It's a great place for bike night, with live bands, a nice patio and drinks. I liked the wings a lot

In a tiny little town like Milliken I think one instinctively adjusts their expectations toward the lower end of the experience scale. There are very few options to experiment and hopefully call your "go-to" place whenever you're town. Unfortunately, this place will not be mine. Several other reviews have pointed out some concerning issues that this place has and sadly there are quite true. My wife and I bought a coupon for this place on Restaurant.com and decided to give this place a shot on a late Friday afternoon. We walked in to a dark and relatively empty bar. There was some sort of finger food buffet laid out on the table near where you walked in, but we decided to pass on that potentially germ ridden food trap. The place had a foreboding atmosphere which clearly was geared toward a racing theme. Since the weather was nice and eating inside would've been kinda depressing, we found a small table on their patio outside. Still hopeful and optimistic about the food (at least until I started reading some Yelp reviews) we started to read the menu and look for something to satisfy our curious appetite. Our server came over to greet us and seemed pleasant and accommodating. We're avid beer geeks and asked our server about their beer options. She said that she had mainly the macro brews such as budwieser, miller, coors, etc. But they did have one IPA, which was from Black Bottle Brewing. We settled on that option, but it ended up being kinda stale and flat, which made us wonder just how long they've had that keg on tap. We ended up ordering the cajun and western version of their beef and bacon burger. While we waited for our food we were sizing up the clientele of this dive bar. True to the quintessential nature of such an establishment, the patio was chalk full of middle aged, smoking, leathery and loud people. This is not the place to bring your kids if you don't want to expose them to second-hand smoke. One cannot honestly judge them harshly for fitting into a dive bar mold so well. Our food finally came after about 15 minutes. As you can see from the picture I posted, they aren't entirely bad looking. That said they didn't taste very good. The burgers were under seasoned, over-cooked, and just bland and flavorless. The bun was a very cheap choice, which you could probably find to be the cheapest option on the shelf at the supermarket. We were hungry and trudged through our meal. The server came around and asked how it was. I told her exactly what I just wrote and she apologized. She offered to take one of the burgers off of our tab and we insisted that was not necessary. She did end up taking one off of our bill and I again said that I didn't ask for that. Regardless, it doesn't make up for the poor experience here. Even though our server was quite nice, I cannot see myself coming back here. There's nothing appealing here for food and beer enthusiasts. If you're the biker type and love dive bars with cheap food and beer, then this is right up your alley. I wish them all the luck in their future which won't include me as a customer. read more

Burnout Grill - Cajun (top) and Western burger (bottom) - New American Near Me - Milliken, Colorado

The food was freezer burnt trash.. the service was nonexistent and the waitresses we're definitely drunk and or high. The ambiance was of a third world country... stay away from this dive of a bar. They make you use porter potties in the back because they can't fix their one stall shitty ghetto restroom. Floors were sticky and the place had a moldy weed smell.... read more

We've had several issues while trying to order food at Burnout Grill. There was a time when we arrived and were told the kitchen was open. We sat down, ordered drinks and looked over the menu. The server came over with our drinks and then proceeded to tell us "sorry" that the kitchen was closed. We would not have ordered drinks had we known that............communication kind of sucks. Another time we came and the only real issue was that food took over an hour to get to us and it was not packed nor a bike night. This last time was on bike night, May 26th, and we ordered food. It never came and when we checked on it they had given our food someone else. Oh and the kitchen was now closed. So we had to go get food somewhere else. This is quite frustrating and really the 3rdtime to where I don't think we will ever come back. The service is really bad. read more

Well, seems as though the locals got a little pissed about some bad reviews for this place. Heck, they might even be employees who opened Yelp accounts to defend their turf, God knows it's happened before. Thing is, if you're a BAR that happens to serve FOOD, why not make it GOOD FOOD? And offer GOOD SERVICE while you're at it? And for God's sake, do something about the FLIES, people. The occasional fly I can deal with, but I swear to God, these guys were flying in formation and making strafing runs on my food like it was a WWII flick. I've been here several times on various poker runs, rides with friends, etc. Mostly just had beers, but last time I went, had a burger that took forever to get, and was dried-out and lukewarm, which tells me it sat in the window for awhile instead of making it's way out to it's intended recipient. My pals who I was riding with got their food, ate, and settled up while I waited, and waited, and WAITED to settle my bill. Finally, I went to the ATM and got cash so I could guess at the amount and leave it on the table. Hope it was enough. read more

