Chive Pancakes
Stephanie T.

A fellow Yelp Elite highly recommended Green Basil to me for really good Thai food. Therefore, on Sunday, I ordered takeout from Green Basil through DoorDash. I ordered fried Chive Pancake, Beef Pad Thai (normal), Mango with Sweet Sticky Rice, and Thai Iced Tea. The fried chive pancake served with ginger sauce had good taste. The dough was crispy and it was chewy inside. I've had chive pancakes before, but they were triangle shaped. I kinda prefer the triangle shaped ones. The Beef Pad Thai had rice noodles, egg, scallions, bean sprouts and ground peanuts. This was packed with good flavors and the best Pad Thai I had in RI so far. The Mango with Sweet Sticky Rice surprised me with the green sticky rice. I've only had white sticky rice, but the pandan in the sticky rice was really good and it was served with coconut milk. The mango was fresh and I liked the sesame seeds on top. Lastly, Thai Iced Tea is a staple for any Thai meal and it wasn't overly sweet. I'm so glad Green Basil was recommended to me and I can't wait to try it in person.

Lad naa chicken, wings, hot tea kow soy and kow piek
Christine S.

Dined in and haven't been here in years. I had wings, eggrolls, kao soy, hot tea, kow pork sen and lad naa. Want to note I am lao so this is my cultural foods Wings and eggrolls were good. Hot and crispy, comes with a sweet sour sauce per usual. Lad naa was a bit sweet for my taste (was hoping the condiment arrangement came with oyster sauce to fix it but it didn't), kow piek was ok but they don't have the traditional shredded chicken, it comes with sliced chicken which wasn't a fan last time I came (this time my friend had gotten pork), the show stealer here was the kao soy which was so flavorful and flavors spot on but could've used more broth in the bowl. The hot tea is a Thai tea brew without the cream and sugar which was interesting

Khao Piak with Pork Belly

Tasty food with affordable prices! The portion sizes were generous and the food was good! There's an option for Thai or Lao style for the papaya salad and it comes with sticky rice. I asked for pork belly on the side with the Khao Piak so it doesn't get soggy in the broth. They were understaffed so the food took a while to come out, but they tried their best. Also the Thai coffee was a little too sweet for my taste!

Drunken Noodles
Sofia C.

This was my first time getting takeout from this place. I had to order online because the phone was just busy. The food was done quickly. I got the drunken noodles somewhat spicy and the Thai crispy rolls! Everything was delicious!! My only complaint is that the sauce that comes with the rolls is a very small cup so next time I will need to get 2 or more because it's very tasty! This was my first time having drunken noodles and they were so good enough for 2 servings. I will probably get it again this weekend and hopefully it will be as yummy as it was the first time!!

This is one of our go to spot for lunch and dinner. My favorite dish of all time there I the chicken khao soi. It's soooooooooo good! So much flavor! It's a must try if you haven't already. Also, I enjoy the crispy Brussel sprouts and crispy spring rolls for appetizers. It's a nice mom and pop space with friendly staff. They also started remembering our names haha. I haven't tried everything there but I tend to get the same dishes. Might switch it up next time but the drunkin noodles and the pad see ew is also really good!

Ordered vegetable red curry no tofu, still had tofu which I cannot eat. Called for a refund, spoke to two people and they would not offer any refund, only said "sorry" and they wouldn't do anything.

Drunken Noodles and Thai Iced Coffee and Thai Iced Tea
Matt L.

The best dish I've ordered from here is hands-down the chicken drunken noodles. I enjoyed it so much that I ordered it twice in a week when I needed a pick-me-up for a busy week at work. The sauce is glossy and clings onto the noodles perfectly. There is a huge portion of meat (there might have been more chicken than there were noodles) and it is packed with balanced flavor. The menu will say it's "very spicy" but I think it's on the milder side. I've ordered a few other dishes like the pad see ew and pad thai. Decent but not as impressive or flavorful as the drunken noodles.

Sticky Wings
Taylor S.

I meant what I said when I said I'd be back soon!! Service was great as always. Everything was so good. I literally cannot complain. Every single thing was so flavorful and cooked to perfection. Honestly my only complaint would be that the veggies in the seafood curry were a little on the raw side, but it is fine because I liked the bite. I literally cannot express how amazing this place is. My favorite thing is the pork dumplings (steamed). Absolutely drenched in that dipping sauce. Arguably the best dumplings I've ever had. The dipping sauce with the roti is insane. I loved every bite. I want more. I love this place so much!!!!

Tofu pad Thai. Just ok.
SayItStraight M.

Overall good. The pad Thai was ok, kind of dry and lacked any real peanut/sweet flavor. Also, very little egg, scallion and bean spro. The crab rangoon was fantastic tho! Fast service with a smile.

