Didn't taste the green beans in the burger and enjoyed the flavor profile. Their cafe is super cute and such a fun vibe. I went for dinner but wish I came early so I can try their coffee. I came here on a whim and the menu was completely different than what I saw online, so I'm updating…read moremy review so that it reflects the new menu. There was a lot fewer "healthy" options than I thought there would be based on the old menus. And then a lot more burgers and hot dogs type of items. They did have bakery items and that's what I ended up ordering. I got the cheese empanadas and they were "mini" empanadas for $5. The cheese was fantastic -- very melted and it had a good flavor. The pastry was fried and so it was oily and I was surprised that the empanadas didn't come with any sauces. But overall, I had a positive experience I just wished that the menus online were updated.

This place is one of Orem's hidden sandwich gems. I say hidden because I don't hear a lot of people…read moretalk about it and it's a shame. The sandwiches here are fantastic and stand out from their competitors with thinly sliced meat that is pilled on, and the unique option to get it "hot" - In my opinion that is the only way to get one of their sandwiches! Hot is not the same thing as toasted. A hot sandwich maintains a soft bread but with a warm interior that makes the sandwich so much more flavorful. Because they don't go light on the ingredients- an 8 inch sub is more filling than a foot long at other sandwich shops.

Cubby's was a lunch stop that immediately earned a return visit before I'd even finished eating…read more I enjoyed the mango salad: Spring mix, marinated chicken, feta, avocado, toasted pistachios, mango salsa fresca, cilantro, and jalapeño ranch--Every bite hitting a different note, nothing fighting for attention, everything tasting genuinely fresh. The jalapeño ranch brings just enough heat to keep things interesting without overpowering the brightness of the mango or the creaminess of the avocado. It's a well-composed dish, and easily the best thing I have eaten so far during an entire week in Utah. The sweet potato fries matched it: crispy outside, soft inside, the kind of side you keep reaching for without meaning to. Service was fast, atmosphere rustic and clean. No ceremony, no friction. I am already rearranging my remaining days in Provo to fit in one more visit before leaving the state.

However, we…read morealways enjoy the bread and many of the sandwiches have a generous dose of mayo, which we like. My go-to is the #4 which is a pretty basic turkey sandwich. They also have a Gargantuan sandwich which basically has a little of everything on it if you're really hungry. The bread is a traditional french roll and they bake them throughout the day. They also source their produce locally so the sandwiches generally taste quite fresh. They do not pile on a lot of meat and other toppings (unless you get the Gargantuan) so if that's the type of sandwich you prefer this may not be the place for you. You can almost always expect exceptionally fast service, it's one of the things they pride themselves on.
