People always talk about how dealerships do nothing but try to swindle you into paying too much for a car. And in the past i have dealt with dealerships that were not understanding or even listened to my needs. A few years ago, i went to greenbrook because i was looking to buy a gmc acadia. New or used, its a car ive loved for a long time. The salesman i encountered was Lance. He sat and talked with me and my boyfriend (now my ex). He asked me a lot of questions about my life, my profession, my family life. He was very friendly and wanted to make sure i truly knew what i wanted. After awhile he showed me around a few cars, and i test drove one. We ran some numbers and unfortunately at that time i could not purchase a new vehicle, but i always remembered how respectfully Lance had treated me and decided that when i was in a better position financially, id come back to greenbrook. This past may, i started car shopping again. One friday, late afternoon, i drove to a dealership just a few miles from Greenbrook and i spoke with a salesman and test drove a very nice car. They gave me a great quote on it as well. After leaving there, i drove down the road to greenbrook. My friend and i arrived probably just a few mins beforr they were closing for the evening (we actually didnt know until later. The never made mention of that). Ernie baptista was the salesman that evening. He did just as lance did a few years earlier. He listened to me, asked me questions, and then we test drove. We ran numbers, i got a quote. I had some things i needed to take care of before fully committing to any new car, but a few weeks later i came back in, had a down payment ready. There were a few hiccups from the car i had owned that i was trading in, but after all was said and done, Ernie and the managers at greenbrook gave me a pretty good price on the EXACT Acadia i wanted. I gave my down payment and made arrangementa to pick up my car a couple of days later. The entire car buying process was so utterly painless. I know people that have spent entire days at dealerships, and i don't think i spent more than a few hours over the course of anfew days with Ernie. Plus he gave me his personal cell number in the event a situation arose. I just had my first oil change and it was free and completely painless. I scheduled it thru the gmc app and was in and out of the dealership in less than an hour. Greenbrook is such a lovely dealership. Professional and courteous, warm and friendly. I plan on doing a lot of business with them in the future and have told a lot of friends and family about my experience. Thank you all so much :) read more

Beware. Pricing piracy being practiced. Went in for oil change and tire rotation for $129. When all was said and done, the bill came to over $3,000............. that's right..........$3,000. They demanded that some other things needed to be resolved like transmission, differential fluid, 4 tires, wheel alignment and more. This is the second car I purchased from this dealership, and the last. Been with them for over 2 decades. Dealership has trended downward. Service department appear to be on commission and behave accordingly by deceit with a smile. I'm done with them. I will actively campaign against this dealership and report these findings to the Consumer Protection Agency, Better Business Bureau, Federal Trade Commission and the State Office of the Attorney General. Took my Buick Enclave in for service, due to stabilitrek and traction control disengaging randomly. First time, they could not find anything wrong. Second time, I drove it until the message came up on the dash and had them use the code reader. They stated the problem was the rear hub assemblies and speed sensors. After a $250O invoice, the problem still exists and they asked me to leave the car for another day to diagnose it again. The price markup on parts is extreme. Call to schedule service with a loaner because I know it's going to take more than a day for something faulty at 46,000 miles on the vehicle. Mind you this is a soccer mom vehicle. But am told 3 weeks for a loaner? If you have that much demand for service to what your bread and water is coming from wouldn't it be wise to up the service loaner cars to accommodate the customers? I'm here to give an HONEST review. I've had a Chevy EV for about 3/4 Months and I'm counting down the seconds to get rid of it in 3 more years.. I've despised the car after 3 days of leasing it. Anyone thinking to buy this car truly needs to educate themselves on EV's not just go based off of what the dealer educates you with. Apparently, each model of this vehicle comes with different mileage range. i have a standard blazer that only gives me a 280 mile range on 100% battery. unrealistic for a parent like me. i transitioned to this from a Traverse that gave me 420 mileage range on a full tank. In other words, the blazer EV with 280 mile range is like having a half a tank... in terms of charging. Your best bet is to have a charger installed in your home. WARNING: OUTLET INSTALLATION RANGES BETWEEN $1K-$2K.... if you use a traditional outlet you will get about 4 miles for ever 2 hours you charge. public chargers do not work 98% of the time, especially the free ones. The ones you pay for, also don't work half the time and the ones that do get taken up so fast. I had 8 percent one day which is about 12 miles and i spent an hour trying to find a charger and could not find one., this actually happened a few times if im being ENTIRELY HONEST. The first time i charged my car to 80% which is what is recommended- i spent $60... again, $60 for 80% battery which is 226 Miles. Think of it as $60 for half a tank. The car has a nice ride - its about the only thing i like from it. Super smooth- no gear shift so you can go from 0-100 real quick, no pun intended. The car has an auto brake feature which will give you whiplash any time it activates. i tried turning it off because the emergency brake