If I could give 0 stars, I would. I have been buying cookie cakes from this location for the last 3 years, but since the new owners, Puja, took over, I am utterly disappointed and will never come here again. A week before pickup, we requested this cake and asked for '28' numbers in the center and a thick border and this is what we were given. We were told "it was really hard to do" which is why it turned out that way. I asked the Owner if she thought it looked good and she told me "no", yet, was still trying to sell it to us. We asked if she could try and fix it, and she responded "no, it would ruin the cake if I tried scraping it off". We asked for a partial refund so we could try and fix the cake ourselves, she responded "you either pay me $78 for the cake or you are not getting it. I can sell this to someone else." So, we told her to keep the cake and issue us the full refund. A week and a half later, no refund came through. We called her and she said she would issue it now. She only issued half of our money back (she charged us $78 for this cake!!!). We still have not received the full refund and this incident happened a month ago. We even asked her if she could sell us a different cake or remake it, which she responded "we have no other cakes". This woman would not work with us at all even when she admitted it was a terrible cake and she was the owner! Please do not buy from this location as it is clear they do not care about the quality of their cakes or their customers.

Cookie cake!

Five stars very well deserved! The girls at my place of employment LOVE THEM! Every day we come in and when we're done with lunches we always say "you know what I want?!" And the next person will be like "A COOKIE! Let's gooo!" We take there fav kinds and run down the hall! We love these cookies could never get tired of them! The lady is so nice and helpful! Today I placed a last minute order to get a cookie cake for my friend and when I got there she told me that she had already hit capacity for the orders! Oh no I was going to wait either way but she said GIVE ME TWO MINUTES! She got right to work on the cookie cake in front of her and got it done so beautifully even showed me to approve! THANK YOU SO MUCH! It made my friend very happy!

I called with only 2 day notice for my Sons 21st bday cookie cake. Carol was very pleasant on the phone as we discussed what I was needing. I explained that my son was disabled and that I wanted a wheelchair on the cookie. Carol immediately began to look up pictures and go over ideas with me... and the next day my youngest son brought home the most special cookie cake! There were tears all around. Thank you carol for making our day SO SPECIAL!

Sure the cookies ARE overpriced. And they want you to buy 5 to get a 6th one free. Nobody needs 5, much less 6! This is supposed to be a bargain? But I have been addicted to those M&M Double Doozie cookies since 1992 when an old ex-gf introduced them to me on a trip home from college. There's something about that white fake processed sugary tasting icing in the middle that I completely CRAVE. I love that stuff! It's an art to eating one of these. When you bite the icing sandwich, the icing can ooze out onto your hand. I try to eat around this evil concoction to make sure I get every bit of the icing that can squish out. The tattooed and pierced employee had an absolute look of misery on his face. So much so, I was actually a little concerned about him. I know it's a crap job, but he was just going through the motions. Surely he could get something else where that tattooed and pierced "look" is an asset (I mean it IS Austin after all) and where he'd find a bit more enthusiasm in what he's doing. Leave that job to the high school kiddies!

They are amazing cookies. I recently ordered a cake and it was as good as I every remember. They now have colored icing. It is easy to order. If you tell them a time to pick it up, do not expect to get it early. They literally make the cake a hour or two before you told them you would pick it up. I find it odd they do not have prices anywhere on display. The cake was $33. I bit high for a cake when you think about it but everyone loves them. The icing is crack. You can't get enough of it. The girl that took my order was nice the one I dealt with when I picked up not so much. They are working at the mall on a Saturday. I am sure that can't be easy. However, they need try a tad harder to be nice to their customers. The product amazing, customer service ok.

My request was a girl skiing on a slalom ski! They nailed it!! The cake was a hit at the party!

I love the green soft chairs, the tables, and the chef statue greeting you as you pull in front of the building. He's right there in the window. The bistro honestly takes your breath away. I love it! So in the last two weeks, I've been back exactly four times. My first introduction was the Croissant Scramble with chicken and veggies inside, with the Arnold Palmer. My friend got the Croissant Scramble with brisket. The presentation of the croissants when brought to the table blew me away. It was wrapped up in the cutest paper with the ends twisted. The topic of conversation was how good the croissants were. Before we left, we ordered some delicious cookies. The chocolate chips were yummy. So I went the following day and grabbed some pastries! One in particular was the Pecan Bar. The following week, another friend and I stopped in for the Chicken Pesto Omelet. I like that the fire-roasted bell peppers and onions are cooked, if that's the right word. But l have to tell you, the Mexican Hot Chocolate drink brings on the flavor, as does the ice-cold Mocha. Of course, we got the Pecan Bar for dessert. So yes, I went back yesterday for the Almond Croissant. I know, I know!

