Had a great time working with Kevin at One Hour Carpet And Sofa Cleaning. They deep cleaned and deodorized my sofa and removed pet stains that I thought were permanent. These guys are from Hayward but they go everywhere. Give them a call. You won't be disappointed. read more

One Hour Carpet Cleaning - Clean couches! - Carpet Cleaning Near Me

Odd experience. They make up the price based on what they think they can extract from you. They came out, quoted $800 to clean a rug I'd had previously cleaned for $300, and I was so shocked by the price being so high that I politely declined. The cleaner kept dropping the price as I explained it was cheaper to buy a new rug. He kept dropping the price and would not leave as I kept declining, until he reached $300 and I felt like I had to "give in." Then when it was time to pay I had to give my detailed credit card info on speaker phone where the cleaner was listening, to a person I'd never met. If this sort of thing stresses you out (it did for me) or you prefer want transparent, fair pricing I would not be able to recommend them. read more

Encountered one of the strangest and most bizarre experiences with this vendor. I found them online and called inquiring about getting 2 of our area rugs deep cleaned. Kevin called me back, and right off the bat starts to tell me "We are a professional company -- and any professional company should offer a deep clean." Through the rest of my 8 minute conversation he used the word "professional" multiple times, automatically leading me to think that they're anything but that! Next, I ask him about the process they use to deep clean, to which his only response was "we can take your rugs on-site." When I proceeded to inquire about the approximate price for a deep clean, he responds by saying "Any professional company would need to send someone to see the rugs before quoting you the price." Totally something that is not true, as I've spoken to at least 6 other vendors who were all able to give me an approximate price range and explain the process too. When I inquired about having someone come out to see the rugs, Kevin says there's a $100 deposit required to get on their calendar. Upon inquiring whether it will be refunded after the appointment, I'm informed that the $100 is to cover the time, gas and labour charges for whoever comes out, should we decide not to proceed with them... this to me is NOT a deposit, but a fee. Lastly, when I tell him that I'll get back to him, he says "If you have to shop around for vendors, we're not a match... go bless somebody else." This was said by a business owner even BEFORE they've met someone looking to work with them. Beware, this business owner is running a scam, or his head is too far up his own backside to care about how to run a successful business/build clientele. read more

Amazing experience and fast service. As I am currently moving out of my home, my roommate has a cat that has continuously began peeing on my couch over the last few weeks. I had spent all morning cleaning the couch and knew I needed to call in professionals. I did a quick google search that brought me to this company and submitted a request. Within 20 minutes I received a call from Kevin that he was within 2 miles of my home and can fit me in today. He gave me a quote and said he can be at my home within the next hour. As soon as he arrived he showed me all the products he will be using, recommended products to use for future use and started on the job right away. Just the perfect experience I had ever received and needed. All my stress and worries about trying to preserve this couch are taken care of. Definitely recommend coming here!! read more

We called One Hour Carpet Cleaning today to have one of our rooms cleaned ASAP. They were able to respond in a sufficient amount of time and meet our needs. Employee "Bilal" was very friendly and welcoming on what we needed. He was able to do a deep clean of the entire room in under one hour. After he was done, he had us check the room to make sure everything was done correctly and if he needed to do anything further. He did an immaculate job and the room was clean and smelling clean. I would recommend this business to anyone who needs their carpet cleaned. They were friendly and most importantly trustable. Thanks guys. read more

Kevin and his son came to my house to do an estimate for half of my hallway and one bedroom. There were stains and someone just moved out of one bedroom, it was pretty filthy. We agreed to the estimate even though It seemed overpriced for only one room and half a hallway. They worked quick and he was somewhat pushy about getting it done. I should've asked to take a minute to think about the estimate before agreeing, so that's my fault. The reason I took off stars is because the stains in the hallway and bedroom they said they could remove were still there and seemed confident about it. I wish I saved the money and just cleaned the carpet myself, could've done a similar job. They are still wet after they left, so we're drying them out with the windows open and a fan. read more

Poor business practices, and overpriced. I hired them for a move-out carpet clean. When I called for a quote they said around $350 and shouldn't be more than $425. The carpet was in good condition, and had been vacuumed already by house cleaners. When the carpet cleaners got there the price changed to $600-$700. I feel that they high-balled me to raise the price. How could one hour of carpet cleaning cost $700? I was moving out that night and didn't have the flexibility to say no and hire someone else. They wound up doing 1hr and 15min of work. When I called the owner/manager to discuss he told me if I didn't like the price, I should have tried to negotiate, and shouldn't have signed the paper. Really unprofessional and disappointing experience. read more

Absolutely amazing and magical. First I am so grateful for the responsiveness of this team. I sent a message and heard back 60 secs later and was able to get same day service!! This team is a super honest and efficient team that will work with you to help accomplish a perfect clean. My carpet was a tough one, 4 years no clean and it was a high traffic zone. Bilal and Donte, were so sweet and attentive to the job. More than anything they were so enthusiastic about the transformation which made it even more exciting and thrilling for me. They took a trampled down, tan turned almost black carpet and made it look brand new! Even the texture of the carpet is amazingly soft and it feels like Im just moving in for the first time. Bilal and Donte ,you guys did an absolutely amazing job, and I can't wait to have you guys do my parents house!! Highly recommended on every aspect of service and quality. read more

