I enjoyed everything about my stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was spacious. I paid the small additional amount and got the "suite". It is a room with a bath but the main room includes a Kitchenette, which included real dishes, glasses, and silverware, microwave, coffee maker, small fridge, sink and cleaning supplies. The table and chairs outside on the veranda made for a lovely seating area to visit with other travelers and enjoy a meal or drink, I would definitely come again! read more

Such a cute little mountain town! We were taking a ski trip to Beaver Creek and this was the only semi affordable option on a holiday weekend. The hotel is cute and the front desk staff is very helpful. The "lobby" is located in the general store. The town is off the main path, in the mountains, and if traveling in winter, definitely make sure you have AWD. The hotel has limited lobby hours, but communicates this well so it's no surprise! The rooms are cozy and cute. Beds are semi comfortable and the room is generally clean. Shower was great. However, rooms are VERY loud. We could hear both of our neighbors to the left and the right all night long. At midnight, we could hear their entire conversations. And then the upstairs neighbor was throwing stuff around on top of it. It was a problem all three nights, at all hours. If sound is a problem for you, this hotel may not be for you. Please also be aware there is no housekeeping. We stayed 3 nights and trash was never picked up, or coffee restocked. Bedding was never touched (which is fine.) And towels were changed after night 2 while we were out, but that was the entire extent of housekeeping. Not a big deal, but good to know if you plan to have any coffee before places open at 8 am. Would not return due to the noise factor, but otherwise it's a cute spot! read more

Very quaint hotel! We booked the double bed room with the pet friendly accommodation. The room was not huge but a fairly ordinary size for a hotel. The bathroom seemed to be newly renovated and the room itself was very clean. The staff was also very helpful and kind. Would definitely recommend staying for a night or 2! read more

One of the best places I have ever stayed! It is located in a small, historic old town with the friendliest people. The architecture on the outside is so neat. The check-in area also serves as a mini convenience store, which is really neat. They have everything there, including ice cream for those late night cravings. The guy checking us in was super friendly and explained everything in detail from how to access wifi, to where we should grab dinner. On the check-in desk was a free booklet explaining the history of Red Cliff and some historic sites to visit (with a map). We walked the town looking at everything from an old funeral parlor to a converted church. Everywhere we went, the townsfolk waved and said hi. It felt very welcoming. We walked to our room, which was on the third floor. It has a wrap-around porch, so from any room, you can see a view of the town. The room door has a keypad to access the room instead of a key/card. Our room itself was so beautiful. There were 2 queen beds that had down feather pillows and super soft sheets. It was very clean and very modern. The bathroom was stunning and had all of the amenities. It had everything from a sewing kit to lip balm. The room had its own thermostat, which was a nice change instead of just having the option of turning it from low to high, you could actually adjust it to any temperature. Everything worked perfectly in the room and the stay was comfortable. We will definitely be returning! read more

We stayed at Green Bridge Inn for three nights. Very clean rooms and bathrooms. There is a convenience store located on ground floor, as well as a liquor store. A quick 25 minute drive to Vail. Chris was there to help during check-in and check-out, he was very friendly and helpful. Everything about our 3 night experience at Green Bridge Inn was excellent. Also, the price we paid compared to those hotels around Vail, was unbeatable. Mango's across the street has great burgers and excellent sweet potato fries. read more

Comfortable with lots of character : ) I wanted to stay someplace a bit off the beaten path that had a lot of character. I sure found it here at the GBI : ) I was checked in by Mallory the owner who was very helpful at giving me all the details for skiing at Vail and Beaver Creek. My room was very comfortable with wood paneled wall, tiled bathroom, big closet area, DVD/tv, and soft mattress and pillows. There's free coffee/tea for guests in the general store (next to the liquor store). There is no cellular service in Red Cliff so you will need to use wifi. I used the landline in the room to make a few conference calls (apologies for checking out 20 minutes late on a call that ran over!). The Mangos Grill is basically across the street that has beer and pub food. That's Red Cliff. I would stay here again, I was very comfortable here. read more

Beautiful setting, drive in from north or south is worth the trip. Very up to date rooms, very clean. They only have a couple of dog rooms so booking early is necessary but they were very dog friendly. Only one restaurant in town, Mango's but the food is worth it. Grilled whole avocado with chicken salad was delicious. Ask about the dollar bills in the ceiling! Not a lot to do in Red Cliff but it is a great base for activities in the area. The walking tour of Red Cliff is worth the walk if you are interested in history. read more