Let me start off with how absolutely dirty and disgusting this place is from the parking lot to the entrance to the restaurant and bar it's self, it's very unorganized poorly decorated smells horrible all the arcade games are filthy and sticky the restroom is a joke in it's self, the staff is rude and very slow .. a group of 5 of us stopped in to get some drinks and some bar food and the service was absolutely horrible it was like we were invincible "probably because we aren't the red neck biker trash they are used too" when the food finally arrived it was absolutely disgusting......how do you fuck up bar food??The fries even tasted freezer burnt. Long story short save your money and go somewhere else this place is just a run down trucker/biker/redneck/hillbilly hangout for local drunks. read more

Ordered a bacon cheeseburger and wings. Typical bar food that you would expect to be decent. Food was awful. Atmosphere was disgusting. I know, I know, it's a biker bar, but the place was filthy and they serve food. Wouldn't go back, even as a last resort. read more

Weird vibe and terrible food. I ordered the Jack Daniels steak sandwich. It was terrible. Meat looked gray and nothing but a few pieces of steak and cheese. Best part was the bun. I paid an extra $ 1.99 for a side salad. Basically a bowl of iceberg lettuce. kids had sliders and chocolate chip pancakes. They were actually better than my meal. Never again. read more

Burnout Grill - Glad to visit again. Yummy! - New American Near Me - Milliken, Colorado

service was good until they lost my credit card. Tried to get it and confronted the staff. Locals thought I was starting a fight with them so they decided go start pushing me and fighting with me. I was kicked out becuase of the pushing and shoving and still didn't get my card. The locals that tried to start a fight with me was not kicked out. Not a place for family or new comers. read more

I visited this place because of the bad review. What I found was a place that had a good lineup of beer from which to choose, a great burger and fries, and wonderful people that work there. I was so impressed that I came back a second time, had a different burger, and was greeted by the same wonderful staff that I had met before. Do yourself a favor, go to the Burnout Grill. read more

If you are a nose in the air food snob then you might as well go elsewhere and save your nasty snarling review for people of your own kind. This is a fun, down to earth BAR that happens to serve food. Let that sink in. Again, its a BAR....wait for it.... That serves food. Now if you know many bars that happen to serve food, you are aware that more often than not, the food they do serve is out of a microwave. Not here. The cook puts together some delicious grill items that would would typically expect to see at a diner. Their fries are excellent! As far as being appropriate for children, again, THIS IS A BAR PEOPLE. Dont bring your snot nosed brats to the bar if you don't want them exposed to , *eek* "leathery" people who smoke on the patio! If you don't want to expose your rugrats to the kind of people you would find at a bar....DON'T BRING THEM TO A BAR! TUESDAY nights is .50 wing night. Their wings are DELICIOUS and are suprisingly large for chicken wings. Service has always been good for us - friendly, helpful BARtender that happens to serve food. read more

We had to work this place for a poker run. We had the breakfast burrito, which was great, then stayed for the lawn mower races. We have since been back for the Thursday night trivia a few times. It's a fun place to hang out. read more

Love this bar! My wife and I go here quite frequently and we always get good service. The drinks are great. We love wing night on Tuesdays, big meaty wings. Also, the happy hour is a great deal! This is an institution in Milliken and can't see the town without it. read more

You gotta try their green chili! This is a great little hideout with fun events and really reasonable prices. Great patio, relaxed atmosphere, fast service. read more

Place is clean. Staff is friendly. Hardly anyone in here at the moment. Food choice is typical bar fare. Fried mushrooms, fried potatoes, fried chicken. Pretty much anything battered and fried. Was surprised to see frogs legs (based on availability) on the menu but again, fried. Overall pleased and if you're into fried food, check this place out. read more

