They have held my refundable deposit and kept in touch with me to stay in touch which makes me even more positioned to buy this vehicle from Exem. I am a skeptic of buy here pay here places but this one has seemed to be a positive and pleasant place to work with. I have not felt forced to buy quickly nor have they tore into me about the remaining deposit (just inquired) and thats professionalism at its finest to me. I buy my cars straight out cash from owners and don't mind fixing them up if need be, but exem has me locked in especially as they do have nice vehicles again imo. Check em out. I went there on Labor Day looking for a car for my daughter. They showed me 3 cars. My daughter…read moredidn't like the one so we narrowed it down to two of them. I wanted to test drive them and was told after she ran my credit to get an idea of what I can afford. I told them ahead of time the range of my credit score and was told no problem . We go in and I sit for an hour with her. She runs my credit and comes back to me with the monthly payment and a 2000.00 down payment. I still was not given a car fax report nor was I allowed to test drive either car. She wanted me to purchase that day but I told her I had to come back over the weekend with the money for down payment. I was told I would be able to test drive and get the car fax. I get a text and a call over the week asking me if I was still interested. I told them the car I wanted to purchase and they gave me an appt. We get there and the car now has a dent in the door that wasn't there before. So I asked about the second car we looked at that had the engine light on and was told she didn't know if it was still on because the mechanic wasn't in. So there was new car that was the same type but didn't have sticker on it. I inquired about it. She went in and brought the key out. My son had come with me because he knows about cars. He turned it on and we asked to test drive it. She immediately wanted the car shut off and wanted us to come inside. I asked why? They then act like they were going to run my credit again and I told them no because I didn't want them lowering my credit again when I was told by her I was already preapproved. They did it anyway. She wanted access to my bank accounts. Some man whom I never met was there, he asked an employee to put the sticker info in the car we were interested in and got upset when we were looking at it. He then came over and stated he wouldn't approve me for either car. Not the one we originally came in for with the dent which they acted like was not there or the one with the engine light on. They wasted another hr running my credit again after I told them not too and I was treated like I was delusional for thinking I was preapproved when I was told the price range of car I could buy. I should have known not to trust them when I found out that the price they had listed online was not the real price but the price for the down payment I would not recommend them at all. I would give them a half a star for lying, wanting to get into my bank account on my phone, and wasting my time.

Service canceled my appointment without tellling me…read more Having been told that Global would service my Wagoneer S electric vehicle (not every Jeep dealer does), I used their web site to schedule a warranty service appointment. I received an email confirmation, which listed my vehicle model and the email/phone I used to book the appointment. When I arrived for my appointment, it was not clear even where I was supposed to go. Global had a driveup checkin for Genesis, and then another one with a Hyundai logo over it. I went in to ask where Jeep was, and was told to drive in to the Hyundai area. It was nearly a 15-minute wait in a line of cars to check in, and when I did, they could find no record of my appointment. A supervisor came out and told me they had canceled my appointment because they don't service electric vehicles. He claimed they had been calling me for days and had even left voicemail. This was not true. My phone number was clearly in the email confirmation, and no calls have been received. They also didn't bother to email me, though they had confirmed the appointment via email. They could not tell me another dealer who could service my Jeep, made no offer to assist me, just told me I had to leave. They treated me like garbage. Go somewhere that you won't be treated the same.
