Gravity Coffee is strictly a drive-through operation in the parking lot of Vancouver Mall. It doesn't have a drive-up window, it has a drive-up door on both sides of the building. There is no signage indicating whether one, both, or neither is open, it's pretty much a crap shoot. If the first door isn't open, it's a longish driver around the full length of the parking lot to get to the other side (which I had to do and found the second drive-up door open. I ordered a mango smoothie, which was delivered in record short time. The solitary employee was helpful and friendly, but the smoothie itself was really not good. It tasted like frozen and almost thawed mango nectar as opposed to pureed fruit and ice. I wasn't impressed at all. Gravity offers many varieties of "energy drinks", which I've not really seen at other such establishments. If you're at Vancouver Mall anyway, are dying of thirst, and see that the door closest to where you're driving is open, it is a suitable place to get a beverage. I'd not make an effort to go visit there specifically.

Tried three different drinks today for the first time, I love how their passion fruit taste like tea and not headache giving energy drinks. Their lattes were spot on perfect! Huge sizes too! A medium looks like a large, and I recommend asking for low ice because they fill ice to the top.

Messed up drinks that we got from our barista. Milky Way and Caramel Blended coffee drinks. No coffee was added...

We stopped here hopping to get a good coffee fix on our way back to California. My younger brother was looking to try a Raspberry Smoothie from them. There was only one girl working and she was visibly stressed. She hasn't smiled, heard half of the order and started making it without asking if we wanted anything else. When she was done with the half, she was about to send us away to move on to next clients and we had to tell her that there were more drinks we wanted. She listened to the rest of the order with a very discontent face. She then continued yo say that there was no raspberry syrup for the smoothie and asked if she could do strawberry. After that she said that strawberry is also running out so she will do part mango. She ended up making a mostly mango smoothie for my brother. For our blended coffee drinks, she did not do them properly. She just mixed vanilla ice cream with the syrups and didn't add the whip cream. No coffee for us. We initially felt bad for her cause she looked busy and stressed. We left dissatisfied and had to reorder at another location. I understand bad things happen but in no way you can treat clients as if they are part of your problems.

Came here specifically for the acai bowls, so I got the acai banana berry & bf got the acai mango. The bowls were big & topped with lots of fresh fruit. The consistency was like a smoothie. Flavor was good on both, a little watered down. It wasn't the best acai bowls I've ever had, but it was good. I'd definitely want to come back & try the smoothies.

After this, it took 26 minutes to make my juice. It seemed like the printer prints tickets telling them what to make went down. It took two employees TO CHANGE A ROLL OF PAPER. Then they continued making to go orders. No one thought to triage what was sitting in the shop and make those first. There were seven people waiting at this point. Someone called in a phone order and that was put through before my juice was started, and this was 15 minutes after ordering. I know this comes across a bit Karen, but we need to teach young employees of businesses like this how to handle busy days, when equipment breaks, etc. Nothing was communicated to any of us sitting in the shop. I feel bad for the employees when something like this happens - I have worked food service so I understand. But communicating goes a long way, and there was none here.

They have a lot of things- esquites (corn in a cup w/ cheese & mayo- so like elotes but in a cup), elotes, tamales (these might be seasonal, I'm not sure), fruit cups, hot cheetos with cheese, mangonada, fresca con crema, bionico, diablito, chamoyada, chicharron preparado, smoothies, crepes, etc. I haven't tried everything, in fact, I've only gotten their fruit cups with mango and tajin because I'm a creature of habit and it's an amazing, healthy snack on the go. Next time I venture into the mall I'll definitely try some of their other foods. My mom didn't know what tajin or chamoy was and wasn't sure how she'd like it on fruit. I tried to explain it because I'd eaten it a lot when I lived in California briefly- she's pretty open minded so she agreed to go in and check it out. The employees here were the absolute sweetest and prepared a little sample to let her try a bit of both before she committed. She ended up ordering a mixed fruit cup including watermelon, mango, and cucumber and chose the tajin. She loved it! This place is very spacious and clean looking. There's also pretty close to an entrance of the mall- right under the food court- so it's really convenient, even if you don't want to go into the mall at all! I hope this place stays open because I really love it and recommend it to everyone I know who lives in the area.

Late afternoon visit, so the hipster crowd had clearly skateboarded back to their respective creative labs. I had the place to myself. Prime auditing conditions. First impression? This place is built for volume. You can tell. Efficient layout. Assembly-line potential. If bowls were a factory sport, this would be a playoff team. Ordered the Home Grown. Took a quick bathroom break. Came back and -- boom -- bowl was already on the counter. FAST. And it looked elite. Then I saw it. A generous dollop of peanut butter at the top, sprinkled with hemp seeds. I almost got emotional. It felt like flying over your hometown after months away. Familiar. Safe. Right. First bite? Delicious. Smooth. Creamy. Almost like frozen yogurt or soft serve. Easy eating. Crowd-pleasing texture. And then... I looked up. Another bowl was being made. The açaí base was coming out of a soft-serve machine. As a purist, this one hurt. I want hand-scooped. Blender-blade symphony. Crafted, not dispensed. I had a small internal crisis. But here's the problem: I really enjoyed it. So now I'm torn between my values and my taste buds. Would I go back? Yes. Would I wrestle internally again? Also yes.
