Hash browns with cheese & onions (left) Cheese crusted NY Strip (right)

Great food and excellent service at this cozy small-town supper club. Went on a Friday, but we both tried steaks instead of fish fry. My partner was very impressed with his cheese-crusted New York strip! Melt in your mouth goodness. I enjoyed the filet with grilled shrimp--delicious A+ The steaks were even tender as leftovers the following day! Definitely will return to Driftless Social.

Checked out Driftless Social for brunch on Sunday. Had reservations- but there was plenty of room. We had martini's - mine was hazelnut flavor which was quite yummy and my friend had the caramel latte - it was good. But be forewarned very sweet. I had the tenderloin tips sizzler - which had plenty of tenderloin tips- I had it with scrambled eggs but best time I would do an over easy egg. I really enjoyed it. It also comes with onions and peppers, hash browns and fruit. A very filling meal. Service was good and would live to check out their dinner menu sometime.

This was a stop while hanging out with friends in small town WI . It's in downtown with all the other places that serves food and has a bar area. It's a nice place and maybe the old school term as the yuppie spot in town that looks like the trendy people hang out at. The food I can't speak about but the manhattans and craft gin Ricky's were good with craft booze, not dive bar booze. The place was nice with exposed brick walls, an old space. The bartender was friendly and knowledgeable about the spirits and made awesome recommendations.

Great meeting place in downtown Mount Horeb, it was hopping on a Saturday evening. Bright lighted sign out front but not a lot of fanfare. This place has been open for drinks for some time. Pretty extensive martini menu for the suburbs. Wines, beer, and a fun atmosphere. They have a popcorn machine in the corner with seasoning to dress up your basket. They don't serve meals yet but sounds like food service is coming.

Omg, finally a great martini! How hard is it to give 1 or three olives.

Very good food and great folks to serve you. Grandsons of the famous Smokey's owner in Madison. Remodeled space is very nice.

My whole family had another wonderful dinner experience. It was packed, so it was a bit louder, but we didn't mind. We were distracted by all the food. The cheese curds were lightly breaded and fried perfectly. They even had a bit of a squeak. The haystacks were enjoyed even by my family who didn't like onions. The prize app were the pork bellies. Tender, meaty, and covered with a sweet tangy bourbon glaze. I could've eaten those as an entree! My filet was a perfect med-rare. Tender with just the right amount of char. The ribeye was prepared with the same tender perfection as well. My son, who lives in Chicago, said his steak rivaled those of the steakhouses in Windy City. He really enjoyed his filet. The scallops were seared to perfection, and they were nestled in a bed of soft, warm, creamy risotto. And I mean CREAMY. It's the way they should be made. HPSH doesn't skimp either on the number of scallops; we had to box up the rest. We didn't have room for dessert, but we did box some up for later.....and they tasted great. Can't wait til our next visit to High Point!

I had the new menu feature - Scallops with Butternut Squash Risotto. It was amazing! Highly recommend. And, we had my all-time favorite ice cream drink for dessert - a Charlie Brown. The service is great and the ambiance is truly WI supper club!

We got a resevation a week before, and it was a good thing. This place books up quickly, so if you want to get a seat, CALL FIRST! We arrived several minutes early out of respect to assure if they had an opening, we could be seated. Our seating was perfectly aligned with our reservation. We had a nice seat in a long room, with typical western regalia on the walls and ceilings. I should note the servers who were on the tall side were experts at tipping their heads to avoid the lighting. We started with an order of Flaming Saganaki (the sign does say GREEK Steak House) which arrived at the table sizzling, and created quite a large flame when it was lit up with a hearty OOOPA from the servers. It tasted as good as saganaki usually does of course. The salads came out, and were quite good. You have your choice of dressings, which were more than enough to cover the salad. I failed to mention the bread and butter, which while not pictured, were very good. The entrees came out - my wife had ordered the 20 ounce Prime Rib, and it was beautiful. I honestly had second thoughts about my Filet order her Prime Rib was so spectacular, and fortunately for me, she took pity on my eyes and gave me a few chunks to enjoy. The Filet Mignon was perfect. So tender, so juicy, and well-seasoned. I cut it in increasingly smaller pieces to enjoy it more. We really enjoyed our visit, and we believe you'd enjoy it too!

We ordered the saganaki to start, which was flambéed table side and it was fresh and delicious. We shared the porterhouse and the lamb chops (which were loins, not ribs) and there was an extra $8 charge on shared plates. The porterhouse was very tasty and cooked to perfection. The filet portion was my favorite part. The lamb loin chops were very thick and came with 4 large pieces. Each order came with a side salad or soup, and some type of potato, with many options to choose from. I love the Greek influence on this steak house restaurant. This is a great place to celebrate a special occasion or for a nice dinner.
