Great pizza but they forgot about making our food and we waited nearly an hour...but the pizza was pretty decent

Ate here in the past but ordered tonight and a huge disappointment. Won't be back and the quality went down.

We have islander pIssa and wings. Both were great. The blueberry hard cider was a must try.

Great for Football. Staff is great. They take great care of their customers and have one of the only tap walls in NOCO

There are very few options to experiment and hopefully call your "go-to" place whenever you're town. Unfortunately, this place will not be mine. Several other reviews have pointed out some concerning issues that this place has and sadly there are quite true. My wife and I bought a coupon for this place on Restaurant.com and decided to give this place a shot on a late Friday afternoon. We walked in to a dark and relatively empty bar. There was some sort of finger food buffet laid out on the table near where you walked in, but we decided to pass on that potentially germ ridden food trap. The place had a foreboding atmosphere which clearly was geared toward a racing theme. Since the weather was nice and eating inside would've been kinda depressing, we found a small table on their patio outside. Still hopeful and optimistic about the food (at least until I started reading some Yelp reviews) we started to read the menu and look for something to satisfy our curious appetite. Our server came over to greet us and seemed pleasant and accommodating. We're avid beer geeks and asked our server about their beer options. She said that she had mainly the macro brews such as budwieser, miller, coors, etc. But they did have one IPA, which was from Black Bottle Brewing. We settled on that option, but it ended up being kinda stale and flat, which made us wonder just how long they've had that keg on tap. We ended up ordering the cajun and western version of their beef and bacon burger. While we waited for our food we were sizing up the clientele of this dive bar. True to the quintessential nature of such an establishment, the patio was chalk full of middle aged, smoking, leathery and loud people. This is not the place to bring your kids if you don't want to expose them to second-hand smoke. One cannot honestly judge them harshly for fitting into a dive bar mold so well. Our food finally came after about 15 minutes. As you can see from the picture I posted, they aren't entirely bad looking. That said they didn't taste very good. The burgers were under seasoned, over-cooked, and just bland and flavorless. The bun was a very cheap choice, which you could probably find to be the cheapest option on the shelf at the supermarket. We were hungry and trudged through our meal. The server came around and asked how it was. I told her exactly what I just wrote and she apologized. She offered to take one of the burgers off of our tab and we insisted that was not necessary. She did end up taking one off of our bill and I again said that I didn't ask for that. Regardless, it doesn't make up for the poor experience here. Even though our server was quite nice, I cannot see myself coming back here. There's nothing appealing here for food and beer enthusiasts. If you're the biker type and love dive bars with cheap food and beer, then this is right up your alley. I wish them all the luck in their future which won't include me as a customer.

As we walked in, it felt as though we had been transported to an Italian eatery in Europe. The ambiance and the new decor were very pleasing to the eye. The hostess was friendly and welcoming. We tried three different pasta dishes with red and white sauces, and we could taste the freshness, which was very enjoyable. There is an option to build your own pasta entrée by choosing the pasta, sauce, proteins, and vegetables. We see ourselves coming back to try various pasta and sauce combinations. The Cozze e Vongole was a delicious and standout starter--we mopped up the sauce with most of the bread from our basket. The wine selection was excellent--we enjoyed all the pairings. We had high hopes for the tiramisu, but it was just flat, which was surprising. Our server was very young and was okay; no complaints. We will return when we are in the area. The pasta, wine, and ambiance, for the price, make a great package. We wish we lived closer.

The food and service are consistently very good, especially for the price. The fresh pastas are the highlight, and I really like that you can create your own entrée by choosing the pasta, sauce, and proteins or vegetables. On our most recent visit, we started with the burrata appetizer with ham and pistachios, which was excellent. I had the paccheri pasta with a meatball and sausage. The pasta itself was great, though I did not care for the texture of the sausage link, which was too firm for my taste. The desserts were excellent. A nice bonus was that bottles of wine were half off on Wednesdays, and we enjoyed a very good Nero d'Avola for $25. Service was responsive, friendly, and attentive throughout the meal. The dining room is gorgeous, though I really do not like the chairs. They are small, wooden, uncushioned, and uncomfortable. Overall, despite the chairs and the sausage, this is an outstanding place for a meal.
