Beautiful noon lunch on the outside patio. End of season, pier was in. Lots of migratory diving ducks near shore which made it entertaining. My grilled chicken sandwich and coleslaw was perfect as was my wife's walleye sandwich. You must order at the bar here and the food was brought out in a timely fashion. Plenty of parking and nice bartender. A five star lunch!

Great lakefront location- it's really beautiful at Christy's. I had the black bean burger, which was pretty good. I'm very thankful the server told me it doesn't actually come with any lettuce or tomatoes or anything- just a sad party on a bun. I would have been disappointed had that showed up. My son got the kids burger. I didn't try it but he didn't eat very much of it. My aunt got one of the chicken salads, which looked great- lots of chicken on a bed of lettuce. I wish I would have gotten that!

Dinner out with my wife on a holiday weekend, we chose Christy's landing because of the lakeside views and outdoor seating (though the day was a little more blustery than we had hoped). It was clear to see that they were understaffed (as our server admitted to us). It took a while for someone to come help us but after we were established, the service was fairly attentive. The menu was a page long and held few surprises, mostly familiar fare like burgers, chicken strips, and cheese curds. We shared onion rings, which were unremarkable. The Boss Hog burger that I ordered was surprisingly hefty, laden with ham, bacon, cheese, onion rings, jalapeños, and bbq sauce. A good burger, but again fairly ordinary outside of how loaded-up it was. My wife's black bean burger was a let-down, looked like a grocery store burger slightly over cooked and put on a bun with no toppings. Overall, if you're looking for a chill vibe by the water and don't necessarily care about the food, you could definitely have a good experience. If you are looking for an above-average meal without loud country music blasting at you, look elsewhere.

The food was so good! My parents and I went out for an early dinner on a Saturday night. We were given a table quickly and food service was a lot better than my first time here. The uniqueness of their space still amazes me! Such a beautiful view and lots to look at inside as well. The waitress this time could have checked on us more though. My Mom ran out of water and shared mine. Both my Dad and I would have ordered another beer, and hence adding to the tab. All in all, still a good experience. The Boss Hog Burger in particular was amazing! A burger with Swiss and American cheeses, ham, fried onion rings, jalapeños, BBQ sauce, AND bacon!!!

Great place on Lake Waubesa! Sat outside under the tiki bar. I ordered the Christy Burger with waffle fries. Yummy!!!

    Nachos!!

Right on Lake Waubesa which is awesome. Easy to dock your boat. Nice outside area. And the nachos are amazing. That said WORST SERVICE EVER. We sat inside and literally 4 servers walked right by us saying nothing. Finally flagged someone down who was annoyed to have to take our orders. Ordered a double Captain diet. Tasted like just cola. Next time we were there also zero service. Didn't even bother to flag some annoyed waitress down, we just left. We'll probably be back because of the boat and the nachos but won't order a cocktail and know the service will be crap.

Chicken filet was huge! Tomato, Union and lettuce on the sandwich. The Cajun sauce was flavorful with a little kick, not too much though. Overall pretty good!

The service was amazing, the food was delicious. The server I was blessed with was outstanding, I think her name was Taylor, tall and blonde. she checked in on us many times and made sure we were doing well!! Christy's Landing is now my boating day go to !!!

I've been here a few times before, but decided to finally write a review after last night. Each time we come here it's so much fun! Sometimes we come by boat, others by car. It's such a neat place for relaxing in the summer. The parmesan cod is my favorite dish, and my husband's deep fried cod was equally delicious. You really can't go wrong here!

Great atmosphere and their Nashville hot chicken sandwich is to die for. And their nachos. And it's on a lake. What more could you ask for?

We were seated 40 minutes after our reservation time. Explanations for the wait were: our table wasn't ready yet, they needed to clear off a table, earlier tables lingered longer than expected, it was table change over time, they needed two more minutes. Interestingly, we walked past at least three empty, freshly set tables as we were seated that would have accommodated our party. Our table was not fully set when we sat down. The food was mediocre. Prime rib was tough, ham was tasteless, mashed potatoes were good, mac and cheese was okay, salad bar was basic, dessert was okay. Not worth $40 per person. Service was acceptable given the buffet dinner. Appropriate cash tip was left. We have had far better experiences at the Maple Tree in the past. This is why we chose to make reservations for Easter dinner. We were offered no discount or compensation for our trouble. Very disappointed.

Sausage patties came with both orders. Kids meals were pasta and pizza, again nothing special. Bottom line ... the place is very nice. It's large and open to outside lighting. We came on a Friday night, the one day they do not accept reservations. When we arrived, it was 3 deep all around the very large bar. It actually didn't take too long to get drinks. My son and I got the Old Fashioned, which EVERYONE orders. (My wife got a gin and tonic. ) The way it works here on Friday nights is you tell the bartender you'd like to eat dinner. He sends a waitress to take the order. So we did that. The bartender gave us expectation for 2.5 hours to be seated. So we drink several Old Fashioneds, but in the end, it only took 75 minutes to seat us. My son and I had steak and perch. Yes, you read that correctly. And we both stated that we liked the perch more than the steak. All in all, we were very pleased with our evening. We'll come back next time we're in Madison.
