We ate there twice during our visit to Colorado. The first time we ate in and had great service and good food. The second time we did pick up and it was timely, hot, and good. Aunt and I had Oriental chicken salads. With that we got the free appetizer of onion rings. Sis got a Santa Fe bowl one time and a quesadilla the next--she thought both were tasty. I went to Greeley Applebee's Friday evening, ordered the 8 oz sirloin steak and it was the worst piece of meat I have ever had. The meat was so full of gristle that I couldn't cut with a steak knife. The cook should have never sent it out. I would have sent it back for another one, but I didn't have another half hour to wait. I did cut off a few bites of good meat. The potatoes were good. I've been to this location a few times when visiting My Mother and siblings since Covid and haven't really had any problems so I'm not sure what the 2 star rating is about. ‍ This past Tuesday evening's experience, party of 10 was above and beyond from beginning to end. Justin D was extremely professional and very attentive in all of our requests. His professionalism in everything we experienced was above and beyond what I have personally experienced while dining out in the last year or so. From the freshly brewed coffee and smoothies to the appetizer plates, water refills and the yummy food (appetizers and salads) we all enjoyed ourselves and the great service! Horrible service. Bartender "Mary" seemed to be in a bad mood and took it off on us. Heard of the $1 margaritas and after we had 2 she said if we were ready to pay our bill. I told her we wanted to drink a little more and she said she had to cut us off, that it was enough alcohol for us. If there is a limit on the margaritas I feel like she could've had a nicer approach on it. Went to this place and on a weekend just two of us expected it to be easy to get in. Not many people. In the entrance lobby we stood for a long period waiting to be seated. No one else was waiting. We signaled a female, appearing to be a manager and she advised it would be in a minute. A party of 6 came into the same lobby and began waiting also. We don't know what the wait was for, plenty of vacant tables in view. The same female, appearing to be seating customers then approached the entrance, looked up smiled at the other group and signaled the group of 6 to follow her. As they were leaving we gestured that we were waiting first. The female just looked at us even knowing we should have been next but waived her hand saying i'll get to you next. It was obvious she knew the group but this type of incident makes me feel bad thinking that the tip from the 6 is better than the two or some other nasty feeling she had at the time. Went here for dinner tonight 7/30/21 and service was fast and waitress was great. I got a burger with old cold fries and later puked the burger up. My sons pizza wasn't cooked all the way and everyone else food was okay. We went at 5pm before the rush and still got okay food. So I got to go here tonight and ordered specifically a well done steak. Their online ordering system made it so it would be impossible for anyone to mess it up. But picked my order up and drove home which is 20 miles from this location and have a steak that in my opinion is rare to medium rare at best. And the potato's are far from cooked. I only gave them one star because I couldn't do zero. They are happy to send you gift cards but not happy to reimburse you. It's no wonder their location in Fort Collins closed. Oooomphh... I really don't like giving lower ratings, but this place just doesn't cut it anymore. Been here several times in the past and it was always decent. In fact, I was a little surprised I hadn't reviewed it yet. My experience this time was similar to some of the others who aren't impressed: - Slow service. They weren't busy, prime time on Thursday evening, about 1/3 of capacity. Should have been better. - Stingy food, mediocre portions. Fries were *limp*, *cold* and *dead*. Made me visualize them dumpster-diving at a neighboring restaurant to get free fries and recycle them. Thankfully, they gave us so few fries that we didn't have to suffer through too many. - Wife's steak was over-cooked, stingy portion, the bruschetta topping was old and gross looking. I get it, it's a low-calorie option; but does that mean it's supposed to look unappealing as well? - I had a standard American burger, it was 'decent'. I had to request the lettuce, onion, pickle and tomato topping - don't mind requesting it. But it was clear that stuff was way past its due date. Maybe it was rescued from Chili's dumpster, too? - Lastly, for the quality and the stinginess of the portions, it's overpriced. Family of four: one kid's menu dinner, one appetizer dinner, one standard burger and one bruschetta steak, sodas and one shared dessert - $60 before tip. Not a happy ending. - Lastly Bonus: LOUD. Christmas music piped in so loud as to wake the dead. Maybe they are trying to summon Jacob Marley...totally obnoxious. Our waitress was quite nice and hardworking though. I could tell they are short-staffed, even for being only 1/3 capacity. She worked hard, was professional and pleasant. Kudos to her. I'm not sure what happened this time around. Like I wrote above, prior experiences weren't this poor; but there are many low ratings for this restaurant, indicating they're trending downward. Nothing I ordered was right. Nothing was close to what was on menu. They spilled sauce all over bag. My son could not eat the quesadilla burger and will eat anything. Food : Chicken Wonton Tacos - great, 5 stars Spinach artichoke dip, excellent, 5 stars Cheese sticks - perfect, 5 stars  Shrimp 'N Parmesan Sirloin - great flavor, rich and tasty sauce, Sirloin had excellent flavor, cook perfect "medium". But meat was extremely tough, very disappointed. 3 out 5 stars. If meat was tender would have been 5 out of 5. Chicken Caprese Mozzarella Chicken, flavor great, complex flavors. Grilled chicken had nice grill marks, and enjoyable flavor. But chicken was not cooked past the grill marks, it was rubbery and had jelly like texture. Had to cook the chicken another 10 min in the air fryer at 450 deg. to get it cooked. 3 out 5. Price was OK, and with $10 off on $30 ticket. It was a great value. In general flavors were great, price was good, service better than most, but tough Sirloin and uncooked chicken was a total downer. We will try it again soon, and see if another selection of protein will be better. This could have easily been 5 stars, but not this time. read more

We ate there last night and it was wonderful. I had the Bourbon Shrimp and Chicken with Caesar salad and an Adios from the bar. My husband had the same main course with the house salad, which is huge, and a seasonal beer. We had an order of onion rings as an appetizer. The beverages and salads were perfectly chilled; the appetizer and main courses were served sizzling hot. All was delicious! We were most impressed by our waitress, Mikayla, and the entire staff as they worked together flawlessly like a well oiled machine. Spoiler alert... I was not happy. Haven't been to this Applebee's location in a long time and stopped by for a nice lunch after church. The restaurant was pretty empty, which should have been my first clue... When will I ever learn? Service was friendly and prompt, but disengaged. The main issue was the filthy flatware and the cups and plates that still had that gritty feeling of dishwasher dried on food. The food that was served was absolutely tasteless. I had fajitas and the stake did not even taste like real meat. My husband had a hamburger and it got cold immediately after arriving to the table. I've never left a place so irritated! The guy who greeted us was nice and polite and we got seated right away. We were finally greeted by our server (Josh) and ordered drinks. So far, so good. Drinks came, we ordered food. Then it went downhill. Food finally came, it was wrong and gross. My sandwich was dripping grease, and my side was wrong. Josh never came to check on us so we grabbed another server to get the side right. Still, Josh did not check in so our drinks went empty. We read online that "kids eat free" at participating Applebee's, so we called ahead to make sure. The lady on the phone assured us that they honored that. It was the only reason we went there. It was a Tuesday night, empty restaurant, and it took nearly an hour to get our subpar food. The bill came and the kids meals were not free. The manager explained that the woman I spoke with on the phone works the curbside and "she doesn't know what she's talking about." So the manager wouldn't take it off the bill.
