    a bag of kornerstone coffee

I had never heard of Kornerstone before, until I entered Vidler's and noticed a bag of coffee from these guys. At first sniff, I was hooked and went home with my own small bag of coffee. It made my car smell so wonderful :) I was able to find a webpage for them and it looks like they frequent different businesses for their coffee (Vidler's being one of them, Lexington Co-op, Break N Eggs) as well as different Farmers Markets (North Tonawanda, Amherst, Clarence, Broadway Market). Apparently they've been around since 1998 and yet, I've never noticed them before! I'm usually at the Farmer's Market during the Summer... I must be slightly oblivious wandering around the NT Market (coffee, anyone?). For my first batch of coffee, I got the Medium Roast: Central American Blend. It was better than my traditional Folgers in the morning. Better taste and much stronger. They have a number of different blends, based on your taste preferences. The REALLY COOL THING is that they have free home delivery! You can look at the website and learn more about this, but you order the coffee and once a week (depending on your area, additional fees may apply) they deliver it to your house or other specified location. I've never seen that before, but it's awesome if you really like the coffee. As far as I can tell, they only sell their coffee in one pound bags for about ten dollars. It's a bit expensive, but you're buying quality taste. Also: Kornerstone appears to be involved with getting their coffee via Fair Trade. I can definitely support a business that does that :) I'll update my rating when I try more of their blends.

My work schedule doesn't allow me to get there in person very much, but when it happens its worth it. I said what I said is a fine brew either hot or cold and I am sure Black Mixed with Black will class up my home brewer until I can pay my next visit. He helped me choose what would work best for my espresso machine and even ground a full pound for me on the spot, which I really appreciated. My latte was perfection!! I also grabbed a chocolate chip cookie that was absolutely amazing. I can't remember the name of the bakery, but he mentioned they're made by a local baker out of Tonawanda, and it definitely showed. Overall, the service was excellent, the atmosphere was welcoming, and you can really tell they care about both their coffee and their customers. I'll definitely be back.

I had specifically made the stop here to grab a quick coffee & a breakfast "sang-which" on my way to run errands; only to find out upon arrival they offer no food here. ONLY COFFEE. Kind of a bummer. Due to busy Main Street in Williamsville and parking difficulties don't know if I would stop back because they don't have any food to sit and enjoy with your coffee. Seemed popular, long lines waiting to be served. Posting an updated menu on Yelp, as coffee shop has no paper menu (to-go menu) and they also do not have a website displaying their menu online for customers to view. That would be a nice update.

Recommend the Meat, Egg, and Cheese on a Croissant with Onions, Peppers and Mayo. They offer thick cut bacon, turkey or pork sausage. Soups here are also VERY good and homemade. This is a new holiday market in Niagara Falls. Very easy street parking…read more It's in two venues across from each other on third street. Some 40 vendors, I think all local to NF. You'll find quite a few T-shirt stalls - quite varied options. Two booths of creative wreaths - they will last for years. Very large, creative and colorful. Reversible bow ties that win in creativity. They were awesome. I don't know anyone that wears bow ties or I would have certainly picked on up. Great idea. A few places selling mugs, from handmade buffalo themed to knitted mug holders. I recently found macrame pot hangers we made years ago, and I saw them here again. I guess they are back in style. One venue had live music, not too loud, which was really nice. A few places selling various bath bulbs, body scrubs, etc. Many scarf options, I picked one up as a gift. One of the most interesting stalls was called Brick Chick - she makes things for your garden. Very interesting. One site was more cramped than the other, making it a little tight. Great first year event for NF. 105/R-a-D Challenge

I bought a couple bags of coffee from True Bean. Their coffee is absolutely delicious! It's whole bean coffee, maybe a little less convenient then pre-ground, but its WORTH EVERY PENNY! They were also offering pour over samples of their Ethiopian coffee. Its sooooo good! A dear friend of a friend, Billy Butski had a display of his photography. I had to buy a calendar. 12 beautiful images of the Falls, its gorgeous! The Sample Seed Shop was there with seeds. I bought several types of pepper seeds, and some kale seeds. Remy Rotella is very knowledgeable about the seeds she sells. I also got some catnip seeds that my kitties will surely enjoy, and some Thai Basil seeds that I'm really looking forward to growing. I love making Pad Thai but it's so difficult to find Thai Basil in local stores. I sampled some black garlic hummus from 3 Sisters Garlic that was rich, creamy and not overly garlicky but very tasty. I opted to purchase a black garlic butter. I think it'll taste great over steamed veggies. And lastly I bought a beautiful amethyst heart from Spiritual Landing. All together about $80 spent, including a donation to disabled veterans.
