This place blew me away! We stopped in for a late (1pm) breakfast or lunch before doing some fishing in the Fennimore area. I was impressed by the decor and the service immediately. Our waitress was attentive and equipped to deal with our punchy demeanor. Three of us ordered burgers, which come with a side salad. My side salad was a simple lettuce, cucumber, and tomato salad with a creamy italian. Nothing impressive but good enough. My black and bleu burger was delicious! This was a blackened cajun burger with bleu cheese dressing. I ordered mine with some grilled onions and pickles. By the time I added a little ketchup and mustard, I had one of the best burgers I've consumed in some time. One of my friends had the bacon bacon bacon burgers. Aptly named, indeed! It looked pretty good, and he said it was. The fourth member of our group had the veggie omelette, which he enjoyed and was quite sizable. That was served with toast. The two things that further set Timothy's apart were the bottomless glass of milk (which I've never come across anywhere else), and the crazy large desserts. I ordered the bottomless glass of milk ($2.50), and I went with the option of 1% chocolate milk. You can also get 2% white milk. Two of us ordered the cinnamon rolls, and I'll leave you to check out my photo of it. Words don't do it justice. You can get it with or without the crushed peanuts on top. In short, if you are anywhere in the Fennimore area, stop on in for breakfast or lunch. They are usually only open until 2pm, so be sure to arrive on time. read more

My wife and I drove to Fennimore today just to eat at Timothy's Café. It was our second trip there since moving to Mineral Point about 18 months ago. Our first trip was this past summer when we stumbled upon the café returning from a trip to Wyalusing State Park. We returned to Timothy's Café because we wanted to see if our eating experience there was as good as we remembered it. It was - totally! Today we had the special that included a sandwich, salad bar, soup, and dessert. The salad bar had a great selection of different offerings: EVERYTHING was fresh. We both had the hamburger mushroom soup which we'll give a double thumbs up. We also both had the deep fried fish sandwich. We love a good Wisconsin fish fry and have had the great fortune to eat at number of excellent places around the state. Timothy's Café's deep fried fish sandwich actually rivals some of the best Friday fish fry servings we've had in the past at other highly touted places. The sandwich comes with three big pieces of deep fried haddock. We ended up taking half of the fish home along with our dessert - we were that full. The dessert, by the way, was a cream puff and bread pudding w/caramel sauce: Five star excellent. And you just can't beat the price for their sandwich special - You just can't. We also want to give a shout out to the superb service from our waitress and the cook/owner - super friendly, personable and quick! We have added Timothy's Café to our personal short list of our Hall of Fame eating places which include Café 43 here in Mineral Point, the Hilltop Café in Fairbanks, Alaska (where we lived for 20 yrs) and the Coconut Grill in Hilo, Hawaii (where I am from). Why drive to Fennimore? For us we have one great reason: Timothy's Café. read more

Excellent food, excellent service, extremely clean, large variety on salad bar and menu. Owner and staff keep everything hopping! While we live an hour and a half north of there, we would go for breakfast and/or lunch much more often than once a week!!! read more

Well, since there really are no places to have breakfast for 40 miles - Timothy's has an edge. No competition. With that said it the food was pretty good! The food was all very fresh tasting and the potatoes (both hash browns and the American fries ) were very good and NOT greasy at all. It was a pretty good breakfast and the desserts in my photos look Great! read more

We stopped at Timothy's for Brunch based on Yelp reviews, at approximately 11:20 the Sunday before Memorial Day. It was advertised as having Bakery, but I was disappointed to find that there was no Bakery at all that day. The restaurant is fairly small, but can seat more than expected, by seating several parties at larger communal tables. They were about 2/3 full when we arrived, and we were seated immediately at a communal table. Most of the Patrons were very friendly Locals that were enjoying each others company and weren't in a hurry, and had already received their food. Two waitresses worked the room, and after about 10 minutes, one of them came and asked if we wanted drinks or Coffee. We had already grabbed menus, so were ready to order, and I told the Waitress that we were in a little bit of a hurry, but she wasn't ready to take our order at that point, so she came back about 15 minutes later to take our food order. After we placed our food order, it took 65 minutes!!!! for our food to arrive. I had the Eggs Benedict, and my husband had the Steak and Eggs and a Pancake. The food was good, but both plates were overly salty, and my Husband even saw salt crystals on his toast, so we wondered how that happened. After we finished eating, the waitress asked how everything was, and because it took so long, I asked if there was a new cook in the kitchen, to which she replied No, that it took a long time when they were very busy, which was somewhat perplexing to us, because they didn't appear to be extremely busy when we arrived. In summary, if you like to go to local restaurants, and enjoy visiting with friendly Locals, and you're not in a Hurry, you may enjoy a stop at Timothy's. read more

I was looking for a small town cafe for breakfast when I found Timothy's on TripAdvisor. The place is just the right size for a family cafe. There is plenty of seating from groups of two to at least 8. The place is shiny......no dust and grease on the wall hangings and tables, chairs and floor when well cleaned. Timothy's food is excellent!! The breakfast is generous and made to order, even crispy or soft bacon. The raisin toast was home baked and delicious. Wait staff was attentive and the food was served within a realistic amount of time for the number of customers always coming and going. Would go there again in a heartbeat!! read more

We recently had lunch at Timothy's while in Fennimore. It is without question deserving four or five start. Restaurant was very clean and the help attentive and courteous. I had the Reuben sandwich and my wife had French toast with blueberries. Both were very good and I challenge anyone to find a Reuben of this quality for $6.
