a plate of meat and rice
Katie C.

The pork fried rice was OK but I've had much better. The crab raccoon was all shell. I doubt there was even a half a teaspoon of crab in it. The Beef teriyaki doesn't even taste like it's been cooked (every place I've had this it has cooked it I was like jerky with a crisp brown skin). The ones at this place look like the beef is still mooing. The best part was the chicken fingers and they are such a small portion and half the ones in my box for the size of my pinky. I will be shopping around to find a better place.

General Taos chicken - so perfect
Anita C.

Recently ordered takeout from this place on a rainy afternoon. Staff was very friendly. The young man in the front was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed before we left. I got the general Taos chicken with a request of a little bit of heat and let me tell you, it was probably the best I've had! You would be surprised how many places get general taos chicken wrong! The chicken was crispy and the flavor had just the right amount of sweetness and kick to it. Just thinking about it is making my mouth drool. My girlfriend had their boneless spare ribs with a side of white rice and she really enjoyed that too. Don't let the simple decor fool you. This place is definitely worth a try if you're in the area. I've been searching for a good go to Chinese take out spot and this place is it!

Hard as Rocks Dumplings with Boneless Spare Ribs and Grease. Yuk.

We had just done some chores in Willimantic and were looking for a place to have some lunch and…read morethought we'd check this really unassuming place. We ordered a salad with ginger and sesame dressing, Tom Yum soup which was delicious and authentic, veg tempura, some eggplant which came with rice. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food and the service as well, which was good. Although a very modest although seemingly haphazard interior layout, the choice and quality of their food was just great. We need more of these types of food places in our area serving up a variety of food choices.

Its offerings encompassed sushi and Thai dishes in addition to Chinese-American but they were executed well and tasted good. No cloying MSG or overly flavored with soy sauce. I had a Thai ginger chicken dish (pad khing) which was flavorful and ginger-forward (which I liked) garnished with whole sprigs of fresh cilantro. My daughter had a chirashi and she said the fish (tuna, sea bass, yellowtail, and salmon) was good and fresh. My wife had a Thai sweet basil vegetable dish (pad ba gai pow) which was nicely spicy and tasty. Service was friendly and attentive. A good place for a meal.
