This is easily one of my favorite restaurants in town. It feels like home, staff is great, endless menu of spirited liquid libations and the food is always pitch perfect. Try the Asparagus & Mushroom Dianne as an appetizer. Your tastebuds will thank you. read more

As soon as I walked inside, I loved the atmosphere. Old building with lots of character. I first herd of this place on yelp looking for somewhere new to try for our 8 year anniversary. We got sat at a nice private table away from most of the other tables and I liked that. The hostess and our waiter were amazing. Super helpful and checked in on us when it was needed. We went on Tuesday and Tuesdays there are $2 off their selection of ipa beers. I think they've got around 6 to choose from. Every beer we had was delicious. I ordered the spicy burrito and my hub ordered the fish tacos. We also went with the stuffed jalapeños with bacon as an app. I don't eat meat, so my hub ate bacon. He seemed to like it, besides it was a bit chewy. They were pretty spicy and the filling was SO good! My burrito was the perfect amount of spicy and fresh and amazing. We will definitely be going back maybe for their meatless Monday specials. Overall great food, service and selection of beers. read more

Meatless Mondays!!!!!! Who needs meat when you have the most delicious chutney salsa EVER!!!! Also definitely get as many tasting beers as your tummy can handle. We had a great server who's very knowledgable about the huge beer selection here. BF and I are big beer buffs and he was able to help us identify all the awesome local, tiny microbrew selections that we'd love. And boy did we!!!!! A well run bar featuring food based off of English/Indian recipes. If you have ever wondered what a beef vindaloo would taste like, this is the place to try it. We started out with the samosa's which were huge and had great flavor being cooked perfectly. I went with the Carriage House beef which was served over a pile of sour cream mashed potatoes and after a day of pedaling around in the snow was a perfect way to end the day. What a gem of a find! Prices are very reasonable. Food is delicious, hearty, and unique. They give Indian food an English twist. BRUNCH brunch brunch brunch. That's all I'd go here for. Go eat outside on a sunday morning/afternoon. May be decent for drinking at night if you *happen* to be in the area. This area (creston I believe?) is definitely picking up with new businesses popping up regularly. My brother lives not far from here and we go to Graydon's together. He adores the beer selection and I love the British pub food. I personally think their brunch is better than Terra or Anna's, but all are attempting to do the same type of thing. read more

What was once our favorite date spot has changed. The music is too loud, most of the booths are gone, and the food has gone from imperial cuisine to "I do what I want" food. We met family here for Sunday lunch/brunch on their recommendation. We got there just before the crowd piled in and I was wondering how the ordering and serving was going to go. It went very well. The noise level increase was another story and made even conversation difficult. They need some sound deadening materials or structure. For the food, for starters if you like bacon or bacon dishes this is a place to come to. They do it well. The menu description is not huge but broad enough in its offerings of dishes both standard fare, and variations on them and the British and Indian fare. My SO had the Bangers and Mash variation and thought it was great. I had the Fish and Chips. Caveat here; It is A Fish and Chips and it is big, lightly coated cooked to just the right flakiness and moistness. The vegetarian themed dishes were well balanced and liked by everyone. There are more items that we want to try so we will be back because they did everything right and well the first time and that is why I gave them five stars on a first visit as I also expect that they will do just as well the next time. read more

Before the fire, it was my wifes favorite restaurant. We ate there 3 to 4 times a month and she had her birthday dinners here. We've tried it at least 6 to 8 times since they re-opened and the place isn't the same. The food has gone down hill. The last time we were there, the wife ordered her favorite, shepard's pie. It was 80% potato and she didn't even finish it. The was the first time I ever seen her not finish the shepard's pie. We'll probably give it another try agian since we loved the place just a couple of years ago. read more

Since my husband and I loved Derby Station, we thought we'd give Graydon's a try knowing they were in the same "group". It's the end of summer and we headed out on a Monday night to try it out. Even though it was Monday, there was a decent sized crowd there and we instantly loved the atmosphere. Our waitress was amazing. Simply amazing. She made excellent recommendations on food and drinks, and was always there to fill em up when we were getting low. I was absolutely delighted to see a menu dish that had brussel sprouts with it as I am one of those very strange people who love the sprouts and I can't recall ever seeing it on a menu before. They were cooked perfectly and by the time I ate our hummus appetizer and them, I was pretty well done eating. Even though we moved to west Michigan 7 years ago, we have been enjoying finding more and more places like Graydon's and have added them to our list of places we enjoy and will visit again. read more

One of our favorite places! Came here for Valentines brunch today and once again was more than impressed... Had a dirty martini with blue cheese stuffed olives, and Bloody Mary with green olives , pepperocini & an included chaser of light beer. REALLY enjoyed the Valentines special, a smoked spinach artichoke dip that brought tears to my eyes!!! I'd like to add we had the exact amount of crostinis & pita bread to enjoy this mouth watering appetizer... Also enjoyed every bite of the breakfast tacos & my honey had the Dubai scramble. Oh last but not least ordered a side of the beer bacon! It was like bacon & spare ribs made love! soooo good! Have also been here for dinner many times and always enjoy the Bangladesh burrito & Indian nachos... & of course Graydon's has a great craft beer menu!! read more

We love the food! No matter what we have tried, we are always happy with our meal. The burrito is one of our favorites. The service is always great! They have a great beer list and from what my friends say their wines are very good as well. We eat there year round and have never been disappointed. read more

This is a goto stable for date night when we can't decide and it hardly ever disappoints. The food is great and is one of the few places you can get a properly cooked rare burger. Not to say that we have not received an off night for the kitchen. When the burger was more hockey puck from a pre made frozen patties,but they always make any mistake right above and beyond what you would expect. read more

I went here with my brother when it was very slow. There were two waitresses and four tables including ours. We sat for twenty minutes as both waitresses served the three tables around us. Finally, I went to the bar to ask why there was no table service, and I was told that a waitress had called in sick and we were HER table. The bartender said he'd send a waitress over. She came once and took our drink orders. These drinks, when ready, sat at the bar for WAY too long and the waitress never came back. When, again, we went to the bar to get our drinks, we found our waitress and bartender joking and shoving while dividing tips. My brother and I left. We had been regulars. Bad service, cold food. I was really interested in Graydon's Crossing because of the pub aspect, and I was not disappointed. The atmosphere is excellent, but not overbearing. Our waitress was a little distracted by the baseball game that was on, but I can excuse that because I would be the same way, and she didn't get any of our orders wrong. The Drunken Cow burger was amazing, along with the fries. We received complimentary kettle chips, but they were extremely spicy. They have a wide selection of beers, but many of the Irish beers I would look for were missing--especially of the Guinness brand. But, still, I was pretty impressed, and would likely come back next time I'm in town. read more

Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Grand Rapids! I love the beer selection and I have never eaten anything there I didn't like as well. My Favorite is the burrito it is different than most but very delicious (careful it is spicy though). The servers and chefs really know there stuff and can match a beer to the food you order.
