I'm here to give an HONEST review. I've had a Chevy EV for about 3/4 Months and I'm counting down the seconds to get rid of it in 3 more years.. I've despised the car after 3 days of leasing it. Anyone thinking to buy this car truly needs to educate themselves on EV's not just go based off of what the dealer educates you with. Apparently, each model of this vehicle comes with different mileage range. i have a standard blazer that only gives me a 280 mile range on 100% battery. unrealistic for a parent like me. i transitioned to this from a Traverse that gave me 420 mileage range on a full tank. In other words, the blazer EV with 280 mile range is like having a half a tank... in terms of charging. Your best bet is to have a charger installed in your home. WARNING: OUTLET INSTALLATION RANGES BETWEEN $1K-$2K.... if you use a traditional outlet you will get about 4 miles for ever 2 hours you charge. public chargers do not work 98% of the time, especially the free ones. The ones you pay for, also don't work half the time and the ones that do get taken up so fast. I had 8 percent one day which is about 12 miles and i spent an hour trying to find a charger and could not find one., this actually happened a few times if im being ENTIRELY HONEST. The first time i charged my car to 80% which is what is recommended- i spent $60... again, $60 for 80% battery which is 226 Miles. Think of it as $60 for half a tank. The car has a nice ride - its about the only thing i like from it. Super smooth- no gear shift so you can go from 0-100 real quick, no pun intended. The car has an auto brake feature which will give you whiplash any time it activates. i tried turning it off because the emergency brake has turned on on me in the middle of the highway and me driving without other cars in front of it. Its happened to me parking, at a green light, coming off an exit- you name it. again, I've tried turning this feature off and it still activates on its own. in my opinion- dangerous- especially in the middle of a highway or coming off an exit as anyone can easily rear end you. the car has the bird view to park which is pretty great. this is an electric car- like a cell pone- they glitch all the time. some days the screen works, some days it does not. some days it works and then in the middle of me driving the screen goes all blue etc. The car is definitely spacious, although i lost a 3rd row seat from my Traverse- the trunk space makes up for it. the google or Alexa feature it has- instead of car play- never works.. N E V E R - i call for google or Alexa and they're response is always "i seem to be having a problem right now" or the screen says "feature unavailable please try again later". please keep in mind that this is how you pull up your GPS or music while you're driving- so if you have an emergency mid ride- you're better off pulling over. also, back to the battery quickly. I was told any GM dealer will charge for free- this is absolutely inaccurate. I've visited a number of dealers and they all state this was a lie. they can charge in the even of an emergency but you have to pay. They'll also tell you GM offers incentives to install the charger in your home, well, guess what, this doesn't apply to the Blazer EV.. all they can do is recommend you electricians. i tried returning this vehicle after having it for one week- 10 days- and was told i had the car for a month so i couldn't be helped. it felt like a month because i got it on the 28th of the month and came back on the 7th. I want to be fair and state the dealer did offer me alternatives for my vehicle and my situation a smaller Buick for $800 a month and more money down payment.--- clearly i had to keep this EV which i despise with every ounce of my body. This dealer definitely lost what could have been a loyal customer.. again, this car, for me, a no go... HOPE MY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE CAN HELP SOMEONE ELSE!

Update 11/27/19: Now that my lease was coming to an end, I went back to Green Brook and had another great experience. This time I worked with Brian Clemens who I would recommend VERY highly. In addition to Brian, all of the staff at the dealership was a pleasure to work with (Charles, Jonathan, and John). Brian found the perfect new truck for me and was able to provide a great price. He also helped my wife get into a brand new GMC Terrain and lower her payments.

Parts only estimate from Green Brook. Excessive!

