I booked a same-day appointment for a haircut and style, and I love that the salon offers online booking for convenience. The facility itself was spotless, and the rest of the staff was welcoming and friendly, making for a great overall experience. Daniel was amazing from the start. He greeted me with a smile, was easy to talk to, and is insanely talented. We began with a brief consultation where I explained what I was hoping for, and he took it from there. Before making any cuts, Daniel showed me where the length would fall--about 4 inches--to ensure I was satisfied with the decision. He didn't pressure me into anything I wasn't interested in, and the cut turned out exactly as I had envisioned. I'm fairly low maintenance with my hair, but after letting it air dry today, it looked perfectly styled, which is truly impressive. I couldn't be happier with the results. I'll definitely be back for future services and highly recommend Daniel and Arizona Hair Co.

I always make an appointment, so I don't end up waiting. It's usually not too busy when I go (during weekdays), but you never know. Today, I had a 10:40am appointment, but I got there about 10:25am. I would first like to acknowledge Julissa, who was an excellent stylist. It is unfortunate that she is no longer working there. My most recent appointment was the other day. I specifically requested that only the sides be cleaned up, yet scissors were again taken to the top of my hair against my instructions. Unfortunately, this is the second time this has happened at this location, albeit with different stylists. What concerns me is the apparent pattern. No matter how clearly I communicate what I want, or do not want done, the result seems to be the opposite. In this instance, I did not immediately notice what was happening. When I realized hair was being removed from the top, I spoke up and was told it was simply being evened out. At that point, I felt I had little choice but to allow the service to continue. However, approximately an inch of length was removed, and the result is not what I requested. I am genuinely unsure how much clearer I could have been. I can provide reference photos, verbally explain exactly what I want, and explicitly state that only the sides should be cut, yet the top continues to be trimmed regardless. The first time nearly all of my length was removed despite showing 5 reference photos of ME* with longer hair. I cant defend that from any angle. Some stylists may underestimate the importance of preserving length on shorter hairstyles, but even a small amount of removed length can make a significant difference. For that reason, I will not be returning. Everyone I have interacted with at this location has been polite and professional in their demeanor, and I consistently tip generously to show appreciation for good service. However, kindness alone cannot make up for repeated failures to follow clear client instructions. Only one stylist has consistently delivered the haircut I requested, while the others have not. Since she no longer works there and the other stylists are simply not up to the task of their job, I am no longer a client there. I really should have found a professional salon a while ago but I will take this as my sign to do so now.