has turned on on me in the middle of the highway and me driving without other cars in front of it. Its happened to me parking, at a green light, coming off an exit- you name it. again, I've tried turning this feature off and it still activates on its own. in my opinion- dangerous- especially in the middle of a highway or coming off an exit as anyone can easily rear end you. the car has the bird view to park which is pretty great. this is an electric car- like a cell pone- they glitch all the time. some days the screen works, some days it does not. some days it works and then in the middle of me driving the screen goes all blue etc. The car is definitely spacious, although i lost a 3rd row seat from my Traverse- the trunk space makes up for it. the google or Alexa feature it has- instead of car play- never works.. N E V E R - i call for google or Alexa and they're response is always "i seem to be having a problem right now" or the screen says "feature unavailable please try again later". please keep in mind that this is how you pull up your GPS or music while you're driving- so if you have an emergency mid ride- you're better off pulling over. also, back to the battery quickly. I was told any GM dealer will charge for free- this is absolutely inaccurate. I've visited a number of dealers and they all state this was a lie. they can charge in the even of an emergency but you have to pay. They'll also tell you GM offers incentives to install the charger in your home, well, guess what, this doesn't apply to the Blazer EV.. all they can do is recommend you electricians. i tried returning this vehicle after having it for one week- 10 days- and was told i had the car for a month so i couldn't be helped. it felt like a month because i got it on the 28th of the month and came back on the 7th. I want to be fair and state the dealer did offer me alternatives for my vehicle and my situation a smaller Buick for $800 a month and more money down payment.--- clearly i had to keep this EV which i despise with every ounce of my body. My (new to me) truck had some motor trouble just two months into ownership, and it was towed to the closest GM dealership, at Green Brook. James called me the next day to get some info from me and to set expectations. In the end, the motor needed to be replaced. Firstly, I want to highlight James's professionalism throughout the time it took to work with the 3rd party warranty company. He always followed up with me throughout the process, and returned my calls promptly, answering any questions I had. Secondly, I want to highlight the work done by the tech(s). For a job like replacing a motor, I got my truck back looking and driving like nothing ever happened. I was expecting things not to work or look right at first, or not feeling right while driving, but so far so good. This gives me the impression that the techs have good attention to detail and take pride in their work. So why not 5 stars? While I am mostly pleased with GreenBrook's service, the ordeal took two months - though this was the result of 3rd party warranty dragging their feet. However, I requested a courtesy vehicle from Day 1, but was told none were available until a month later. And one month into the ordeal, still nothing available. So I spent two months having to share one vehicle with my wife, who also works. This meant major rearranging of schedules, missed days/PTO, cancelling gatherings, etc. These two months were a logistical nightmare for us. I don't understand why I wasn't provided a courtesy/loaner vehicle. And despite the great service I received, this one negative setback would make me hesitate to bring my truck back there again because it made for a pure hellish experience. Had they been able to take care of that major pinpoint for my family and I, I'd be singing their praises and would give them all my business, despite them being a little out of the way. This dealership is a complete scam. The salesman we worked with told us it would be a 36 month lease. With the price we received and 3 year lease, the sea sounded amazing. However, today when we went to return the car, we were told that it was 39 months and not 36 months. This had to be a mistake. I spoke with the salesman and he told me there was no mistake, and that "it's our fault we misunderstand." They were alluding to the fact that I was Hispanic or perhaps a female and that I didn't understand the lease (racist much?). I contacted this dealership as they had the truck options I was looking for. They were super quick and responsive to emails. They were also quick to provide me a quote for my trade in. The downside? They tried jacking up the MSRP by several thousand. They called it a surcharge due to the vehicle inventory being low. That's not my problem. I instantly bailed on dealing with this dealership after seeing the latest quote. Other dealers treat customers with respect. They then get rewarded by corporate. Ended up with their competitor GMC dealer a couple miles away and got $5750 in rebates/incentives. read more

The service people are nice and pleasant to deal with which earned this place an extra star. I realize the service department of auto dealers is traditionally there to make the owner great amounts of money for the same service one can get other places. But I took my vehicle into Green Brook to have the exhaust fixed, not completely replaced. The car was noisy and emitting fumes, which is what I asked to have repaired. When the service rep showed me the parts list totaling over $1,700, with a total estimate of over $2,200 for parts and labor both he and I agreed it would not be worth paying that much for the work. After all my vehicle has 115K miles and is only worth $4,500 trade in value at most. I took my vehicle home after paying almost $150 for them to "diagnose" the issue. Later I dropped it off at Midas, which is much closer to my home, expecting to pay around $1000 or so for all the work specified by Green Brook. I told Midas exactly the same thing as I told Green Brook. But I was pleasantly surprised to only pay $140 for the REAL FIX which was to replace the gasket for the exhaust manifold. That's all! This kind of predatory overkill to line the pockets of the fat cat owners is at least unethical but very common. Green Brook is lucky to get 2 stars. Support your local mechanic and shop. read more