The service people are nice and pleasant to deal with which earned this place an extra star. I realize the service department of auto dealers is traditionally there to make the owner great amounts of money for the same service one can get other places. But I took my vehicle into Green Brook to have the exhaust fixed, not completely replaced. The car was noisy and emitting fumes, which is what I asked to have repaired. When the service rep showed me the parts list totaling over $1,700, with a total estimate of over $2,200 for parts and labor both he and I agreed it would not be worth paying that much for the work. After all my vehicle has 115K miles and is only worth $4,500 trade in value at most. I took my vehicle home after paying almost $150 for them to "diagnose" the issue. Later I dropped it off at Midas, which is much closer to my home, expecting to pay around $1000 or so for all the work specified by Green Brook. I told Midas exactly the same thing as I told Green Brook. But I was pleasantly surprised to only pay $140 for the REAL FIX which was to replace the gasket for the exhaust manifold. That's all! This kind of predatory overkill to line the pockets of the fat cat owners is at least unethical but very common. Green Brook is lucky to get 2 stars. Support your local mechanic and shop.

sunken on the third row, if they say this is normal, then it means Buick is so CHEAP

I ended up with a 2012 Honda fit that was completely rotten underneath with rust throughout the entire undercarriage. Please stay away from this place and go anywhere else. They were hounding me for a 5 star review for days, hoping I wouldn't notice the damage before I left a review. If you're looking for a safe vehicle, this is not the place to go.

The price of the car was also an absolute rip off considering how unreliable it was (over $32K PLUS the finance charge). They said there is a "one year warranty" as long as I brought it to THEIR shop on site which required a $100 copay each time and was there frequently. They would also guilt you for how you were only paying the copay and how they were eating the remaining cost of the fix (when they should've sold you a reliable car from the beginning). When I addressed my issues when the warranty was about to expire, they said they would have never told me that and I could have taken it to any technician of my choice, meaning I was lied right to my face. The technician on their site kept putting "band aid" fixes on my car for a full year and then when I took it to my own technician right as the warranty expired, the repairs were over $7K (including needing TWO catalytic converters). When I got these fixed through my own technician, a couple weeks later the car started jolting and shaking aggressively whenever the car accelerated ( something that happened a couple times but I had dismissed as something minor since it wasn't as aggressive) and I brought it directly to the manufacturer at the recommendation of my technician because this was in dangerous shape. This 2016 car had less than 100,000 miles on it and affected my ability to get to work frequently. The estimate cost for the fix was another $4500, so I turned it in directly to the manufacturer. I had the car for approximately 18 months and over $7K in the hole PLUS the remaining thousands I owe for the loan for a car I can that was unsafe and undriveable. NEVER again!

What we got was far from it. First visit: The car came back with oily mats that were dangerously slippery, the vacuuming was incomplete, and visible water stains and marks on the visors were left behind. It was clear the job was rushed and poorly done. When my husband called to address the issues, the staff promised to fix everything if we brought the car back. So we gave them a second chance. Second visit: My husband dropped the car off at 9 AM and was told he'd receive a call when it was ready. No one ever called. At 5 PM, he walked over only to find someone lounging on the couch who casually said the car was ready. After inspecting it, it was clear nothing had been done. The staff claimed they were only supposed to vacuum the car--which is outrageous. We left the car there all day, again, for nothing. We were told the poor results were due to a new employee still learning. We were understanding and gave them yet another chance after the manager personally called us, apologized, and assured us he would handle it himself. Third visit: I showed the manager the exact stains and issues before leaving the car again at 9 AM. At 3 PM, we were told it was ready. Once again, the car looked almost exactly the same. The stains I had pointed out were still there, the car was not properly vacuumed, and there were oil stains and fingerprints all over the console. The only thing they seemed to do was wash the exterior--which makes no sense, since it was raining that day. This has now taken three visits and over two full days of wasted time. We expected premium service for the premium price. What we got was something that a $40 drive-thru car wash could've done better. Do not be fooled by the positive reviews. Our experience shows a serious lack of professionalism, poor communication, and zero accountability. We will never return and absolutely do not recommend this business to anyone. Save your money and go elsewhere.

The issue is the loan payoff process, which can take up to 15 business days on CarMax's side before funds are even sent. That does not include additional mail time or processing time by your bank or credit union. There is also no ACH or wire option to speed this up. In practice, this means the loan may not be cleared for three to four weeks. If you're selling a car specifically to clear a loan so you can qualify for another one, this delay can directly impact financing. You may also need to make additional loan payments out of pocket while waiting for reimbursement. While the extended timeline is mentioned in the fine print, it was described in person as taking "a few days," and the full impact of the payoff timing was not clearly called out. That difference matters when real financial decisions depend on it. The staff were polite and professional, but the lack of clear emphasis around the payoff process creates unnecessary risk for customers. My advice: read the fine print carefully and plan for a much longer timeline than what is suggested verbally.
