This campground was amazing. We stayed over Labor Day weekend and enjoyed it so much we booked for…read morenext year before leaving. They have a bar/restaurant, little store, canoeing, kayaking, park, playground, clean bathroom and shower house, pickle ball, miniature golf and live music and fireworks. Right next door there is Liza's lagoon with a jumping pillow and wibits. Just a mile down the road was a dog park. Needless to say we were so busy during the day we slept great each night. The restaurant had great food, it was a little busier than expected but I'm sure that had to do with the fish fry going on. The campground was very well run, quiet time at 10pm and the drive the campground to check! Unfortunately, I was so busy making memories I have no pictures to share.

Located on the Wisconsin River, it's a casual restaurant with a River view. Locals seem to gather…read morehere to enjoy the beer and food. We each had a Ribeye Steak, which was cooked nicely. I had a baked potato while my son had mashed potatoes. If you're looking to get stuffed, get the mashed as the amount looked enormous. For the side salad, you get one trip to the salad bar which had enough choices to make most people happy. We sat at the bar and received great service from the bartender. I had several of the special Pink Drink (for $4 per drink, why wouldn't you?) and it was quite refreshing. All in all, it was a really pleasant dinner.

The Cole slaw was unusual - a vinegar base, not a creamy one. I liked it! Decor is very unusual, with a medieval theme. Perfect date night place for gamer nerds!

Sat down, ordered a couple drinks. They asked us to please close out our drink order before we were seated for dining. Once we were called maybe 10 minutes later, we asked the bartender to close us out as asked, but she told us she was busy and had other things to do first. Sat around several more minutes before another woman stepped in and helped out. Kinda weird but no biggie. Then we were seated in a nice area, the lights were shining directly in our eyes but it was private so who cares. The place was maybe half-full, if that. We put our order in right away. Then waited. And waited. And waited. We had a couple hockey puck rolls to snack on in the meantime. Our food came out about an hour and a half later. I was about to throw in the towel and leave when they finally brought the food. They said it was because a prom party threw them off. I'll say it again, the place was barely half full. On a Saturday night. They were nice enough but it really brought us down and it was my husband's birthday at that. They asked if they could give us a dessert but by then we had been there over 2 hours with no food and I completely lost my appetite. I watched 2 other tables get served and leave in the time we had been sitting there. We ate for 15 minutes before we packed up and left. Overall, really disappointing. I guess they were severely understaffed for a Saturday. And didn't account for prom apparently? But again, the place was maybe half full. Not sure what's going on but management should take a look at how they staff. The food was fine. Anyway, definitely will not go back.
