My son and I are new to the area and decided to eat here last night. We were really disappointed in the quality of food. We ordered chicken fried rice, low mein and orange chicken. The chicken does not taste like real chicken. The quality is so low that I thought if lab grown meat is actually a thing then I have to speculate that this restaurant is serving it. Positives - the portions are large, the dishes are freshly prepared and hot. Orders are ready quickly for pickup and nicely packaged. Unfortunately, those great qualities are offset with greasy off flavors. Fried dumplings are pretty greasy. I'd maybe try the steamed dumplings next time. Eggrolls were crisp, hot, and a little greasy. Hot and sour soup was chunky with good sized pieces of mushroom and tofu. But like the other dishes, I get less than fresh oily greasy off flavors. Sesame chicken was ok, but the same slightly off flavors. Disappointed, I was really hoping this convenient take out place would be a favorite, but we'll try the other local Chinese restaurants before we return to Great Wall. read more

We have tried other Chinese food restaurants in the area, and this is the best one by far. I ordered takeout from here for the first time and the overall experience was okay. The service was pleasant and fast, and the prices were a little cheaper than other Chinese places. I had both the fried and steamed dumplings, and both were really good. The fillings were flavorful and the wrapper had a great texture. I liked how the dipping sauce had a warm temp, but it was slightly too vinegary for my taste. The lunch General Tsos Chicken with lo mein was not the best I've had. The serving size was huge, but there wasn't much heat or flavor to the dish, and the lo mein was just noodles in a sauce. There were no veggies in the noodles as I typically expect with lo mein. I had to add mustard sauce and duck sauce to better the flavor. Not my favorite Chinese food, but I would eat here again. read more

Definitely better than mall food court Chinese. I came in on a cold, rainy day looking specifically for American Chinese food. The door was open and it was chilly inside but the lady shut it once I sat down to eat. Very nice of her as I am sure it gets warm in the kitchen. I ordered a lunch special of General Tso's, which was under $6 for the meat, rice and a side (choice of soups or egg roll). I also got a soda and an extra soup (my side was egg roll.) Total less than 10 bucks. Made fresh and it was so hot I had to wait for it to cool down. Warmed me right up. The pieces of chicken are a little smaller than many places. I really liked this though because each piece was a good bite size and crispy. The flavor and sauce was excellent. Posting pics of a quite generous lunch portion. The egg drop soup was also hot and tasty. I did not love the egg roll. It was thin with not much cabbage. Not enough to take away a star. Wish I had found this place sooner as I am traveling for work and it is the last week. It is some of the better American Chinese food you can find. I find most American Chinese places disappointing. Probably 1 to 2 places in 10 I think has good taste and quality - knowing what you are going for... 4 tables inside. Would be great for carryout as well if I lived here. my first review was a 5* . but went yesterday and it was terrible. the place was dirty, they now have a disgusting couch with a blanket over it, the table was sticky, and the food just went so down hill. They tried to make me pay cash for 2 people and they give you a Kroger bag to take your leftovers home. So you know there are problems. We just moved to Spring Hill and this has become our go to Chinese place. It isn't the best we've had, but it is the best we've seen locally. They're fast and reasonably priced. Wow what a disappointment. I had the beef and vegetables. The beef had a weird texture ( not sure it was even beef) the vegetables were greasy. The fried rice wasn't fried. It was yellow rice mixed with greasy onions, carrots and bamboo shoots. The hot and sour soup was neither spicy or sour. I think someone forgot to add the seasoning to this soup. Having recently relocated here, my husband and I have been searching for a good Chinese restaurant. This isn't it. The beef and broccoli was great; the boneless spare ribs were ok, but the chicken fingers were TERRIBLE as was the pork fried rice. The chicken fingers were more like Mc Nuggets than Chinese chicken fingers, there was very little chicken and they were very dry. The pork fried rice was bland, dry and lacking in every way.
