I have no idea what type of work these guys do, because I never heard back from them. Owen (or Oren) came out to give me an estimate for a deck redo, and with out taking measurements or knowing how much the material would cost, just threw out a number of $35,000! I asked him if I could get a formal proposal in writing and he said he would get it to me by the end of the week. That was over a month ago. I contacted them THREE times and no one ever called me back or sent over the proposal. Whomever is running this company needs to know how their employees are screwing them out of business. I guess they must have enough work that they can ignore a potential new client. If this is how they conduct themselves before a project has even begun, I can't imagine how it would be if you actually hired them. I refuse to chase anyone down for business, thanks. read more

After cutting down a monster eucalyptus tree I got four bids to build in its place a new deck on the front of my house. One bid was more than Shai and two were less but I chose him because of his enthusiasm, punctuality and clear understanding of what I wanted to do. His crew showed up on time or early every day they were expected and were extremely skilled and hard working badasses. They knocked out the job in three weeks and I couldn't be happier with the result. It wasn't cheap but I'm sure the job improved the value of my house more than it cost. I would highly recommend them to anyone. read more

We recently hired Green Advisor to redesign our backyard and handle the hardscaping for our front yard/ driveway and we're very happy with the results! From the very beginning, the experience was smooth and professional. After our initial consultation, they got started right away, and communication throughout the project was quick and consistent (mostly through WhatsApp, which made everything super convenient). We were referred by a friend and now we're passing along the recommendation! The project was led by Shai and Owen, and they did a great job keeping everything on track. The project took less than 2 months including Bobcat excavation, paver installation, retaining wall added, outdoor kitchen/bar with appliances, plants, irrigation, and more. What really impressed us was how closely the final result matched the 3D design we were shown at the beginning. It's one thing to see a concept, but to have it come to life exactly as envisioned is another level of professionalism. One of the fun parts was getting to choose our plants directly from their nursery, which made the process feel really personalized. The crew was a good group of guys as they were hardworking, respectful, and dedicated. They kept coming back until every detail was done and we were fully satisfied. Overall, we had a great experience and would absolutely recommend Green Advisor to anyone looking to transform their outdoor space. read more

Didi several high priced projects for me buy after a year the the work started to show its true nature, These guys are very nice but the ultimately their work doesn't last or stand the test of time. I had a studio built and it's now infested with mold because of shoddy waterproofing 3 years and it's probably been an issue for longer than that. I may literally have to tear it down at this point. A fence they installed has rusted and needs a full repaint. I would not recommend. 3 years or 5 years is irrelevant after further inspection it is plainly obvious that there was essentially zero waterproofing done and as a contractor GA should have been able to foresee the potential issues and make appropriate recommendations. That plus the fact that there is rarely if ever substantial rain in LA just makes their excuses seem more unreasonable. Regardless the work was poorly done for a premium price. Definitely look elsewhere. read more

We enlisted Green Advisors to redo the backyard landscaping of our new house and we REALLY needed help. the yard had crab grass, random concrete everywhere and no cohesive design. Shai was really collaborative and helpful and had a vision for our space that was just what we were hoping for. With his team, in five days they transformed our backyard. We loved the care and skill they used to lay the interlocking paver pathways, the fire pit area, sod and leveling... everything is really incredible. they were helpful and clear with explaining the irrigation system and even came back after the job was complete to add some extra finishing touches. Green Advisors Inc. exceeded all our expectations! From the initial consultation to the final touches, Shai and Owen were professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly skilled. We have done other construction projects in the past and they were by far the best contractors we have ever worked with. There will always be surprises that come during construction and what made them so amazing was how solution-oriented they were and didn't hassle us over small changes, they just made the changes in the best interest of doing the job to our satisfaction. Shai and Owen completely transformed our yard and thoughtfully walked through each aspect, providing creative suggestions and even being honest on areas we can be efficient with our budget. The craftsmanship and attention to detail were outstanding. Every plant and stone was placed with precision, creating a cohesive and visually stunning landscape. Beyond the quality of their work, what really stood out was their exceptional customer service. Shai and Owen were punctual, responsive, and always willing to answer our questions. They set up a WhatsApp group chat to keep us in constant communication on the project. I never knew how valuable this was working with a contractor. The guys who did the work were so professional, trustworthy and skilled. We felt very comfortable with all the workers who were at our house each day. Beyond being exceptional landscape architects and contractors, they had the ability to take things a step further to complete our full project. We added a door to have direct access to our new yard and moved our washer/dryer to the garage to accommodate space for a new pantry next to the kitchen. If you're looking for a landscape contractor that delivers top-tier results with professionalism and integrity, Green Advisors Inc. is the perfect choice. We highly recommend them and will definitely be using their services again in the future. After the project Shai and Owen weren't just contractors, they were our friends. read more