My significant other used my account to book a room. I had no idea about it until the hotel called me to tell me. The hotel was completely unsympathetic to my plight and charged me anyway for the room saying they were nice enough not to charge me for the whole stay. We thoroughly enjoyed this hotel in the cutest mountain town of Red Cliff, CO! It was clean and cozy with the most comfortable beds!! The staff is friendly and we loved the convenience of the market in the lobby with complimentary coffee and tea. Cooler weather in the summer, friendly people, BEAUTIFUL scenery, fun places to ride ATVs, etc etc!! We can't wait to go back in the winter to ski since skiing is so close and convenient! I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. My husband and I went to Vail to see a concert and decided to get a room too. First of all, when I emailed the front desk with some questions and requests, they never responded. I thought- ok... surely it's not that busy that they can't just email me back, but then I let it go. When we arrived we didn't even get so much as a greeting. No hello, no "how can I help you?" Nothing. I told the woman at check-in that I had reserved a room. She promptly gave us the code without so much as an iota of customer service. The room itself was nice, new, good bedding, good restroom. What came next was the major issue I had. While we were in town for a very popular weekend, all of the rooms were booked in the inn. The room we were placed into was a conjoined room with a door to connect to the next room. We were not affiliated with the people next door in any way. On our way up to the room, we were harassed by the drunkards at 3:30 pm in the afternoon. These people made lots of noise, and we could hear their very crude and disrespectful comments through the thin walls. However, they didn't continue into the night, so we didn't lodge a noise complaint. The next morning at 9:30, the stench of pot started wafting in through the conjoined door. No amounts of towels around the cracks could seal off the cloud! We tried to get ready and high-tail it out of there as fast as we could! When we left 45 minutes later I made it a point to tell the front desk clerk about the pot-fest going on next to us. He said "I'll look in to it," and left it at that. Afterwards I came home and wrote the inn another email telling them about what had happened. No response. If a business exists to serve its customers- why the heck would you ignore them? That's just plan common sense to address their concerns! I am appalled at the lack of communication that they management had. I waited for over a week to hear back from them before posting this review. I hope everyone else looking here for a recommendation can take this with a grain of salt and re-think booking with such a poorly managed inn. I only wish I had spoken up sooner, we were afraid of retaliation from the party-goers. Verdict: There will be no next time. read more

New Years eve and needed a place between Buena Vista and Vail. Middle of nowhereish. No cell service... a plus. Friendly people checked me in and out and the rooms were very nice. Down comforters, newly renovated room and good shower to take the chill off. They even have Vail Mountain Roasters as their in room coffee. Next morning, New Years Day, the eurovan was acting suspicious (alright, more so than usual) and the hotel allowed me to stay until fixed. i got to spend new years day in bed with All about Eve on the flat screen and didn't even have to pay extra for the 5 hours over check out I stayed. Not sure what to brag about first, the place itself or the fabulous people who work there. The owner Tim personally introduced himself to us and made us feel more than welcome. The staff are all amazing and treated us like family! The rooms are awesome and the travel size products they supply are the best I have ever had. No cellphone service, which is not a con for the hotel itself so much as the location, however the WIFI was very slow, borderline useless, good only for checking emails, additionally it's the type of WIFI you have to continually login to every five minutes. Go to the bathroom, log back in, change the TV channel, log back in, very annoying. ALSO! Wooden floors do not make for quiet neighbors. You can hear everyone walking, all the time, outside, next door, above! The staff was very friendly though and they have an awesome dog that hangs around, the store downstairs is reasonably priced for the area. I have been on many business trips and stayed in many corporate hotels, but staying at the Green Bridge Inn was one of the best experiences I have had with a company meeting in a very long time. The sleeping room that I had was perfect. Large bed great TV but what really stood out was the fine detail in the room like the antique looking but very modern sink and facet in the bathroom. The shower was all done in really cool tile and had great water pressure. The hard wood floors and crown molding throughout the room really makes this hotel standout from your typical Marriott or Hilton. Someone give this hotel some thought in its design and attention to detail. My company had a meeting at the Green bridge Inn and the meeting room was just perfect. We had 10 people attend the meeting and it worked out great with everyone sitting around a large table and able to use the large flat screen TV which was in the room for PowerPoint and reviewing videos. The room had nice windows so we had beautiful sunshine during the day, and when we wanted it darker to view some videos we were able to close the drapes to have it dark enough to view the videos. Lastly because Mangos a bar and grill which is just across the street, made it very easy to walk over for a quick but great lunch and also have a few drinks at the end of the meeting. Also, the hotel also was able to provide us a wide variety of morning and afternoon snacks for our breaks through out the day during our meeting. I came away thinking why have we not does a meeting here before. Great sleeping rooms, a perfect meeting room, the ideal bar and grill next door, all for a price that is less expensive then our regular meetings, but we get to experience this all in an amazing setting in the beautiful town of Red Cliff, Co. The next time I have to have a company meeting in a Marriott or Hilton my mind will be thinking about how can I get the team back together at the Green Bridge Inn. read more

The Green Bridge Inn in Red Cliff, CO was absolutely spectacular! In so many ways that I don't know where to get started! First the drive to GBI is worth it, in and of itself. They are tucked away in the mountains. Really close the Mt of the Holy Cross wilderness. It is beyond picturesque. The Inn was adorable! Loved the mint green color that played off the bridge color, loved the homemade fresh baked cookies as we walked in, loved the friendly staff who ALL (literally... every single one of them) went above and beyond to help us/give US the best experience possible, regardless of their own needs. The rooms were VERY clean and modern, yet they saved/restored all the wonderful history of the building well. It didn't feel like I was stay in a super old run down building, it felt like I was staying in a historical landmark redone by true professionals with taste and class, and with the conscientious awareness to preserve the history of this building and town. We would absolutely stay there again and recommend that all travelers, whether coming up from Denver, like us, or visit the state for the first time.... check this Inn out. read more