The bar was filthy (food particles, drink rings) and the bartender chattered non stop. Ordered wings and the sauce (hot) was surprisingly good. Bartender turned the sound off on the football game that I was watching and turned the jukebox up without asking anyone. The girl had behavior disorders and needed Ritalin! The bar needed s good cleaning. I've been to a lot of dives (and liked them) but this place pretty much sucks. read more

One of our favorite places to go when were looking for good conversation, good food, and a place to escape the House for a night. Go on Tuesdays to get a fabulous deal on the wings - blue cheese are my favorite. Always have the best service! read more

Not clean in or out. Cheap dishware. Poor service, waitress was never around. Not a large menu and too expensive for what they do serve. The soda in my plastic picnic cup tasted like dish soap. My kids cup was an empty honey bear bottle. Not to mention we got to enjoy FOOD POISONING after the fact. We ordered wings and a burger with fries. First, and last time we will visit. read more

Snobs with your pinky sticking out need not to attend. Stay in your high class brew pubs with your neck tie and white shirt discussing your latest stock investment. This is a down to the earth working mans bar and grill. Five star clean? Hell no! Five star caviar and oyster bar? Hell no! Five star owners and help? Hell YES! If you don't want an occasional fly buzzing around go to your yuppy bar. Stay away! This is farm country. Bikers come? Hell yes! Best bar for a weekend poker run. They spend money without the bitching. Lots of parking and extra staff put on for the run. If you want the biggest, tastiest burger for your money or specials that would cost a Donald Trump fortune any where else, it's the BURN OUT! FIVE STARS FOR A WORKING MANS BAR AND GRILL! read more

I am actually sad to say this place has went down hill since last time I was in here... Servise was hoorible. I got their cheddar and bacon stuffed burger and in was completely chared. The chese sticks were cold. My daugters chicken nuggets weren't even nuggets it was fried chicken diced up Wheat beer selection was horrible. The waitress sat at the bar the whole time. I even had to get up to ask for my tab. I am a chef and know food. I won't spent another dime here... The only reason I gave two stars rather than one is because the game room to entertain my daughter read more

Can't say that I would recommend this bar. I got the special which was a fried chicken sandwich with blue cheese that was supposed to be spicy. I'm not sure what I was served but It did not resemble a chicken breast? It was very thin and dry with two pieces of bacon and some sort of sauce The color of thousand Island but no taste and certainly was not blue cheese. This might be a good place to stop and have a beer or two but other than that I think I would look elsewhere. read more

Stopped in shortly for a bite to eat with my wife, left before even getting service at all... The place was filthy, tables were dirty, had to brush FOOD out of my seat!! Sat for a while before deciding that we would rather take our business elsewhere... Dont waste your time on this dump! read more

Needs to be cleaned really, really badly. I am not a picky person and I get it, Milliken is small! But that's no excuse for the smell... If it was cleaned I would give it a solid 3! read more

My husband and I had a voucher for this place, so we decided to try it out. We were so impressed! The voucher was for $22. Our breakfast was so inexpensive that we decided to not use it this time and use it when we had friends with us. I had a waffle and my husband had an omelet, both of us thought our breakfast was very good. If you like coffee, you will love the size of the coffee mugs here. Oh, we plan to go back tomorrow and take our neighbors. read more

Terrible service let me restate that no service at all. Customers had to clean the tables. No staff member left the bar area to take orders or check on customer. A benefit held there from 2 - 6 pm on Saturday afternoon. A benefit event, a donation basket, silent auction items and raffle tickets for various donations to help raise funds for a business and individual who has been struck by the flood and now the road construction. How sad silent auction items disappeared from the tables and bidders did not get the item and the benefit did not get the cash. Really who steals from a benefit event? What a way to end a benefit event with merchandise being stolen form the event coordinators, the individual who the benefit is supporting and the individuals who are there to give back and offer love and support to the individual. My thought would be if you offer your establishment to host this type of an event you would make sure you have the staff to provide customer service and security to protect the items brought into the business. read more