I was hesitated to left this negative review, as I have been feeling good with your dealership as my friends and my family got new cars and services from your dealership for many years. But folks, what do you think about the photos below, taken on a new Enclave w/ new seat cover the technician put on. is this normal on a new car? I know it will like so in a few years based on many factors like your weight, how you get on or out off the car and etc. the new seat should look like smooth, firm and sturdy, but in my wife's Enclave, before and after the repair, the seat looks so so fluffy, with warps and creases all over the places. Originally this is not GreenBrook dealership's fault, I bought this new Buick Enclave with 37 miles from Buick GMC in PA last December, it's an anniversary gift for my wife, she is the person to drive this car. The leather seats have all kinds of premature worn out and sunken, brought it to my NJ dealership in December for inspection, the service advisor said "oh man, I agree with you, it shouldn't look so in a brand new vehicle, you are right it looks like 3 years old" then they ordered the replacement leather cover, after the initial repair one week ago, it looks much worse than before. When I It looked like three years old before the service, now it looks like more than six years old, they agreed with me on that but now they told Buick GMC customer service saying they never said that and said that is what it is! Just don't know about this place. Purchased a SUV here and had it serviced here for everything. I always feel like I'm getting ripped-off. Either I have trust issues or they embellish or over diagnose the problem and what ends up being a minor issue at couple hundred dollars ends up costing over a thousand dollars. I see customers there waiting for their cars and they have a look on their faces like "slaughtered sheep" or death row inmates. I suspect they take advantage of female customers and the elderly. I've been using Greenbrook GMC for over 6 years now. Whenever I take my vehicle in for a service I am always treated well by Tony and Fred. I will typically wait for my vehicle if it is in for a straightforward service. The waiting areas are comfortable and the secure wi-fi means I can work while I wait. They have sufficient loaners too. I've always been able to use one when my car has been in for something more than a routine service. I like the way I am treated here which is one of the reasons why I am driving my second GMC now. read more

This dealer was great at getting my 2023 corvette in 4 months, 2 months sooner than expected, when all other dealers were telling me 12-18 months. I paid 9K over sticker to them so I could get the car that quickly ! Since I got the car at the end of August, it has been a nightmare. I ordered the car with the hash mark decals which unbeknownst to me are dealer applied. When I picked up the car, it looked like they were applied by a blind man ! no 2 decals (out of4) were positioned the same and had bubbles all over. I live on Long Island and the dealer is about 80 or so miles away in the boonies of N.J. (a 1 1/2 hour drive each way). I had to wait 3 weeks the first time to get a loaner car. unfortunately I had to cancel the first appointment on 9/12 due to unforeseen circumstances. The soonest they could give me another loaner was 10/11. I took the car back and was told that they were sending the car to a body shop that was expert at applying decals. After 2-3 weeks I was told the new decals were defective and didn't adhere properly (pure bullshit). So now they they had to redo the decals the third time. Both times the dealer had to redo the decals, it took weeks just for them to get the replacements or so they said. When the car was ready I went to pick it up only to find that they screwed it up again. All along I asked them to get me the decals so I could have someone on L.I. apply them and have the dealer pay them directly for the work. finally after the third time they agreed. I've been waiting now for 3 weeks and still haven't received the decals. This has been the worst customer service experience I have ever had. My salesman has been for the most part minimally responsive to my texts and calls. The sales manager that finally agreed to let me get the work done locally, gave me his direct phone # and promised to make this right, has not responded once to multiple calls and texts. GMC is a joke! Do not buy from there. We bought a brand new GMC Acadia beginning of November and have had nothing but problems. The cars locking device system is completely shot. The car would not unlock so we had to climb in through the back multiple times. Then once finally Inside, the car wouldn't unlock so we weren't able to get out of the car. Not too safe to say the least with small kids. We had the car at GMC 3 separate times to be fixed only to keep bringing it home and the issue keep happening. Then our car wouldn't lock so you couldn't leave anything Inside. The car alarm would go off when opening the door. Huge issue. We wanted a car that worked and GMC didn't provide one. They will not give us a new car. They said we can't seem to find the issue so you have to keep it. Brand new car and nothing but issues. Don't go there !! read more

