11.30.23: I was in dire need of a trim before my trip next week. When I went to the website, they had the ability to see the wait time and you can join the wait-list and check in when your time is almost near. I arrived 20 minutes before my time and once I was checked in inside my wait time was less than 10 minutes. Because they don't take appointments, this is the system they utilize. I asked for a trim and we discussed how many inches would be good to get rid of the dead ends. Ultimately, I decided to go with 5 inches. I didn't get the lady's name who trimmed my hair, but she was nice and got the job done and that's what counts. She even gave me a tip on how to tell how much inches I need to cut and that was helpful. Overall, I'm happy with my visit and over the years I can only remember one time I wasn't satisfied with a cut. The ambience and vibe was pleasant and the music being played was decent and not too loud or too soft.

Very busy

First things first. Last minute decision to get a hair cut. Look up great clips on line and they list all of their salons and the current wait time to the right. You pick which salon you want, check in with name and phone number. Opt in to get wait time up dates and then the automated system with give you a 15 min heads up. I didn't get that text. Also, I headed to this one and checked in personally. They told me I still had 30+minutes. It's really busy here. I guess a lot of people get hair cuts on Sunday lol. As I waited, a few walked in and had no appointment. They told them 15 minutes...less wait time to walk in than checking in on line...but I still moved up the list, so not sure how that was estimated lol. After about 15 to 20 minutes wait, Tyler called me back to have my haircut. He was actually quite good. Didn't converse much at first, but after a while start talking. He's been cutting hair almost 4 years. Definitely has a good stylist technique. I went with a military style high and tight with a high fade. He did it perfectly. I was not happy with the automated phone system not keeping me updated on my time. But Taylor made this a five star experience. I will definitely come back to this place and ask for Tyler

Owner(s) of this business like their Freedom so they have a free haircut each Veterans Day for those who Serve or have Served.

Everything feels better for awhile after an okay haircut. We got a complimentary Veterans' haircut here . Service staff sorta answered all our questions okay which made a sorta okay first impression. Sorta did what they're in business to do Short-staffed and inexperienced staff so sorta did it within the time they said they would Sorta delivered what they advertise Sorta followed CDC rules Customer service was sorta adequate No one thanked us for our military Service Owner(s) of this business like their Freedom so they have a free haircut each Veterans Day for those who Serve or have Served as a token thanks to our GIs and we Veterans. https://www.greatclips.com/about-us/giving/thank-a-veteran That's important because it provides Veterans (rare 7% of the population) and GIs (rare one-half of one percent of the population) opportunity to participate in American Dream Veterans and GIs' sacrifices have made possible for 100% of the population. It means a lot to those unable to be employed due to military Service-connected disability as on limited fixed income. Non-military who get a haircut on Veterans Day at Great Clips can receive a Free Haircut Card to give to a GI or Veteran. The cards are redeemed from 12 November through 9 December. I rate 'em 3 1/2 stars. According to Yelp ratings' definitions, 3 Stars is "Ok". That to me is an acceptable rating of business that does day in and day out what they're in business to do. It is not a negative review. Shout out Cody and the team at great clips. I was traveling into town for work for the week and had not been able to get into my regular stylist before venturing out of state. I literally had just rolled into town, found the nearest open shop I could find and let fate takes its course. The team had over a two hour wait, wasn't going to be able to get me in but I was desperate and Cody made it happen. The rest of the team worked diligently with the other guest to ensure that everyone was getting through and trying to avoid them waiting any longer. I was very pleased and thank you for getting me in and the service. Much appreciated

Never a consistent haircut. Now that their prices are jacked up to $20 for 5 minutes of work it's time to move on.

Is this place open?

Unfortunately, they are not open until the statewide stay at home order is lifted. Looking forward to a haircut as well. Hope this helps!
