    Lasagna special

Definitely a supper club vibe to this place. The patio seating was very nice. I ordered the special which was lasagna. It was a nice big serving and the garlic bread was perfect. It came with a trip to the salad bar so for the price it was well worth it. It is cash only. Our server was very nice and our food arrived timely.

This is not a dive bar or restaurant. I would classify it as a destination bar. A supper club type atmosphere. Great food and service. Come in for a surprise. I was.

Four of us stopped by for dinner on Thursday night. Dinner was ok. Salad bar was small but tasty, my shrimp was not hand breaded, but the twice baked potato made the meal. My friend had the lasagna special and it was good, but the marinara was a tad sweet for me. Other friend had the sirloin steak and she said it was good and she loved the fries! The road in front of the place is getting redone so gravel road driving was necessary, not bad though. Staff was super friendly! We sat outside and the patio area is a place I would go back to. Cash only, but atm onsite.

Wow, what an absolutely beautiful location and restaurant!!! We often hike at Indian Lake down the road and have passed by this place many times wanting to stop in to check it out. Well, today was the PERFECT day to grab a bite to eat and have a few cocktails!!! The service is wonderful as it is under new ownership. They are looking to hire more staff so it may be a tab slow but the cocktails are AMAZING so get enjoy the atmosphere on the outdoor patio - you won't regret it! Mushroom Burger was delicious. Wings were crispy. We also checked out the building next door available for party rentals and were blown away! We'll definitely be having an event here in the future.

Food is decent, but the beer is $7 for spotted cow. Spent too much money there. Probably won't go back.

Great fish fry with cod, walley, shrimp. The food is decent with a typical salad bar selection. Expect a long wait but with it.

Went there for the first time. Everything was fabulous. The sirloin steak was the best I ever had. Very reasonable too.

Menu provided a board selection and included kids options. Two decided on the breakfast special - eggs, pancakes and bacon. Portions were large and food was served hot from the kitchen. The other two adults had French toast and biscuits and gravy. French toast serving was modest and short on syrup. Biscuits really was biscuit. Gravy was lacking flavor. Sausage patties came with both orders. Kids meals were pasta and pizza, again nothing special. Bottom line ... the place is very nice. It's large and open to outside lighting. Service was good, no complaints there, but the food lacked flavor and originality. We will return and test the menu further.

Took a while to get seated, as the attendant seemed to be busy carrying out plates of food and making drinks at the end of the bar. After getting seated, we ordered drinks and three entrees (two specialty salads, a pasta meal, and a burger). The drinks came relatively fast, but the service on the food was incredibly slow. Well over an hour's wait. At one point I guessed, "They must be growing lettuce for the salad." Food arrived, but incorrectly prepared on one of the salads. The server offered "I specifically told them dressing on the side...I can bring it back and get it made over." We had already waited well over an hour, so we just took it as it was fearing an even longer delay. Actually, three of the meals were quite good (except for the overpriced and totally unremarkable burger), but I doubt any of us will return after the sluggish service. It was such a lengthy wait for the food and the server was so harried and overworked that ordering desserts was not offered. We had to get up and walk in search of a way to pay our bill. Good food, but that does not in itself make for a great dining experience.

He had the side salad with it and he did mention it could have been dressed a bit more. And then our DIL got the arancini as a meal and that is mentioned above. We finished off with crème brûlée. That was excellent. The ambiance is nice and comfortable. Wasn't too loud which i appreciate. Highly recommend.

We usually end the meal with the creme brulee and flourless chocolate cake, which are both such a nice cap to the meal. The cocktails are fun and rotate with the season. I saw ductwork in the rafters; maybe the AC was not working? We went for Mother's Day brunch. It was probably not their best culinary showing, buffets usually aren't. I was not a fan of the Cheesy Hash Brown and Egg Casserole. It was the texture, not so much the taste. The French toast was a good mixture of cinnamon and sugar, but only if you could find the pieces that weren't dried out. I liked the bacon: salty, well cooked and crunchy. The flank steak was tender and tasty. Prepared to a perfect medium and marinaded in a nice meaty broth. The chicken in the Lemon Chicken Piccata was overcooked, dry, resulting in a tough chew. I did enjoy the Mushroom Strudel. A moist dish with a tasty gravy drizzle. I would've liked to try the bread pudding with caramel sauce, but they apparently ran out. The other desserts were ok. They looked like they were hastily cut into slices and served on the thinnest of paper plates. I could tell those running the place were also a bit frustrated; they made their feelings rather vocal, easy for all seated to hear (that's like a major rule of restauranting: the issues in the back should never be exposed in the front, where the customers can hear.) All in all, not a good first impression. But, I am willing to return and have a normal sit-down meal. Then I can see how they do. I have been told that their service and food is usually pretty solid. We shall see.....
