I ordered a Harvest Veggie sandwich for me and my child. It came with one slice of tomato, one piece of lettuce (that was rancid), and cucumbers with mold on them. I enjoy Great Harvests bread and have spent hundreds of dollars on bread at this location. Although when you go into their store to buy two loads of bread for $7.25 each I expect to receive good customer service. The person who "helped" me treated my children rude when they asked for samples and treated me very rude when I asked to have my two loaves cut into slices. I understand the bread is hot and you can't slice it right now, but I do not need a lecture about how well your bread is selling and that there will be plenty of people that will come in behind me to buy the bread - so take it or leave it, they don't care. I guess this location is too corporate and only cares about the numbers of loaves they sell???? There are other bread bakeries, one of Great Harvests assets is their customer service and the feeling of getting served great bread. 1st Visit, and I'm already a HUGE fan! They have the biggest selection of delicious and imaginative breads I've ever seen. I was surprised that this place was hiding out in Temecula for so long without me knowing about it. They offer different selections for each day of the week, and it's hard not to come back every day to try them all out. While you decide they offer you samples of the bread (which only makes your decision harder because they're all amazing), and they even give you samples of some of the delicious organic jellies they sell. The breads I've had (and will definitely go back for more) are: The Cinnamon Burst (sooo much Cinnamon deliciousness!) The Apple Cinnamon Swirl (real apple slices in it! yum!) The Potato Cheddar and Chive (wow... that's all I can say... wow...). They also offer sandwiches that they use their amazing breads for. I haven't had any of these but I will definitely be back for some soon! She ate the other half later in the evening for dinner and said it was still just as delicious. I tried a breakfast sandwich, ham/egg/provolone cheese on the Alaskan sourdough. Again, delicious! I am not typically a sourdough fan but theirs is fantastic. They have a self serve Klatch coffee station, super good coffee. No fountain drinks here, they have a drink cooler with a few options. We grabbed a bottled coke. The cinnamon burst bread is absolutely divine. We bought some cinnamon french bread pudding to-go. That stuff is literally a heaven sent sweet treat. It is better than any other bread pudding I have ever had. I highly recommend you don't leave without some. I wanted a cinnamon roll, they looked phenomenal but I will save that for my next visit. The joint itself is small but comfy. Very cute on inside with a handful of tables, a bar type seating against window, and the outside offers a couple tables for sitting as well. The place is fairly busy yet their seemed to be enough seating to accommodate as many people took orders to-go. The CINNAMON BURST bread is totally worth stopping by on the way to the wineries. I Yelped this place on the way and am so glad I did. How would I describe the CINNAMON BURST bread? Exactly as the name is. Full of cinnamon goodness that simply explodes in your mouth, delivering happiness to everyone with each bite. A testament to how much we loved this signature bread was the fact that our party of 3 walked out with 2 large loaves of CINNAMON BURST, and a loaf of the THREE CHEESE SOURDOUGH in under 20 minutes. That's three pretty massive loaves (USD $6.75 each) when put together, could probably double as a pillow. The three cheeses had nestled themselves in the middle of the sourdough and I wish they had found their way through more of the bread. Save eating the center cheesy bit for last, because, y'know always save the best for last. Aside from the generous bread samples they provide, the atmosphere is welcoming - everything a bakery should be - and the staff are warm. Our server was extremely generous with the samples, bubbly and helpful. The only item I wasn't too crazy about was the BLUEBERRY CREAM CHEESE SCONE. In my opinion, a little dry on the inside and lacking in the cream cheesey-ness. Regardless, I am assuming bread is their specialty and you certainly will want to sink your teeth into some fluffy goodness. read more

We were in Temecula for a few days for wine country. One of the servers at a local winery recommended Great Harvest for lunch (sandwiches). They make a variety of different types of bread each day using only the freshest of ingredients. We both got sandwiches - turkey for him, roast beef for me. They were delicious, but the bread was the super star. We were so impressed that we got "dessert" to go for that evening. The hubby got a blueberry scone and I got a cinnamon cream cheese scone. These were incredible! We nibbled at them all night, along with our wine. The only thing is, our wonderful local store seems to have conflicting days schedule of specific items, i.e. Pumpkin Chocolate chips items. Earlier today, when I confronted the employee who was helping me she said it was the boss who keeps changing dates of certain items. She also said she is confused.