We remodeled our house in 2022-2023 and in the process our back yard was trashed--but after nearly a year of interior remodeling and adding square footage to our house, we could not face tackling another project and the seemingly endless delays that accompany typical construction. We kept putting off redoing our back yard. Then I noticed that at a house down the block, they were doing extensive, beautiful outdoor work with impressive speed, and the sign out front indicated that it was being done by Green Advisor. From the day I contacted the company, Shai and everyone on his team have exceeded expectations. In addition to redoing the back yard with new planter beds, artificial turf, pavers, and low-voltage lighting, they replaced my cracked and stained driveway and front walkways with gorgeous pavers. Carlos and his crew were impeccably considerate of my neighbors, responded quickly to any adjustments I asked for, and worked swiftly to turn what we had envisioned into reality. Shlomi helpfully provided expert advice on the right plants to select for our conditions and preferences. The only time I was unhappy with a small portion of what had been done, it was corrected immediately. My back yard looks gorgeous now, and I have no doubt it will look even more beautiful as the new plants we put in grow and mature. Most of all, I can hardly believe how quickly they transformed our sad patch of muddy yard into a lovely space we'll be able to enjoy throughout the summer and for years to come, and how much the new driveway, new front steps, and low-voltage stair lights have improved the curb appeal of my house. I'm not sure 5 stars is enough! read more

Honestly, I'm really glad I went with Green Advisor for my backyard project. They did a full remodel for me -- outdoor kitchen, deck, and a patio cover -- and the whole process was a lot smoother than I expected. I was mainly dealing with Owen, and he was super easy to work with. Always responsive, explained things clearly, and just felt honest the whole time. I had a rough idea of what I wanted, and he helped me bring it all together without making it complicated or pushing unnecessary upgrades. Gave good input when needed but also respected what I was trying to do. The crew showed up on time, worked consistently, and kept things moving. No major delays or excuses, which I feel like is rare these days. Pricing was exactly what we agreed on -- no surprises. End result came out really nice. The outdoor kitchen looks clean, the deck feels solid, and the patio cover made a huge difference in how usable the space is. Overall just a solid experience from start to finish. I'd definitely recommend Green Advisor, especially if you get to work with Owen. read more

Green Advisor - Landscape project in the backyard - General Contractors Near Me - Los Angeles, California

Working with Green Advisor was an easy and smooth process. We were recommended to Green Advisor through Yardzen and decided to move forward with them after meeting with Owen. Owen was very thorough and gave us his recommendations to adjust our design based on his expertise, which we accepted. He also gave us a recommendation on how to split our project into two phases so that we could get a portion done with our current budget and then finish up in a few months. Our project included removing our old deck, break up old concrete, building a new Trex deck with a pergola, installing new pavers and creating new plant beds. Once construction started, the team moved incredibly fast and the whole project was done in about a week and a half. The crew, including our foreman, Carlos, was really kind and respectful of our property. We're looking forward to starting phase 2 of the project with this team in a few months! read more

We hired Green Advisor to execute a landscape plan (made by Yardzen) for our front and backyard, and we are so happy with the results. They closely followed the plan where we asked them to and they also offered changes and recommendations that helped us enjoy the space even more. Shai, the owner, really has an eye for this stuff and is confident in what he does. He truly had an unwavering attention to detail and he was committed to ensuring everything was completed to perfection. Green Advisor didn't cut corners; they went above and beyond to guarantee our satisfaction with the investment. (They even helped us a year later when a pipe broke in our front yard. Amazing.) Redoing your yard is a big deal--it can be quite expensive and disruptive. However, choosing Green Advisor was the best decision we made. Shai and his team managed the entire overhaul with professionalism and care, minimizing the disruption while creating a yard we love. We're thrilled with our outdoor space now and highly recommend Green Advisor to anyone considering a landscape transformation. read more

Great quality of work where the design pretty much matched the final result. Great communication from Owen, Carlos and crew. They were always on time and finished well in advance, anticipating rain and even hiring twice as many crew to complete the project at least a week ahead of time, all while keeping it professional. Green Advisor did a major transformation for our property, with hardscaping using pavers, landscaping, lighting, irrigation, gravel and stepping stones in the backyard, plus driveway pavers. The quality of work was amazing. The plants were all assembled in the exact same locations as Owen promised us. The paver work was exceptional, lighting and drip irrigation was done flawlessly, and the stepping stones surrounded by gravel looked immaculate. Owen showed great attention to detail, explaining the pros and cons of every plant at the nursery, which was unexpected and really helped us pick the right plants in the right quantity. The service was great value for money with no hidden charges. The price Owen gave in the beginning was what we paid, except for any structural additions we made, which were always communicated clearly. Owen's professionalism, guidance, and communication made us choose Green Advisor. He was consistent from day one until the completion of the project. We could fully trust him with our decisions and he always had a lot of great ideas without being pushy. It truly felt like a collaboration and we worked together as a team. read more
