home, so carpets are only 3 years old) . He also steam cleaned our sofas, which are microfiber. Our home smells so clean and fresh. We keep a tidy home, even with our 5 year old, but we just feel so much better about getting a powerful steam clean of our carpets and sofas. He's also a super cool dude and very friendly. read more

I'm delighted to recommend Friendly Green Services. I hired them two weeks ago to clean my three bedroom place. Unlike some others posting reviews here on Yelp, I didn't use a discount coupon. I was offered what I considered a fair price (based on my past experiences with other carpet cleaners over many years), and because I believe in supporting local small businesses, like this one, I'm not the kind to try to get the absolute cheapest deal. (I want such small businesses to survive and thrive, and they can't if they spend a good hour and a half and I'm only paying them a measly $60.) With regard to pricing, I like the fact that Kate, who answered the phone and set up the appointment, gave me a range and said that the technician could make a more exact assessment on-site. (She also said I could decline the job at that time if I felt the price was too high.) I actually appreciated this approach very much. I've had other carpet cleaning companies, using a strict formula, tell me over the phone that three bedrooms will cost X amount (often around $200!), despite the fact that two of my bedrooms are quite small, and my carpets are cleaned regularly. The technician, Kobi, arrived on time after having given me the brief call Kate said he would to let me know he was fifteen minutes away. The upshot: He did an excellent and thorough job! Not only did he clean the three bedrooms we agreed on, but I also have a little carpeted anteroom which he did for no extra charge. And after cleaning the master bedroom he said he still had some extra cleaning solution left over and would, if I wanted him to, clean the large oriental carpet I have in my living room AT NO EXTRA CHARGE! I was hesitant at first, because this is an expensive 100% wool Indian rug. I've only had it cleaned once before, and for that I called a specialist who folded it up and took it out to his facility where he held on to it for two weeks. But Kobi assured me that there would be no discoloration, and based on what I had already judged of him (that the guy is scrupulously honest), I trusted him. And I'm so glad I did! That living room carpet looks fantastic now! Absolutely NO discoloration, fading, or damage in any way was done. I'm really really happy with Kobi's work on it, and on all my carpets. One other thing I should mention: Because my carpets are cream-colored, they show marks and dirt quite readily despite my regular vacuuming. So I'd gotten into the habit of having my carpets cleaned 3-4 times per year. Kobi told me that I should not need to have them done so frequently, and recommended I not get them done until at least six months from now. When I mentioned that in the past when I've had my carpets cleaned, they would look great for the first week or so, but then after that the dirt would come back. He promised me that that would not happen after his cleaning and that if it did, he would return with no charge. It's been more than two weeks now since he was here, and my carpets still look great. Needless to say, Kobi is, as his firm's name states, a "friendly" guy and very easy to work with. I will definitely be using him again. read more

We called Friendly Green Services over the weekend and were able to secure an appointment for between 10AM-noon on Monday. They called at 9:30AM Monday saying they'd get to our house in 35 minutes and they showed up at exactly 10:05...off to a good start! I showed Kobi the rugs, carpets and upholstery that needed attention and quickly received a quote that seemed fair to me so he started right away. He was a delight to speak to, was thorough and professional for the 3.5 hours he was in the house, and shared numerous tips on how to more effectively treat our rugs and carpets going forward. I just had a sofa, ottoman and mattress cleaned by Kobi, the owner of the company. It was a lovely experience. Kobi was very professional and kind. I wanted him to also clean another chair and ottoman and he suggested another way to clean it up on my own, for free. He was very meticulous and spent the time needed to do a good job. The stain on the mattress did not dissolve and Kobi offered a discount because of that, even though the interior of the mattress had definitely been cleaned, given the color of the liquid that came out of it. Altogether, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this company for your upholstery cleaning needs. The prices are also very fair. read more

Great service and will be using them again! We had a last minute reschedule from them but they were so accommodating. Our appointment was for 9-12 and at first no one showed and I couldn't reach them but found out that afternoon that their technician was in a car accident. They offered to reschedule a few days later but I told them we were heading out of town and had family staying at our house while we were gone. The family happens to be allergic to our cat hence the carpet cleaning. The owner came back early from his own vacation to come out the very next day and clean our carpets and upholstery. I got a quote and made an appointment within 1 hour of inquiring which was great. Less than a 2 week wait which was fine by me. They confirmed by text the day before and showed up about half way into the 3 hour range. Kobi called about 30 minutes before, came in and quickly assessed my sectional sofa that I was having cleaned. He was friendly and funny and finished in under an hour. The woman in the office suggested I would need more cleaning than Kobi himself thought I needed once he had seen the house, so it cost less than she thought. He cost more than a couple of other quotes I received, but I liked his spiel and the ecological aspect, and the speed with which he was able to come and do the quote and the work. I purchased a special on Groupon and had Friendly Green Services come out to my place in January to clean my carpets. Kobe and I talked about the stains on my carpet and he suggested doing a treatment for the stains and he guaranteed the stains would come out. I asked him if the stains came back within 3 months what would he do. Kobe said if the stains come back in 3 months give me a call and I will come out and clean the carpets again. I thought this was a great way to ensure his work but I was wrong. Not even a month passed and some of my stains, including new stains, came back. I called the company and it took a second call to get a return call back (a week and half to return the call). When I called to schedule my first appointment they returned my call within 24 hours so I was a little frustrated that they took so long to call me back. I spoke with Kobe and he said that he was reluctant to come out for some stains that may come back again. I was completely turned off by his comment and reminded him that he was the one who told me to give him a call if my stains came back quickly. I said I don't expect stains to stay away forever but they certainly shouldn't return within a month. After some back and forth he said he would call me the next time he was out my way as he didn't want to make a trip just for removing the stains. Kobe said he would give me a few days notice before he came back and it has been over a month since we spoke on the phone. I would not recommend his service and am extremely disappointed that I spent my money to have my carpets cleaned, only to have my stains return. read more