Not sure why people are giving this place five stars. Unless they're paying for reviews?…read more We arrived here, and the girl taking orders had zero knowledge of anything. Constantly had to refer to "calling her" dad to get information. Multiple things on the menu were not even available. Very "Mom and pop" and below average. Treated like it was a business someone's running out of their garage. Very unprofessional in 2026 in the city of Austin. Your menu doesn't even match what you really have? Customers can't rely on what they see online -- or even the in-store menu. That's disingenuous. We won't be back. Very disappointing.

The outside is a little boring, but the interior is dressed up a bit with a chandelier and bright shiny display cases full of baklava and other desserts. The employee offered us a free sample, which was a good start. I may be guilty of falling for the "Dubai Chocolate" trend, but I chose a few pieces of baklava that had chocolate pistachio flavor profiles. I also took a risk on a nest shaped pastry filled with lemon filling, and I think it was my favorite of them all! They have tables where you can eat your treats there, and wash your hands afterwards, which is important because there's almost no way to do it without getting sticky fingers. I ate two pieces there, and saved two more for the evening, which was a lot for one day, but it was sure a treat!

It was so hard to choose what to order, so I got milk and cookies ice cream, and a blondie. As I walked away, I wished I also tried one of their classic chocolate chip cookies. That's what I'll need to go back for next time! The blondie was good, but their chocolate chip cookies looked better. I'm now piecing together that they're associated with Tiny Boxwoods, a restaurant I'd heard of before. Their whole complex of white buildings feels like a peaceful little retreat in the middle of the city. We took my blondie to Pease Park (and I ate the ice cream on the drive there), but next time I'd want to simply stay in the neighborhood to eat it.

I stopped by to try the coconut sugar latte (there's a lot of hype around it) and I wasn't impressed. They took 20 minutes to get my latte to me and told me they had forgotten about it. Which is not acceptable and a waste of time. To compensate they gave me a cookie but the service needs major improvement bc they also got the couple next to me's order wrong. Overall I tried it and probably won't be coming back. It's objectively good but nothing stands out. There are plenty of other places in Austin to get your sweet treat fix. It's worth trying but not a staple.

The pink cake and brown butter lavender concha were GREAT, but the butternut cardamomo panque was exceptional. 10/10. A must-try in my opinion. It was moist with a great texture and flavor. The inside is super small and only meant for ordering, but it was cool getting to see the masters at work preparing the food (don't film or photographer the employees though as there is a sign not to do so). There is a decent amount of seating via small tables and benches behind the restaurant, in front, and along the sides. Customer service was good! One employee was particularly sweet when he checked on us as we ate outside. My friend said that the food was amazing and that he felt grateful. Stewed meat with tomato based sauce, and paired very well with their breading. - Portion size was moderate. However for the price, it was not that filling, and I wish that it were either a little larger, or a little less expensive - Definitely enjoyed this item, and one of the better empanadas that I've had Overall, a cool spot in the middle of the neighborhood. Their patio area was FILTHY: tables with dirt and crumbs, napkins on the floor, grime. It was just gross. Then, in the very small space inside where you order, somebody brought in a massive slobbering dog (NOT a service dog) and the staff were completely blasé about it. So not so much into health codes here apparently. We each ordered a taiyaki, and also got 3 macarons and 2 donuts. The ube macaron had great flavor but was completely stale, so it sucks that they are serving old food. The vanilla-passionfruit and yuzu were much better (and fresher). As for the chocolate donut, we liked the flavor but we're not the biggest fans of mochi because something the texture makes it feel like you're eating something raw. Same issue with the pumpkin donut. We do have to say that the taiyakis were awesome. We had recently tried SomiSomi and these ones were definitely better. The "fish" has a great balance of chew and crisp, and we loved the consistency of the soft serve. One of us got the pumpkin and it had such a pleasant light flavor to it that wasn't cloying or artificial. So good. One of us had to get ube and black sesame in a cup because you couldn't swirl them and both flavors were delicious, as was the unique red bean paste (which we fell for when we were in Japan this past summer). If not for the sanitary conditions and semi-catatonic workers, this would be four stars. We can see ourselves coming back again at some point, and hopefully they can train their staff to clean up, smile, and not let customers bring filthy animals into a confined space. Three stars for now.