A few months ago I had spilled laundry detergent in my car. I tried to clean it as best I could. The stain had been there for months. Now, gas was spilled in the cargo area. What a disaster! I called One Hour Carpet Cleaning. I have used their service for the carpets in my home. It was a relief to confirm that One Hour Carpet Cleaning also cleans Car Carpets too. The laundry detergent stain is gone and my car no longer smells like gas. I am very please with the work. read more

Just got my carpet cleaned with this company and I am beyond happy!! I had some really dark traffic areas that they were able to get out in seconds. That alone gets five stars from me. I called yesterday, they were able to get me in the next day which I was very grateful for. They got here a bit ahead of schedule due to them being done with their previous job early. So that was an even bigger plus. I would highly recommend the company. You won't regret it, because I don't. read more

Just had my second carpet cleaning with these guys and they did a fantastic job just like the first time. Great service and very professional! We had our carpets deep cleaned for a last minute home inspection for an Adoption. They were able to clean the carpets the day after our estimate. Our carpets were super dirty. My husband is a diesel mechanic and no matter how hard he tries he gets dirt and grease everywhere. Bilal and his team were able to make our almost 30 year carpets look like new. Most definitely will be using their service in the future! read more

Fast and great. Kevin arrived on time, and was out right on schedule. Great talking to him. Fellow Bay Area Native. But of course what's most important is the quality of his work which did not disappoint. Check out the pictures for yourself. Carpet looks good as new after being subject to two years of an absolutely packed room with both my bed and my business inside of it. (Seriously you should have seen it before!) I would definitely consider using this service and working with Kevin again! read more

These guys were great, we had to clean our carpets for the end of an apartment lease. The landlord hated our dog and I had some deep pet stains in the carpet, so I wanted to make sure the carpet looked good when I moved out. Bilal gave me a good price, was on time and finished in about an hour. The carpet looks great, and I got my security deposit back. Can't recommend them enough. read more

My carpet was due for a change out and landlord does not want to change it and now that it's this clean i don't mind keeping it. Kevin got me a same day appointment at a great price! This is the second time we've used Kevin and his crew and both times have been 100% perfect. Our house has an awkward layout with multiple stairs which makes cleaning it a pain. But Kevin has the experience to know how to deal with it and did a great job both times. Our carpets were in pretty rough shape but he had no problems getting them cleaned to perfection. He also gave us a discount the second time for being a repeat customer. I cannot recommend him enough. He is an extremely nice, personable and professional guy. Tried to call and make appointment. Whoever picked up didn't speak until I said hello 3 times, i thought it was a bad connection and tried calling again, same thing. Seemed like he was screening his calls. I only have 1 small room I want shampooed and I was willing to pay a minimum up to 80 dollars, because most places require 2 rooms. Oh well, guess u lost an easy job. I'm trying to be nice. I'm moving and I don't have a deposit in place. Guess I'll just run the vacuum. Update I'm moving my review from 1 to 3 stars, so it don't mess with your previous 5 star rating. However, i don't believe that you pocket dialed me back or that the phone picked up in your pocket, because you said hello the first time I called then hung up on me. (Even if you did, its 2018 who doesnt have a lock on their phone) You probably have a crazy baby momma so u was screening your calls. read more

Our carpets look AMAZING! I wish I had a before picture. During spring g time there are these awful little berries that get stuck to my daughters stroller. They get mashed up into the rug and stain them. Those darn stain are all gone now! Kevin and Dante were professional and friendly. Sometimes when people come to your house you never know what your gonna get. Some people come in and don't say anything but hi and then that's it. But they were super nice and put up with all my chatter. Thanks guys for a job well done. read more

Oct 10th, 2017: Spent couple hours on Yelp looking for someone who was local, had affordable prices, and had amazing Yelp reviews. I stumbled upon One Hour Carpet Cleaning and set up an appointment where someone could come and take a look at my wall to wall living room carpet at no charge. An appointment was set at 10am the very next day! (unlike the other places I called that said they didn't have any openings until next month). Kevin knocked on my door at exactly 10am sharp. He was full of energy, extremely funny and very knowledgeable. He gave me the price and said he could do it right now! Long story short, my carpet looked brand-spankin' new as if I had just moved in. After 6-8 hours to dry I found myself rolling around on my clean and fluffy living room carpet! Highly recommended! Will definitely refer him to friends and family. read more

I had a hard time finding someone to clean my carpets in a timely fashion. Most places were booked weeks out and I needed them cleaned quickly in preparation for the holidays. In the end it looked cleaner than I ever remember it being. He worked with me on the price and I'm very pleased with the results. Excellent value! read more

A scam company under different names. Kevin (not his real name) does a piss poor job using old portable equipment. The equipment he had left the carpet dirty and wet for days. For the same price you can get professional truck mounted cleaning. He tries to swindle you into leaving a 5 star review before he leaves. When he leaves you see how bad it is. Most of his reviews are bought and fake. He uses different company names to hide the bad reviews. For now he uses/borrows Champs Carpet, On Hour carpet Cleaning in Hayward, and First Impressions. read more
