Husband didn't finish filet.

Terrible! My partner and I finally made our way to Green Acres after driving by and seeing a full parking lot, each time. Unfortunately, this restaurant was not worth the excursion. The steak was dry and had no flavor, and the specialty salmon was blah. So disappointed. The service was also unfortunately disappointing. Distracted server, very confused as to when she was coming around and for what, water, appetizer, taking order, bringing food, or clearing dishes. Don't bother in dressing up. This is casual dining at high price menu items that won't meet your expectations.

Feels like a large open homey space.we ate on the second floor. The food was adequate but the prices were exorbitant. If you are going to pay these prices go to Ishnala ( the food is better as is the ambiance)

Upstairs is the best space!

Love Green Acre for a weeknight or weekend fun! Staff are on their game all the time, the drinks are good, food portions are huge. We had a reservation on a Friday that we made a hour and a half before arriving. Have a drink at the bar before eating and request upstairs dining, the ambience is better up there!

Service and ambiance are great. Food quality is poor and tonight my medium well filet was burnt beyond recognition. So disappointed

The asparagus was okay, again no salt or pepper here. My boyfriends steak tasted much better. The garlic mashed potatoes are also good. We ordered a bourbon old fashioned and it was super good. For dessert the star of the night was the triple berry creme brulee. It was decadent. Wr enjoyed it very much. Would we return? Absolutely. I would just order something else next time. Ishnala Supper Club, what a wild place…read more We left home at 4:00 PM, ate at 9:30 PM, and got home at 11:15. Yes, you read that correctly. We spent roughly 3 1/2-4 hours waiting -- and somehow, by the end of the night, it had become the accepted experience. We literally drank our way through all four bars while we waited. By the time we finally sat down, we had fully committed to that adventure. And honestly? Ishnala IS beautiful. The architecture and ambiance inside are genuinely spectacular. It has an old-school, tucked-away Wisconsin supper club magic that feels like an experience rather than just dinner. I've lived in the Manhattan and the Palm Beaches and I have waited for some pretty exceptional meals - but I have never waited 3-4 hours for dinner in my life. Would I say the food is on the level of the creative, innovative, technically impressive food I've had in those places? Absolutely not. There is no creativity, ingenuity, exotic ingredients, or culinary precision you might find at a high-end restaurant in the city. But here's the thing: every single bite was actually delicious. We had a surf-and-turf meal, and everything was genuinely satisfying. Nothing felt like a letdown after the wait. It was classic, rich, well-executed food in an absolutely gorgeous setting. So is Ishnala worth driving hours and waiting four hours for? I'm not sure I could answer that for everyone. But was it a funny, completely ridiculous, memorable Wisconsin experience that we'll be talking about for years? 100%. And honestly, sometimes that's what a great night out is about. Next time? I'd bring games. Pro tip- talk to the other people waiting and laugh about the ridiculousness of it all.

What a classy, charming place! Ishnala was the total package…read more We requested the famous "table 15" which has been shown on book covers, in articles, and TV features, and the view of Mirror Lake was incredible. Our server, Csenge, was a superstar! So friendly, kind, and knowledgeable, in addition to appearing at just the right times to check in. For entrees we had the prime rib with lobster and asparagus, as well as horseradish encrusted new york strip with sweet potato bake. I highly enjoyed my prime rib and lobster, they were both delicious and a true treat. My husband had steak in front of him one minute and it seemed the next time I glanced over, it was gone. One thing he savored was the sweet potato bake; we've never seen that on a supper club menu to date and he insisted I try it as he loved it that much. As we were finishing our meal, the owner came over to our table to check in and inquire as to how we enjoyed the experience as well as our food. That's a very rare touch in today's day & age. When we were heading to our vehicle after dinner, my hubby said tonight's date night was one he'd always remember.

Recently had my first experience at The Del-bar and so enjoyed it!…read more The Del-bar is a supper club type spot in Lake Delton mixing up great classic cocktails and supper club fare in a chic dining room. For my cocktail, I got a classic bourbon Manhattan served up. It was pitch perfect. For my dinner, I got the scallops where were saucy and seared to absolute perfection (not something everyone gets right--they do). For dessert, my dining companion and I shared a slice of their peanut butter cream pie, which was, of course--a delight. Chocolate crust meets rich peanut buttery cream pie with chocolate sauce and chopped peanuts on top. Truly, what's not to love? Our server was kind and attentive throughout. Get to it!

The shits out of the horse and you can't put it back in, no matter how hard you try. The feeling of the original Del Bar is gone. Along with all of the familiar long time faces we've recognized. Especially the bartender we befriended who created the Del bars espresso martini as it is now. Congrats Del Bar. You're not special any longer. Ordered the fried clams appetizer which was good but many pieces were so small and thin that they seemed pure batter and no clam. The escargo was covered in a mexi-cheese blend that I found strange at first but tastes delicious- just more like Wisconsin escargo then French . We also had the dynamite shrimp. They have a very mild kick from the mayo sauce. I'm not a mayo fan and this did not change my mind, but those of us at the table who like mayo thought they were good. For dinner I had the perch fish fry with potatoes au gratin. My first bite of the potatoes was cheesy goodness. I really, really liked these. One of my dining companions felt like there should have been more and I would certainly have eaten more, but I thought the portion size was good. There were six perch fillets. The perch was delicious. I would have preferred a lighter batter, but I would definitely order this again. For dessert a couple of us ordered ice-cream drinks. They mudslide and the salted caramel. The restaurant is fairly small, but cozy. The ambiance is very relaxed and social. It was a bit noisy but a good noisy, not obnoxious noisy; people having good conversations and lots of laughing. Our server greeted us in a timely manner and took our drink order. I ordered an old fashioned, my wife a Hugo spritz. Both were fantastic but just a heads up, the drinks were relatively strong. The menu is relatively small but still enough to choose from and not be disappointed. My wife and I both ordered the 5 oz filet with shrimp. We split a side of green beans. When our food reached our table, we thought that it might not be enough to fill us but we were more than full afterwards and agreed that anything bigger might be too much. The food was excellent, one of the better steaks I've had in a while. The service was good and our server, Sammy, did a real nice job of taking care of us without being overly intrusive. Prices were appropriate for the quality, maybe a little higher than you would expect but still worth it. If you're looking for a high quality, local small town steak experience that isn't a chain, I highly recommend Driftless Social.
