Beautiful noon lunch on the outside patio. End of season, pier was in. Lots of migratory diving ducks near shore which made it entertaining. My grilled chicken sandwich and coleslaw was perfect as was my wife's walleye sandwich. You must order at the bar here and the food was brought out in a timely fashion. Plenty of parking and nice bartender. A five star lunch!

Great lakefront location- it's really beautiful at Christy's. I had the black bean burger, which was pretty good. I'm very thankful the server told me it doesn't actually come with any lettuce or tomatoes or anything- just a sad party on a bun. I would have been disappointed had that showed up. My son got the kids burger. I didn't try it but he didn't eat very much of it. My aunt got one of the chicken salads, which looked great- lots of chicken on a bed of lettuce. I wish I would have gotten that!

Dinner out with my wife on a holiday weekend, we chose Christy's landing because of the lakeside views and outdoor seating (though the day was a little more blustery than we had hoped). It was clear to see that they were understaffed (as our server admitted to us). It took a while for someone to come help us but after we were established, the service was fairly attentive. The menu was a page long and held few surprises, mostly familiar fare like burgers, chicken strips, and cheese curds. We shared onion rings, which were unremarkable. The Boss Hog burger that I ordered was surprisingly hefty, laden with ham, bacon, cheese, onion rings, jalapeños, and bbq sauce. A good burger, but again fairly ordinary outside of how loaded-up it was. My wife's black bean burger was a let-down, looked like a grocery store burger slightly over cooked and put on a bun with no toppings. Overall, if you're looking for a chill vibe by the water and don't necessarily care about the food, you could definitely have a good experience. If you are looking for an above-average meal without loud country music blasting at you, look elsewhere.

The food was so good! My parents and I went out for an early dinner on a Saturday night. We were given a table quickly and food service was a lot better than my first time here. The uniqueness of their space still amazes me! Such a beautiful view and lots to look at inside as well. The waitress this time could have checked on us more though. My Mom ran out of water and shared mine. Both my Dad and I would have ordered another beer, and hence adding to the tab. All in all, still a good experience. The Boss Hog Burger in particular was amazing! A burger with Swiss and American cheeses, ham, fried onion rings, jalapeños, BBQ sauce, AND bacon!!!

Great place on Lake Waubesa! Sat outside under the tiki bar. I ordered the Christy Burger with waffle fries. Yummy!!!

    Nachos!!
    Becky S.

Right on Lake Waubesa which is awesome. Easy to dock your boat. Nice outside area. And the nachos are amazing. That said WORST SERVICE EVER. We sat inside and literally 4 servers walked right by us saying nothing. Finally flagged someone down who was annoyed to have to take our orders. Ordered a double Captain diet. Tasted like just cola. Next time we were there also zero service. Didn't even bother to flag some annoyed waitress down, we just left. We'll probably be back because of the boat and the nachos but won't order a cocktail and know the service will be crap.

Chicken filet was huge! Tomato, Union and lettuce on the sandwich. The Cajun sauce was flavorful with a little kick, not too much though. Overall pretty good!

The service was amazing, the food was delicious. The server I was blessed with was outstanding, I think her name was Taylor, tall and blonde. she checked in on us many times and made sure we were doing well!! Christy's Landing is now my boating day go to !!!

Great atmosphere and their Nashville hot chicken sandwich is to die for. And their nachos. And it's on a lake. What more could you ask for?

But the illusion fades the moment a Bloody Mary arrives at the table. This is a bar that takes its craft seriously. The cocktail was thoughtfully prepared and balanced, revealing an attention to detail rarely found in establishments trading on casual charm alone. It was very loud with people talking, due to the small space. We sat at our table and waited awhile for a server, but didn't know if we needed to order at the bar. After a while, a waitress arrived to take our order. She was very joyful and friendly. We both ordered the walleye and eggs, which included hashbrowns and toast. My husband added cheese and onions on the hashbrowns at no extra cost. We also ordered a Bloody Mary, which came with a chaser. They arrived with a spear of mozzarella cheese, pimento olive, smoked sausage, and a dill pickle. The walleye had a nice thin crust and the eggs and hashbrowns were cooked perfectly. My better half said that he didn't taste any onions in the hashbrowns and they used American cheese, which made them runny. It was a good breakfast, and we enjoyed our time there. However, due to the loudness, we probably won't go back, as it was hard to have a conversation. Be aware that they only take cash, but they do have an ATM in the building. This establishment definitely had a great atmosphere and service, with friendly staff.

Yes, the wine is obviously good too with a selection for all preferences. I've been here a few times now, and it has quickly become one of my favorites. I cannot get over how good their food is! I've now tried every single flatbread on their menu, and they're all outstanding! Even their steak gorgonzola flatbread is incredible and I don't like steak! They also have the best spinach artichoke dip I've ever tasted, and they're served with these delightful warm pieces of pita bread... I'm pretty sure this stuff came right out of an oven. On my most recent visit, I actually ended up getting an Old Fashioned and my dining mate got a cosmo. Both were absolutely fantastic. The bartender even came over and said the last bit of the cosmo he made tasted like it was heavy on the lime and he offered to re-make it... I'd call that service to the hilt! There was no need to re-make the cosmo, however, as we both found it to be delicious. The bar also has some really great high end liquors and craft beer options. They also have NA options. So, while it is a fun wine bar where you get to self-service pour your own wine, don't let the name fool you -- this place has something for everyone. I've also come here with a friend who has a gluten allergy and they have gluten free bread for their delicious flatbreads. Overall this place is great for an intimate night out or a night out with the girls. They have plenty of seating and an upstairs area with games and such as well. There's an outdoor patio as well for when the weather cooperates. I cannot recommend this place enough!

It's an utter shame how terrible Dane County is about making lake/water space accessible to the public (one thing Chicago does way better than Wisconisn, unfortunately), but Water Street Tavern totally gives me the waterfront dining fix. It's along the river, not the lake, which gives it a bit more of an intimate feel to it. Their outdoor space is absolutely beautiful and I highly recommend checking it out. We came here for our monthly fish fry, never having been here before. We came around 5:30p on a Friday and were told no indoor tables until about 8pm. It was a tad chilly out but we opted for the immediate outdoor table. There is a fireplace out there, but it's more aesthetic than anything, it provided no heat our way but we were find with sweaters. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and super fun to chat with. I wish they had your basic cod on the fish fry menu - and I was surprised they didn't - but I opted for the walleye instead. It's one very large piece but it was pretty good! Crunhcier breading but not excessive. I enjoyed the house old fashioned. I wish they had supper club boozy ice cream dessert drinks, but they don't so I opted for a cocktail as dessert instead. My dining mates got the cheesecake and ate the whole thing. We left around 7:15pm and it was empty inside, not sure what happened there, but either way I'm glad we ended up outside and I will definitely be back here more often now that I've discovered this wonderful place!