Ordered the papaya salad, drunken noodles, pad thai, and thai tea (with jelly) for two people. Everything tasted really good. We got the papaya salad spicy, and it was appropriately spicy for a Thai restaurant! The thai tea was sweet (as this drink often is), but had that tinge of bitterness that I like from good thai teas. Everything tasted great: well-seasoned, not too sweet/salty/oily. I would recommend everything we ordered. We had some leftovers to take home. On our takeout order, we got the pad thai, pad see eiw, and Thai fried rice. Everything was packaged nicely and was still hot when we got home. I thought the quality of the pad thai was the same quality as when we sat down to eat. I also like the flavors of it and appreciate that they didn't have a side cup of fish sauce to add. Good! You're the chef, you tell me how it should taste and I can judge afterwards. My judgement: It's really yummy pad thai, probably my favorite. Parking is easy if it's not too crowded; there are spots immediately behind the restaurant. 4 stars because I am very happy to be a repeat customer. This might be an unfair opinion, but I wished the portion size was a bit bigger (although, I would not want the quality to go down as a result).

I hate the new placemat style laminated menu... the print is small, it's hard to read, and not every dish lists a price or what comes with. The service is spotty. There was one server and one person handling takeaway orders. There were few occupied tables when we arrived yet our server was distracted. We had to ask for a pot of tea twice. We ordered vegetable pad thai and were brought chicken pad thai. Granted, we were offered the opportunity to take the chicken pad thai home at no charge, which we accepted. We did not receive fortune cookies at the end of our meal. I still think their wonton soup is the best in town. We ordered the small ($3.50) with extra veggies, which was delicious. The Chinese egg rolls were meh; nothing special. And the pad thai, both the chicken and vegetable, were adequate. Unfortunately, their bathroom could use a thorough cleaning. Yuck. The total cost for 2 soups, 2 egg rolls (1 order) and one pad thai was $25.15, so the price point is reasonable. There is a 3% upcharge for using a credit card. I had done some research and knew it was a small space so I was praying there would be enough open tables. When we talked in, there were about 3 tables open. It took a bit to get seated since the host/ server was busy getting together online orders and bringing out food to other customers. But after a couple minutes, we were allowed to pick our own table. They have 3 two person tables to the left, on an elevated platform. To the far front of the space, there were two booths which could easily fit 4 people each. To the right there were 3 tables for 4-5 people each. We went with the bigger table, but moved after a couple minutes to another table for a more private setting. For an appetizer, we put in an order of crab rangoons. As my entrée, I ordered the Khao Soi with seafood and my friend ordered the beef salad which comes with sticky rice. The crab rangoons came out after about 10 minutes. They looked crispy, and were wrapped in a cute, round way. The filling wasn't as creamy as I wish it would be, but it did taste a bit healthier than regular Chinese take out. The entress came out after about another 10 minutes. My Khao Soi came out with a big bowl, with some lime and peanuts on the side. I asked for more lime and cilantro on the side. The broth was a very vibrant color, creamy, sweet, a little tangy from the lime, and because of the cilantro had a fresh and clean flavor. I loved the combination of all the flavors, and it reminded me of a curry. The noodles were soft, but not falling apart and there was a good amount of it. There was plenty of seafood including calamari, shrimp, and mussels. The calamari was a little tough but the other items were good. I loved the crispy shallots on top as they provided an additional sweet but savory element. I finished the entire thing. My friend's salad was good. It was simple in that it was salads and herbs with minced meat but it tasted good. The sticky rice came in a ball wrapped in aluminum foil, and then put into their authentic little basket so it was full to pull apart. They do have a dessert menu and we were offered some, but I had no space. It seemed like the server was handling a lot at once so kudos to him and the small but mighty team in the back cooking everything up. I would be interested in trying other items on their menu.

It was a first for my friend and I; we were in the mood for something yummy, but that wouldn't feel too heavy. It was very close to us, so in minutes, we were in their parking lot. We walked in and noticed its a big space. They have a lot of tables, a bar area, but also booths along the wall. Since there wasn't anyone else there, we look a big booth. One downside is that they don't have physical menus for the food, it's a QR code. To me, it can be overwhelming to scroll through so many options and remember them along the way. We finally settled on shrimp nime chow, pork belly drunken noodles, and Thai style chicken wings. Our waitress was very helpful in giving us suggestions and explaining some of the foods. I am very glad the food came out little by little as it allowed us to eat everything while it was fresh and hot. The wings came out first and they looked magnificent. They were glowing, crispy, and topped with goodness (crispy garlic, sautéed jalapeño peppers and onions). The jalapeño did not make the wings spicy. They did have a tiny hint of spice, but the sweet and savory flavors definitely overshadowed it. I drizzled some of the oil on the plate of the wings back onto the wings, but also on some of the other food we ordered since it was that good. The order came with about 4 whole wings, and 4 drum stick parts of the wing which definitely justified the price. We ate about half of them and took the rest with us. Next, was the nime chow. I noticed they these were made with a little less love since the ingredients inside were not equally dispersed. However, the flavor was good. I wish it had more Thai basil. Lastly, the drunken noodles came out. The vegetables were cooked perfectly, and it came with a good amount of fried pork belly. It was my first time have pork belly as a protein for drunken noodles but it worked really well. The dish was very flavorful, the noodles were cooked perfectly and well coated with flavor. Since we were the only customers there, we received all the attention. We also noticed they had a pretty good playlist going. For everything we ordered, it came out to about $50 which wasn't bad.