I have to say from start to driving off the lot was 3 hours. I did not compare pricing as I believe that I was treated fairly and very professionally. The overall feeling I had was one of a culture of putting the customer first. My sales person Mike S ,along with Charles Mgr and Jonathan in finance were so easy to work with. I was led to believe in June that I was turning my lease in for a cheaper payment on a smaller vehicle as a newly single mom of three kids. I am finding out today that I owe over $6,000 on the former vehicle- the financing was never closed. I call the dealer and they tell me "you knew this you signed this [vague] paper we have here saying you could owe outstanding fees"... Let me ask you... who would trade in a vehicle for a smaller vehicle and a lesser payment and be like "yeah" in three months let me pull this $6,059 out of my pocket to give you? Why would I not just keep the car for another year and make the payments on that? Instead now I am being told I have two car payments now (basically)... Clearly if I could not afford the higher payment.. I cannot afford two payments. I have done several transactions with GMC Green Brook over the years. Nothing like this has ever happened. They then sell vehicles that aren't properly serviced, and threaten to sue their customers when they won't buy the hoopla stories & reasons why it's everyone's fault but theirs. I went in with a 670 credit score, and 5 months later I have a score of 580 due to 43 INQUIRIES AND FINANCING SUBMISSIONS ON THE SAME CAR!!!!!! THEY CONTINUED TO SUBMIT INFO TO BANKS AFTER I SIGNED THE DEAL. The car ended up being a complete P.O.S. that had extensive subframe damages that weren't reported, multiple engine misfires, and a bad catalytic converter. IT WAS 2 YRS OLD WITH 19,000 MILES ON IT!!!! Thanks to their questionable business practices, I was stuck in the junker for a year (as no one would finance me due to 'Number of recent inquiries') before I could get rid of it by the grace of God!!!! Service department. I will start by saying I do not Own a gmc or Buick. But my husband does. I was sitting in the service area for them and saw people coming out and talking to people who were waiting for there services to be completed. The abundance of courtesy did not go unnoticed by me. In particular there was a woman with a cane and when her car was ready the service employee took the time to park her car in a handicap spot and walk her to her car. It is the little things such as these that really bring the whole experience together. Turns out my hubby had a nail In his tire what I like was that they showed him the nail in the tire and where it was and why it couldn't be repaired but needed to be replaced. Worst dealer I've EVER been to. I brought my 2007 Sierra into their service department because of a check engine light and running issue while on a road trip. After 2 hours of waiting I was told the motor was blown due to an improper oil change (apparently the filter was loose) and my antifreeze was so old that it no longer was cooling the engine so it overheated and warped the head... Funny because I did BOTH of those services myself 3 days earlier at my house. I was then asked if I would be interested in trading it in for a 2014 model. I had the truck towed back to a shop I trust near my house to find out it was nothing more than a fouled spark plug. Don't trust these people- they're scam artists. read more

So this is my updated review of my GMC experience. Let me start by saying the only reason I came to GMC was because Elvio (who no longer works there) was a salesman there and I personally knew him and decided to switch from Jeep to GMC. I had no issues when I came there and decided on my vehicle, Elvio was super helpful and got me into a new vehicle for a 4 year lease. About a year into my lease, I started having intermittent transmission issues, so I brought my vehicle into Greenbrook and they couldn't find anything because the check engine light wasn't on. So a couple months pass by, the issue got worse and finally the check engine light came on. I brought it in, they fixed it within a week. Ok no problem things happen. A few months later the intermittent car jerking started again and I knew the same thing was wrong. I brought my car into GMC of Freehold because I live much closer to them. I dropped off my car, picked up a loaner and was on my way. They called me within the hour and said they reset the cars computer, which might fix the issue. And suggested that I bring the car back to Greenbrook if the issue happens again, because they have fixed my issue before. So not only am I getting dicked around, they obviously didn't wanna do to work to my vehicle. So the issue started happening once again within a couple weeks of them thinking the computer reset would fix my issue. So I again bring it into GMC Greenbrook, tel the guy what's going on and go for a test run with him in the vehicle and he says "oh you can't drive this car like this". DUH. So I get a loaner and I'm on my way. This time it takes them about 5 days to fix. While I had my loaner, someone door dinged the loaner door, so I was responsible for that to be fixed ($460 bucks later) . In July and August I still had intermittent jerking, and called and they said bring it in if the check engine light comes on or it gets worse. The whole point it I don't have the time to keep going around from dealer to dealer to get my car fixed over and over. I have two jobs and kids and I thought by leasing a brand new vehicle I would be headache free for a few years. Two weeks ago I leave my job at 9pm and my car doesn't start. I was beyond furious. It needed a whole new battery. That just put me over the edge. I shouldn't be having all of these issues a little over two years into my lease. I was able to go to Global Automall in North Plainfield and lease a brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee from Elvio who is amazing! I still had 20 payments left, and he was able to get me out of that headache! I will never go back to GMC for a vehicle. I even complained to GMC corporate and they said "oh just bring the car in for service again!" Thank goodness I don't have to deal with the GMC company anymore. read more
