Three employees were sitting down chatting away while I waited for my appt. I went because i wanted to cut my hair into a long bob but my consultation specialist looked at my hair and said my hair was fried. There was nothing he could do, I was so confused. I said, I'm not here to dye my hair. I'm here for a haircut. He said, I know. You need keratin and once your hair gets healthy I could try. Out of curiosity I asked, if I get my hair back to "healthy " again. I asked who he would recommend and he said nobody here. I was shocked and to be honest, I was so over the consultation that I awkwardly laughed and promised him I'd be back. He could honestly care less. I wasn't too irritated because it smelled like hard boiled eggs or broccoli in there. Not to mention, The older woman at the front desk was hella grumpy as well. I figured, if I'm going to spend $3-400 somewhere... I'd rather not spend it there thank you Looking at there reviews.. maybe they just don't serve latinas. Idk. ‍

Nothing was done here. So my daughter now has a partial highlight for $500. Go elsewhere.

I'm used to my stylist calling me first just to make sure I feel comfortable with another person styling my hair. The front desk was courteous and professional. Tamara, my stylist was very professional and took good care of me. Took about 6 inches off my hair per my request. My first reaction was too much hair product because my hair felt sticky and I didn't like the way my hair was styled. I normally put a beach wave using a flat iron and light hairspray. I came home brushed out the product and restyled. Overall, the cut isn't bad and the service was professional.

Do not come here for cuts. Never in my life have I been asked to stand for a cut. My hair was maybe 3in below my shoulders and I'm not tall I'm 5'1. Stylist seem like she did not know how to cut hair. All the hair she cut above me kept falling into my face. Came in with my hair straight, usually stylist asks if I want a dry cut. Not here she just started spraying my hair with water, my hair is naturally frizzy and curly so that exactly what I left with. At one point she made a knot towards the tips and started yanking with the comb. And I mean yanking hard. I don't even know what her name was. Her certificate was half hidden behind her station mirror. Looked like it said Diana. She comes off rude. Which is fine I don't care if you talk to me or not. Just know what you're doing. I didn't even come in with a complicated cut all I wanted was a 1in trim. And keep the shape. I didn't want to leave a tip but the card reader didn't have an option for not tip. read more

This location is the worst. Do not recommend this to anyone. I did find another Supercuts on Northern Ave (5803 W. Northern Ave) that restored my faith in the Brand. They treat you like a valued customer and give the best haircuts. Don't waste your time at this location! read more

Krista was my stylist and she did something NOBODY else has done. She listened to me. We looked at pictures of hair styles I liked and what she thought would work best for my hair. In the end she found a middle ground. I closed my eyes the whole time and couldn't breath from being so nervous. Krista was so wonderful through the whole process. I wanted a root touch up and purple toner to remove the yellow out of my already lightened hair. Long story short I spent two hours quietly enduring the most painful hair experience of my life. From the moment I sat in the chair, she ripped my hair out with a hairbrush, burned my scalp with bleach for 45 minutes, yanked and pulled during the entire application, and even the shampoo bowl hurt. I've never had my head handled like that at a salon! At one point she even acknowledged my pain as it was obvious, and stated it couldn't be helped because of the gloves. I didn't want to cause a scene and frankly I was desperate to finish. After leaving, I assumed the pain would subside, "beauty is pain" and all that, but the next day I still have head sores, a massive headache keeping me up at night, and my hair is dry as hell. She did no conditioning treatment? Also I still have yellow after all that! I paid $115 for this service and I'm going to have to pay more to fix it somewhere else. Absolutely appalling and I've never been treated like that except by my own crazy mother at home when I was 11 #trauma

She then gave me a nice shampoo wash with soothing, warm water. Once my hair was dried with a towel, she cut about 3-4 inches off; which was the length I showed her. Lisa had a great arm workout, blow-drying my long hair. Furthermore, we had a great time chatting while she was working. I was very happy with the way the cut turned out. All my split ends are gone, and my head feels lighter. Lisa did an amazing job giving me that layered V shape cut, and maintaining my desired hair length. I would definitely recommend her. She loves her job, and is definitely wonderful at it.
