Got 2 general Tso chicken meals and once again it tasted terrible! This is the third strike. The chicken and the rice taste like the smell of a dirty refrigerator. They apparently don't clean their fridge or cover the food when refrigerated. Brought both meals back and they told me I could order something else. I ordered here for the first time & was not greeted at all. I stood there for a couple of minutes before being asked rudely what I wanted. I got an app, a soup, and a combo dinner. Very unimpressed with it all. The hot & sour soup I got was sweet...and very thick. Wouldn't recommend. The beef in my main dish was actually delicious - very tender - but the flavor was lacking & again, very thick sauce. The app was over fried, hard, and tough to chew. Very Disappointing. Definitely not the place it used to be. Staff ignored me, very unfriendly when she waited on me. I finally got my food. Both the teriyaki beef sticks and the boneless pork was awful, no taste....the pork was thin shavings. We did eat the won ton soup which was okay. read more

The pork fried rice was OK but I've had much better. The crab raccoon was all shell. I doubt there was even a half a teaspoon of crab in it. The Beef teriyaki doesn't even taste like it's been cooked (every place I've had this it has cooked it I was like jerky with a crisp brown skin). The ones at this place look like the beef is still mooing. The best part was the chicken fingers and they are such a small portion and half the ones in my box for the size of my pinky. Have eaten here for years, however most recent experience=menu prices wildly out of date, combination plate quantity has changed dramatically with smaller containers, egg roll vendor changed for the worse (also cold) off shelf fried noodles. Overall quality declined and price increased. read more

Recently ordered takeout from this place on a rainy afternoon. Staff was very friendly. The young man in the front was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed before we left. I got the general Taos chicken with a request of a little bit of heat and let me tell you, it was probably the best I've had! You would be surprised how many places get general taos chicken wrong! The chicken was crispy and the flavor had just the right amount of sweetness and kick to it. Just thinking about it is making my mouth drool. My girlfriend had their boneless spare ribs with a side of white rice and she really enjoyed that too. Don't let the simple decor fool you. This place is definitely worth a try if you're in the area. DO NOT EAT HERE ! My boyfriend and I use to eat here all the time, until one day we got an order of fried chicken wings and requested they be well done. Once we got home we and started eating we realized the chicken was not only NOT well done it wasn't done at all! The actual inside of the wings were tough from being under cooked and bloody. The store was open for another 5 minutes at this point so I rushed in with the bloody wings in hand to return them and the lady told me she would only reimburse me 5 bucks (although my order was ten) because I didn't bring in the rest of the rice as well. This was a place we would go to multiple times a week so as you could imagine we were extremely disappointed. We ordered a meal from Great Wall, having been there before. The man that was working was very rude. He did not greet us as we walked in and ignored my husband twice when he asked if the restaurant took cards. When we finally got our food, it was undercooked and very unappetizing. I'll admit, I was, partially still am, a very spoiled child. The first time my parents brought me to pick up the food, I near refused to eat it. Inside it looks like a very early 90s place, with three tables. You sit down, and you immediately stick to the chair. There is a yellow film practically over everything. This was a huge turn off to me. But, I can't get over how delicious the food actually is, and now that I'm in college, how cheap it is too! Its affordable, and really is the only chinese food in the area that I will eat. I usually get the chicken and broccoli, which the sauce they put it in is amazing. If I don't get that, I tend to end up with crab ragoon or just pork fried rice. There is something about the food that makes me eat until my stomach is stuffed, that keep trying. Food is terrible. Facility is terrible. Ordered boneless spare ribs and got shaved beef jerky soaked in grease instead. The dumplings were hard balls with tasteless meat inside. The sauce was plain soy sauce. The 'lo mein' is really just fried spaghetti. Food is bland, starchy and greasy. Not worth the money spent. The place smells like rotten cabbage and that should have been my warning to cancel my order and run away. Took it all the way home hoping for the best and was bitterly disappointed. Absolutely the worst Chinese Ive ever had. The "Sesame Chicken" was nothing but General Tsos with sesame seeds on it, it had that sour kind of spice that makes your stomach turn. The fried rice was way overcooked and had no flavor. The egg roll was the same way, bland and underwhelming. The guy who took my order was very rude and when he messed up my order he refused to fix it. The inside of the place is unkempt and very small. This place is either hit or miss. Sometimes the food is really good, and sometimes it's terrible. Not to mention the staff is generally unfriendly. The lo mein, egg rolls, and steamed dumplings are my go-to items and they're usually great. The crab rangoon and egg foo yung however, are terrible. At least in my experience, and I've ordered both these items twice. The crab rangoons were incredibly chewy and pretty skimpy on the filling. The first time I ordered the egg foo yung it was super greasy. The second time, I couldn't eat at all because it was gritty throughout while chewing, which I'm pretty sure means it had a bunch of eggshells in it (gag). This is my go to Chinese take out place. It's not a sit down, it's not pretty, looks kinda scary on the outside but absolutely consistent fantastic Chinese take out! The map on here is also inaccurate, it's right across from Walmart in North Windham, they have everything and you even get free sodas if you spend so much! read more
