We have taken my daughters car to Grease Monkey several times...spent lots of money there, including a new battery about a year ago. This morning, they gave us a quote to do work on her O2 sensors, and told us the "new" battery had issues with the cold cranking amps. They called us about an hour ago to tell us they couldn't honor the quote they gave us and that there was nothing wrong with her battery...so frustrating! He conducted diagnostic and provided quote in advance and kept in communication with me when he couldn't get parts as quickly as he thought. Wife took our vehicle in for an oil change and inspection. Oil change and inspection service and cost are very good. They should stick to that. The inspection identified a couple of items that needed to be corrected, no problem. We came back to pick up the truck and looked at the bill and it just didn't seem right. Sure enough, I called the dealership and Grease Monkey marks up parts 100%. RIDICULOUS I went back and asked Wes, the manager and he confirmed that was their markup. He said check around, so I did. Two other shops within 5 miles stated that the mark up excessive. No surprise their, I would expect that but I take my other car to an independent mechanic and his markup is 20%. These guys should stick to oil changes. Will never be back. read more

I just want to say how fabulous the crew is here at the grease monkey...I have never ever been treated as courteous and been informed as much as I was with this crew I have to say I will definitely recommend anyone coming to this location and I will definitely be coming back to get other things done for my car here!!! So... Back to Grease Monkey for Brakes! Some other Chain which will remain nameless but -Just- apparently sucks did a crap job and denied our warranty because and I quote "You did not replace the ENTIRE brake system, which caused undue wear on the new components" not kidding. Grease Monkey looked the car over, reported back on what appeared to be off brand parts and gave me a fair price with a warning that there may be more issues. I agreed and understood, got a call back with some sponginess and agreed to a complete brake bleed. Now at 130k miles I'm not expecting perfection, just above decent, and Grease Monkey delivers! The Journey Ubered all weekend with zero issues and stops like a champ. Thank You again guys! read more

Went to get an oil change, was told misinformation about inspections and registration stickers. After mentioning i used to work where they print the stickers, the woman i was talking to told me to do whatever I want then, she didnt care. Wont be going back. read more

They did not top off my radiator fluid and on top of that they did not communicate to me that it was low. When I got home I checked to see if they performed all the checks on the checklist. I called them to ask why they did not top off my radiator and why they did not communicate to me. In the past they have done that. I have noticed that this new ownership group is nowhere near the previous owner in so far his customer service and performance. I gave them a second chance after a subpar prior review. I will be looking for a new oil service. read more

Ok now my wife used to regular this place before we met so I dunno how many times they ripped her off. They regularly treated her like she was incapable of forming a sentence with the word car in it and would charge her for things she didn't need (air filter, cabin filter, OIL CAP!?!) Also, my mother, even after advising her NEVER to visit this place EVER tried to charge her for a battery that 6 other places tested and said was in great shape. The love to prey on women so beware. The only reason I gave them two stars is the fact the employees are so nice while taking you to the bank and the waiting room that is the size of a closet is always clean. read more

Absolute WORST customer service I have ever received. I work in customer service myself and the way I was spoke to by the general manager was completely unprofessional and very rude. Not only was he disrespectful but apparently because they did a "free" service for us but replacing a simple bolt they feel they don't need to fix what they messed up. The bolt they put in my vehicle was the wrong size and is now stripped and unable to come out and the original problem I went there for us now worse. This is the worst place to take your car. Did not complete service. No carpet vacuum, no tire inflation. Told they were understaffed. Ownership changed hands was told. Someone isn't paying attention to their business and customer service. They knew how to ring up that register. They had JUST enough staff for that. I hesitate going back after being a long time customer since they opened on day 1. In February 2014 I took my wife's 2010 Mercedes in to get the inspection sticker and while I was there they asked if I wanted an oil change, it needed one but it usually gets done at Mercedes which is much further away. Being lazy I said go ahead. Everything appeared to be fine until I got about a block down the road just past the light at Walden Rd. and the oil light came on so I quickly did a U-turn to go back. As I was headed back the whole car shut off I didn't even make it back thru the light. They had to tow it back. After about an hour of arguing with their manager who wanted to do nothing and leave it overnight I finally got him to let me see them drain the oil. Only a half a quart came out after about three hours from the oil change. Thats right they did forget to put the oil back in it and the engine was completely locked up. It took a few days before they were willing to give me their insurance information but I finally got it. End result they totaled the car because a new engine was $18,000 and my gap insurance had to pay it off. So now we have one less car, no money from the car to put down on another car, and still had to pay car payments until it was officially paid off by their insurance company. Accidents happen but trying to be shady is intentional. I do not recommend you take any car to this establishment. BEST part they charged me for 1 quart more oil than the car held. read more

I have been getting oil changes at Grease Monkey for about 15 months now.I had one female mgr. behave in a rude officious manner , but only once. In March 2018 I pulled in for an oil change in my 2017 truck w/only 25,000 miles. I told the contact person I did NOT want synthetic oil ,but standard as usual. Another employee approached me 20 or so minutes later. He informed me they were under new ownership and no longer had standard viscosity oil; this happened only after they had drained ALL the oil from my truck,leaving me no real choice in the matter. They will NEVER have another chance to cheat me again. read more

Friendly staff, clean waiting area and they have plenty of televisions in the waiting area not only for your entertainment, but that are connected to cameras in the garage so you can watch your car get worked on while you wait. I am new to the area. I have been to Grease Monkey twice, once for each car. Both times I was able to drive right in and have someone take a look at my issue right away! The garage guys were very helpful and took care of my problems and explained in details the what and how. Also, they don't nickel and dime you for every little thing they do. some of these other must work there because after my car is still setting in the driveway after two years and they left off the coolant cap after charging for a new one which meant that after 35 miles my car had no coolant in it and it cracked the head on the motor he promised to fix it, he through it back to together with old parts and it had to be towed home it ran for 10 miles and still sets here, in my opinion he is a crook and a liar, beware, beware , beware, you have been warned, I seen him sell a battery to a women telling her that they do not recharge after being run low because her lights were left on, what a lie, sold a cab in and air filter to a lady telling her it had to be done at every oil change. it will be hard to sue him after reading this because you have been warned and good luck you have heard my thoughts and opinion so if you use him now , you will need help read more

I wouldn't recommend going to grease monkey to my worst enemy. First off, they were going charge me $400 for a rear break change. The parts needed were only $100 so what's the rest of the $300 going towards? then when I said I couldn't afford it, they completely DESTROYED my tire lug nuts that I JUST BOUGHT last week. When I called and asked WHY they did that to my car, they said they didn't do it? so where did they get the $400 price from if they didn't even take off my tires to look? they HAD to have taken off my tires in order to see if my breaks were broken. Unless they really didn't and then we're just planning on ripping me off because they felt like it? but they more than likely did and destroyed my tires. I had to literally BREAK THEM OFF bc they drilled them in so wrong and tight. Then, when I went to go pick up my car to get it back (unfixed) they had left my windows down and the key in the ignition. SOMEONE COULD'VE EASILY STOLEN MY CAR. This place is so unbelievably unprofessional it's unreal. WES THE MANAGER is the man who DESTROYED MY CAR and left it out in the open for anyone to take. this is the worst business to ever exist and no one I know will ever come here ever again because all these people do is RIP OTHERS OFF. it's so disgusting and sorry. they have no respect for other people's property. just because we couldn't afford it they had to go and destroy my car. read more
