FANTASTIC, FANTASTIC, FANTASTIC! We ordered carry out prime rib dinners and they were great. Prime rib melted on the tongue. The baked potatoes were even extraordinary. I had a Caesar Salad....yes, a Caesar salad from a bar in a small town. The staff asked if we wanted to add mushrooms and onions...Sure, I said. (The mushrooms weren't just mushrooms, I believe they were shiitake mushrooms! What!? ) We called back to have a horseradish sauce included and the CHEF said "Oh, I can make that for you." After a restful Saturday working around our property, it was a restful dinner. We appreciate the great food in our area...and 30 minutes away - worth the drive.

    Comfort for the game!

Super cheap food! Really good for the price. Fun environment when sports games are on.

First time customer, first time reviewer. I'll give you the highs and lows of this establishment…read more Pros: No wait Very friendly staff Super cool hostess/bartender Delish drinks and not expensive at all Cons Long wait for drinks and food High cost for only average food Missing items Details: We started with an old fashioned and a manhattan. I kept eye-balling the prohibition drink but decided against it. Drinks were very reasonable to what I've paid in more populated areas, but probably priced right for the area. However, it took so long for them to come out, that I changed my mind and went with the prohibition. That was an excellent choice. One drink felt like two drinks and it was so good, an orange colored concoction in a tall hurricane type glass. The manhattan was served in a martini glass and it was equally tasty, but not as strong. We ordered the jumbo shrimp pan fried in butter and the glazed pork chop. Our salads came our first and the cucumbers were transparent and browning, as well as some of the lettuce. The ranch and bleu cheese dressing were decent and I ate around any bad bits, but the lack of freshness was apparent. The warm bread basket which I was looking forward to, never arrived. We probably could have said something, but by that point, just kind of decided not to worry about it. My jumbo shrimp were pretty tasty, but the dish was very bland overall. The sweet potato waffle fries were a bit raw on the inside and looked like your average frozen waffle fries. Hubby's pork chop was moist with moderate flavor, not very overwhelming. His baked potato was cold and waitress never brought the sour cream, which he didn't mention until the end of the meal. I have looked at other supper clubs within the radius and for $20, the shrimp dish was over-priced by about $4. For the price we paid and the lack of freshness, great flavor and missing items, this was just a miss in my opinion. I would go back again to have great drinks and maybe try their pizza, so I'm giving it 3 stars for the great service and drinks this time.

Servings were very very generous. One person ordered blue gill and smiled the whole meal. Baked potatoes were pretty standard, but the cole slaw was excellent. Meals came with a roll and butter. As I've said before, this is the best fish fry in the region. Highly recommend without any reservations. Try it, but go early. Sometimes it's very busy.

My crispy chicken sandwich was perfectly cooked and was bursting with flavor. The bartender was really sweet, too. Even though the place was jammed, she was friendly and attentive. We sat outside, which has a beautiful view of the countryside, a lush rolling hill to the south. The ambiance outside was relaxing. Inside was another story, but that's because someone had organized a BINGO... Is it a game? A BINGO game? I'd definitely go back. (Quick note on the pandemic: Management doesn't require masks. I'm not entirely on board with that, but I noticed that was the norm in this part of Wisconsin. If you're like me and have already recovered from COVID, you're okay here; if you're worried about getting the disease or being a carrier, your best bet would be to avoid this place.)

The space is located along the Wisconsin River and the large windows in the cafe allow for a breathtaking view while enjoying lunch. The menu is quite small which I appreciated but still had a hard time deciding what I wanted to enjoy because they all sounded so yummy. They use fresh local ingredients as much as possible ensuring that they support the local region and aligns beautifully with the concept of Frank Lloyd Wright. It was a rainy day so I opted for comfort with grilled cheese and a soup of the day. The gooey cheese sandwich with aged cheddar and Gouda paired perfectly with my potato bacon soup. My friend opted for the kale chicken salad that included ingredients for a scrumptious fall salad with pepitas, cranberries, butternut squash, goat cheese and sherry shallot dressing. The set up is order at the counter, find a seat and they bring your food to you. It was a really quiet day and our food came out quickly. The staff seemed to be out of sight much of the time so if you needed something it was a little bit of a wait. I had asked for a box but they didn't bring it and I ended up having to ask again.
