On the check-in desk was a free booklet explaining the history of Red Cliff and some historic sites to visit (with a map). We walked the town looking at everything from an old funeral parlor to a converted church. Everywhere we went, the townsfolk waved and said hi. It felt very welcoming. We walked to our room, which was on the third floor. It has a wrap-around porch, so from any room, you can see a view of the town. The room door has a keypad to access the room instead of a key/card. Our room itself was so beautiful. There were 2 queen beds that had down feather pillows and super soft sheets. It was very clean and very modern. The bathroom was stunning and had all of the amenities. It had everything from a sewing kit to lip balm. The room had its own thermostat, which was a nice change instead of just having the option of turning it from low to high, you could actually adjust it to any temperature. Everything worked perfectly in the room and the stay was comfortable. We will definitely be returning!

After the massage, I sat by the fire and enjoyed the peace and quiet. I stayed until about 2pm enjoying all of the spa amenities. They provide fruit infused water and teas. There is also an oxygen bar available for an additional cost. They do allow children under the age of 16, with adult supervision. There were a few kids in the pool so it's not an adult only area which is the only downfall.

(I owned a pool company and this should be an easy and quick fix. Silly to suffer bad reviews over an easy fix. Dirty and loose carpet on stairs (dangerous). Another easy fix. Ski lockers are nice, but belong conveniently on ground floor. Ridiculous to lug them up and down stairs. The heat in the room was hit and miss. Portable heaters worked in living room but built-ins did not. I will say again.... "the staff was very friendly and the management did make responsive efforts to fix things. It's just that they shouldn't be broken when you arrive. Check the rooms out before. Humidifiers didn't work. Not nearly enough hangers in the closets. C'mon, these are cheap incidentals that should not be an issue for complaints. Why have the room doors on combinations and a key for the ski locker door. All easy fixes. But I wll again bring up the Hot-Tub. After skiing, this is a necessity. Really.!! FIX the hot tub!!. A relaxed patron will overlook other things. I would return, but only if I call first to make sure these issues have been corrected.

The ceremony site out back is private and naturally beautiful. Cocktail hour in the library worked perfectly and then everyone was blown away when they went upstairs to the reception space. Something that made it a bit uncomfortable was the remote parking, is about a mile away. They do have shuttles to take you there, but we had someone with disabilities in our party and this was a bit inconvenient.

The connection on Floor 1A, where the workspace is located was perfect. If you're here on a business trip and need reliable internet in your room, that's something to keep in mind. The amenities are probably one of the biggest draws here. They have a wet sauna, dry sauna, outdoor hot tubs, a salt room, cold plunges, and a large gym. Unfortunately, I didn't get to use any of them since I was here for work but I'd definitely take advantage of them on a personal trip. The facilities open at 6am. The location is also convenient, within walking distance of the village, hiking trails, and Ford Park. Overall, the staff were excellent, the room was comfortable, and the amenities looked great. Fix the room Wi-Fi and update the rooms a bit, and this would be an even better place to stay. I'd consider coming back for a personal trip to actually enjoy the amenities.

We did have to pay to park on site , which I do find offensive especially off season, but all of these resorts do the same... I didn't dine there however so I can't really comment on the dining other than breakfast. Hot tubs and pool was very clean and heated well. Graciously allowing us a late checkout without a hassle was also a plus. We WILL be back !

We had the AMEX upgrade deal, and our suite in the 180's was awesome. Considering we were coming in on Thanksgiving, having that awesome room was convenient since not much would be open in town. Our suite had two bathrooms, a reclining sofa (which we will be shopping for at home and was SO relaxing), a murphy bed, really comfortable main bed, a fireplace, and a big patio. Our fireplace had a problem in getting going, but Jacob came immediately and helped us out...on the holiday night. We needed some food, but were over Thanksgiving food for the day, and Amanda and Ben helped us out in Fitz's lounge in getting some mac and cheese off the shown menu. They have two heated pools. The other one had a waterfall feature, but we never really went to that one just because of convenience. We liked ours with two hot tubs of varying levels of heat, and apparently redone in the last year. The steam room was busted during our visit, but they have that and a sauna available, along with a spacious fitness facility that we never used. Their cool ceiling fans are pictured below also...very unique looking ones in each of our rooms. The parking onsite is underground, and I liked it because I didn't have to ask to get something in or out of my car through a valet person. We had an included breakfast, and it was high quality food, and even had an omelette station. The lobby had a great Christmas tree, along with a side room with a piano (which they allowed me to play at night). I love everything about this place, and it was a short walk to Vail Village and anything you needed or wanted to partake in. I highly recommend this place, and see you there next time...
