The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and effortlessly cool, the kind of place that makes you want to linger for hours with a good book and a great cup of coffee. My fiancé and I each ordered one of their specialty coffees along with bagels, and everything was fantastic. After a less than stellar experience at Tim Hortons earlier in the trip, Seven Hearts completely redeemed our coffee expectations. It was exactly the aesthetic and experience I had been searching for. What really made it special was how quickly it felt like a place I could make part of my routine. If I lived in Buffalo, this would absolutely be my go to coffee shop. Before leaving, I picked up a couple of honey sticks and a bottle of their house made lavender syrup to bring home. Now I get to enjoy a little taste of Seven Hearts, and Buffalo, with my morning coffee for a few more days.

Stopped in here to kill time before an appointment after seeing the high ratings, but unfortunately…read morethe experience didn't live up to them. Most of my rating is based on the service. Upon entering, no one greeted me, and I felt rushed while looking over the menu. When I asked questions, it felt like I was inconveniencing the employee rather than being helped. I ordered the blueberry lemon bar matcha and hoped the drink would redeem the experience, but it was disappointing. The flavor combination didn't work well in a matcha drink, and it left a strange aftertaste/coating in my mouth. I also specifically requested no dairy (asked for oat milk) yet it still came topped with cold foam, which upset my stomach. It looked cute, but for nearly $9, it wasn't enjoyable. I had originally planned to order food as well, but the overall atmosphere and interaction felt so uncomfortable that I decided to just take my drink and leave.

So we went at peak brunch time on a Sunday and lucked out with a perfect indoor table which had amazing cross breeze from their open door concept. I truly felt like I was in Europe at a cafe. I got the elevated charcuterie plate with the house made seasonal (blueberry) jam. It was delicious. My partner got the chicken salad sandwich which was incredibly good, a different take on a traditional chicken salad. I got a watermelon plum lemonade (amazing!) and my partner got one of their seasonal lattes which was perfectly flavored, not overwhelming and you can still taste the quality of the coffee. We found our new favorite brunch spot! Super cute neighborhood area, too.

Home town Buffalo feel where you never know who you'll run into while patronizing this family owned establishment. They also have homemade cakes from a local bakery. Absolutely LOVE Golden Cup. Recommend the Meat, Egg, and Cheese on a Croissant with Onions, Peppers and Mayo. They offer thick cut bacon, turkey or pork sausage. Soups here are also VERY good and homemade. Perfect for a winter's warm up. Space is cozy and located at the corner of historical Jefferson and Utica across from the library. You can also purchase coffee by the bag or Kcup box. The vibe is cozy but elevated: natural light, warm tones, the kind of space where you can journal, edit photos, or have a soft life catch-up with a friend. Let's talk orders: Rose Matcha -- This is the drink. Lightly floral, perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, and somehow both calming and energizing. It feels grounding without being gimmicky. I may have even gotten my boyfriend hooked to matcha off of this drink alone Cupid's Latte -- Seasonal but unforgettable. It's sweet without being cloying and tastes like a cozy little love letter in a cup. The kind of drink that makes you romanticize your entire day. Sausage, Egg & Cheese Breakkie Sandwich -- Absolute classic done right. The sausage is flavorful, the egg is cooked perfectly, and everything melts together in that satisfying, messy-in-the-best-way breakfast sandwich experience. It hits every time. Chocolate Muffins (and baked goods in general) -- Soft, rich, bakery-level good. Not dry. Not overly sweet. Just the right indulgence to pair with coffee while pretending you're being productive. What I love most is that nothing feels mass-produced. It feels intentional. The staff is always kind and efficient, even when it's busy, and the quality is consistent. Jam Parkside isn't just a coffee shop, it's a ritual. A reset button. A soft, delicious pause in the middle of a chaotic week. If you see me there with a rose matcha and a breakfast sandwich, mind your business. I'm thriving
