Coconut chicken korma w/ garlic naan

I am not from the area, but when I come visit this is always on my places to stop! their chicken dishes are superb. I always get a different thing every time! and I've never been disappointed!

Chicken Coconut Korma
Amanda A.

I love the food here. Also the restaurant is clean and the service is friendly. My favorite is the chicken coconut korma and the cheese garlic naan is the best one! It's worth the upgrade price. I ran out of rice before finishing my chicken coconut korma so a bit more to balance the dish would have been nice. I didn't want to ask for more cause I believe they charge extra. But again, I didn't ask.

My second time here and I brought 5 other people with me, so we ordered quite a bit. -Lamb Rogan Josh -Goat Curry -Saag Paneer -Butter Chicken -Lamb Biriyani -Shrimp Curry -Fish Curry -Vegetable Samosa -Onion Pakora -Aloo Tikki Chat 3 different Naan and 1 Roti I love that every entree had its own unique taste. Bursting with flavor. Everything was delicious and piping hot. You truly cannot go wrong with anything on this menu. Absolutely delicious and service is excellent. They treat you like family here and keep their restaurant clean. Definitely worth a visit.

The service was so attentive at this place. The flavors were really good and out of the appetizer plate I especially liked the pakora. Yum yum yum!

Vegetable Paneer Pakora

Service here is top notch. They are very concerned over everyone's dining experience here and want to ensure you are pleased with your meal. Food was decent. Enjoyed the vegetable pakora a lot and the rice. Was hoping the butter chicken at medium would have had somewhat of a kick. They were very disappointed I didn't take my leftovers. Service here makes this a destination.

Mango Lassi

Our server was awesome, very attentive and had good recommendations. My group had the chicken tiki masala, butter chicken, lamb tiki masala and Saag Paneer. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Place was super cute, loved the decor and sitting area. Their mango lassi was also pretty good and a good size.

Chilli paneer

The server was friendly. I ordered chili paneer with spice level 10 and the coating was so chewy and paneer was hard. i returned the order and the guy came to me saying if I order hot, they can't do anything if ai can't handle it. I had to explain them that I had no issues with hotness but with the texture which was the worst I have ever tried. They didn't bill me for it but just a warning not to order chilli paneer. For main course I ordered Naan and Daal tadka which was good. For dessert I ordered kulfi which was okaish as best. Overall, it was very underwhelming!

Bengan Bhartha, paneer tikka masala, and tadka fry

Definitely recommend! Indian food is normally very vegetarian friendly and Great India is no exception there. We ordered paneer samosas, garlic and cheesy garlic naan, paneer tikka masala, tadka fry, and bengan bhartha. All of them were delicious and I'd order them all again. The staff was attentive and kind. The only recommendation I have is that they should upgrade to a music service that doesn't have ads because every few minutes there would be really long commercials for kids shows that were super annoying and not what I want to listen to during dinner (or ever).

Came here 30 minutes before they closed and they were so quick with the service we ordered right away and got our food shortly after. The service was excellent and the food tasted great! We will definitely be back again :)

Butter Chicken

Pretty good! We came here just the other day and ordered Butter Chicken, Paneer Pakora, and Garlic Naan of course. The naan was some of the best I've had! It was so buttery and had plenty of flavor! The Paneer Pakora was also pretty good! The sauces they serve on the side were delish! The Butter Chicken was alright but not my favorite. Was a little more tomato-y than I was hoping and tasted more like Tikka Masala. The rice was also a little interesting. It's pretty thick rice with a sweet taste. The serving of rice they give you is quite small but when I asked for a to-go box they refilled my rice! Service was good and they were pretty quick. Overall decent place to go!

Paneer samosas

We were told to come try Great India by a couple people that said it was the best Indian food in Utah. Not a great parking situation and the interior has a feel like it used to be a burger joint or something. The food was good but not great. I like myself a medium chicken tikka masala but their medium was super spicy, to the point that I didn't honestly enjoy the food. We decided to try the paneer samosas which were interesting but if we go back I'd try the regular samosas. The naan was fine but a little on the thin side. Overall an ok experience but not great...If we're in the area we might give it another try.

Food and Service were standard faire for Indian Food catering to the corporate lunch crowd. I thought the food was decent enough.

Amazing food! I get the chicken coconut corma with garlic naan. It's the best Indian food in Utah by far.

In a new place & trying to find a place for dinner. Sushi's the choice - now where? Came across…read morethis place and decided to try it. Small place in a strip mall - a sushi hole-in-the-wall. I'm ok with that. No one else here so seating was open. Nice selection of sushi. Outside of a few *common* rolls each place has different combinations of rolls. This one was no different. We selected 3 to start: Mango Salmon (lots of mango) Snow Bird (avocado & fried shrimp) & Sunshine(salmon & lemon). We finished up with the Fire roll. All the rolls were great, excellent taste with fresh ingredients. Not only was the food excellent but the services was too. It may not looks much, but don't let that stop you. The stop was worth it.

The food is what I am disappointed about. The waitress was nice and the environment seemed chill,…read morebut the food was underwhelming. I got the Chicken Katsu à la carte. The Chicken Katsu was unfortunately more breaded than chicken so it was very crispy, almost like tasting close to burnt crispiness. The cost of the food, tax, and tip was about $18. Yes, I'll tip, but including that, $18 did not reflect the meal I was served. I will note, a lot of the stuff on the menu seemed pricey. I'm wondering if they are trying to properly balance food cost with the costs of the staff since I think there's 3-4 people working there? Another potential reason for high costs is that they are open till 3:30am. What I've noticed with stores open late at night is that because they are one of few stores actually open that late, they can charge higher prices and people will still buy from them. PLUS, if you are one of few stores open late, you can also get away with lower quality food. So if I had to bet, the pricing and quality of food is supposed to reflect super late night restaurant tactics. I'd only go here if it's the only place you're interested eating at past midnight.

We went there for the week day special. The salad was crispy…read moreand fresh. The pizza was delicious! We also got drinks, Spiked Strawberry Lemonade and a Hibiscus Hustle, YUM! Our waitress was Rae, sit in her section if you can, she's awesome!

Our first time back in this building since VIA313 took over from Village Inn…read more General first impressions were that it was cold (concrete floor, IIRC?), and noisy. My wife and I sat just on the other side of the divider from the bar area. We expected a nice, dark, warm pizza place, but no. Kinda' miss the ambiance and warmth of the 1701 Executive Cigar Bar there in downtown Detroit (where I was last there on the GM Project at RenCen in early 2011). But oh well... Being born in La Grange Park (Chicago). Illinois, I am a Chicago thin-crust pizza guy myself (Italian sausage, mushrooms, and black olives...thank you very much), so I was curious as to what this Detroit style was all about. My wife and I enjoyed our pizza and drinks, and that was pretty much about it. Nothing here to write home about, honestly. Frankly, Papa Murphy's take-and-bake makes our favorite (The Cowboy with extra chunk Italian sausage). All the same ingredients on a nice thin crust, and we just have to leave home to pick it up and bring it home. Plus I can sit here at home and enjoy a nice hot pizza and beer and watch the game. Three Stars for an OK experience. We won't be coming back (don't need to.)
